It would be easy to characterize Gainesville as a pure college town—the University of Florida is home to over 50,000 students in a city of 130,000, and the campus is arguably the defining cultural hub of the community. Between the art exhibitions, concerts, lecture series, and, of course, the wildly popular Gator sporting events, the UF campus culture is a magnet for students, locals, and visitors alike.
But Gainesville has much more to offer than just an electric collegiate atmosphere. The historic Hippodrome State Theatre anchors the thriving Downtown district, which is packed with a vibrant assortment of bars, nightclubs, and restaurants. Local favorites like Flaco’s Cuban Bakery and Volta Coffee attract a steady stream of students and non-students alike at all hours of the day and night.

Property Ratings at Bella Vista Village
This place is excellent have had nothing but great experiences. When it comes to maintenance the guys are really nice and always willing to help. and you cant beat the price .
Nice clean and cheap! Everything is remodeled. I always feel safe. Close to everything in town
The staff is extremely attentive, the neighbors are very kind and very neighborly and respectful and peaceful, I've lived here for six years, I never had an issue with management management is very very professional, and management deserves much respect, they do a wonderful job for this community, and it's greatly appreciate.
So much to say but I will keep it simple DON'T MOVE INTO THIS PLACE! Lived her for 2 years and moved out because I did not feel safe, people walking around your trailer of a night, police always out there, maintence issues not addressed in a timely manner and when are repaired if you can call it that, the man has a attitude and talks about people that live there, rude staff, drugs etc the place falling apart. Not sure why the city has not stepped in.
I just recently moved in and I am so happy. Everyone in the office went out of their way to assist me from my paperwork to getting through to GRU. My neighbors are Awesome. I like that they really help the Veterans. Thank you Bella Vista - Susan and Esmeralda your the Best.
mold infested, let me go without heat and ac, roof leaked, no pest control and cleaned that nasty place only for them to keep my deposit without telling me why. I have photos and several other people will tell you. RUN

Meadowcrest Apartments is a quiet place with mature trees that surround it and which are within the complex as well. Yes, it is situated next to a railroad track but do not let that deter you as the track has been decommissioned and is no longer in use. Meadowcrest has a sparkling pool and a picnic area adjacent to a playground for the children. Cats and dogs are welcome. Within the compound there are many open grass areas which are well maintained upon which you can play with your dog or play field games with your friends. Come and call Meadowcrest your next home.
