Property Ratings at Bellaire Oaks Apartments
I had gone on one tour and it was nice, I was in good contact with the leasing office. I then scheduled a second tour with a leasing agent, drove 45 minutes to get there, only for the office to be closed. The agent should have known the office was closed that day. Given I was desperate to find a place, I applied for a lease here, and never heard back from the office again. I'm sure they're happy they got $50 out of a broke college student. The place looks nice for the price but I was left hanging after applying for a lease.
My application process with Mis Jackie has been very helpful. She has been top professional and very kind. The community is very lovely and so peaceful. 110% recommended
This is the only complex where i’ve had to deal with my hot water being off multiple times within a year. Sometimes it takes up to two days. Bugs, mice, randomly locking gates as well laundry rooms with NO warning / emails !!! Extremely poor communication. Not worth the price
It doesn’t matter if the pest control comes in and fumigates I dont think they actually do, been dealing with roaches ever since I moved in these apartments, they come out from the drains in the kitchen sink and from the bathtub drain no matter how clean you are there are bound to come out either way. They give you a how to care for the bathtub and what cleaning products to use needless to say ive used the exact thing of what they want and the bathtub has been peeling its cheap bath paint they used on it. The whole remodeling of these apartments are cheap that they dont even last a whole 2 months even if you’re the most safest with your stuff. There’s a lot of obnoxious people, gunshots in broad daylight, loud music from cars that they are from ppl living here.I don’t recommend ANYONE living here, there are more better apartments around here and better price of what you’re actually paying here.
I moved here last year expecting great things. The apartments are cheap and roach infested. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
My emergency work orders have been ignored for days (temps in 40’s-50’s). Have no heating, had to buy multiple electric heaters to be able to live in my apt. This place is a JOKE. Waste your $ somewhere else!!!!
It is roach infested, smells horrible and are very dishonest people.
Hmm can’t seem to rate zero. People are running away from here. If you own any electronics beware there are roaches coming from inside pipelines n holes on wall n sockets. Bad bathroom steel placement that oxidizes in a couple of weeks(probably will come out of your deposit most definitely)along with handles and water stoppers. Multiple car break-ins (one today actually). If your not really ok with marijuana smell and ppl loitering Idk what to tell you. Floods, Gunshots, potholes, loud cars, bus stop ever 30 minutes. Fights at 3 am. A/C down 2-3 times a month.
Moved here in January 2021. My first time living by myself. I applied here and got approved the same day. For me I do not have any problems here. Minor apartment issues but once I let them know, they respond very quickly and I love that. You have noise issues (people driving through with loud music) ever so often. No one bothers me, I feel safe for someone living alone and a female. Overall I love management, they really get things done. i am glad to be apart of this community.
I currently live in these apartments, and it has been an endlessly frustrating experience since the new management company took over. I initially loved living here, and the prices are great for a reasonably clean apartment complex. However, since the Harbor group bought the property and took over it’s been a nightmare. The AC was out off and on for several weeks during the hottest part of the year, sometimes for several days at a time. Several times the thermostat in my apartment read 96 degrees. Older people, children, and pets live here, and this is in general just unacceptable. The entire chiller unit needs to be replaced but they need “approval from corporate” to do that. They will NOT send out any kind of email in a timely manner letting you know that there is a problem or what they are doing to solve it. Sometimes I would get an email after days of no AC saying that the contractors are working on it. I would like to know immediately that they are aware of the problem and taking steps to fix it. I think it’s insane that not a single person can send an email when they become aware of an issue. Yesterday was the first real cold front of the year, so before I left for work I turned on the heat so my dog would not be cold. What do I come home to? An apartment that is freezing cold and the thermostat reading 51 degrees. Over 24 hours later we finally get an email saying a contractor is working on the boiler. I called the office to ensure that the boiler was the reason why the heat was not on and asking for an update on when it might be fixed. I was told that they cannot turn the boiler on full time until it is “consistently below 60 degrees outside.” So even though someone is working on it, they won’t be turning it on. My apartment has not once reached 60 degrees inside today, I’m currently sitting here typing this while it is 50 degrees inside and yet I cannot use the heater in an apartment I’m paying for! If you value your comfort, sanity, and wellbeing, do not live here. This is the tip of the iceberg and you will regret choosing to live here.
I love living here Gerald helped me I never have any problems management is nice
There have been several Murders in the area People have been assaulted, robbed at knife point, people are constantly screaming in the paring lot day and night. The A/C is constantly “being repaired” or working at “half capacity”, making living conditions uncomfortable. If you attempt to cook during these times the apartment easily reaches into the mid 80’s, even with blackout curtains, keeping the blinds closed all day and having 0 electronics on, the apartment still reaches the high 70’s low 80’s. Even when the A/C is working at 100% you would be lucky to see low 70’s during the day. The trash is not picked up 20% of the time. My Fiancé was attacked at bitten by a dog while on the property. Every summer there are 100’s of wasps living in the brick around the building despite them “spraying”. There are roaches visible almost nightly scurrying around on the ground and side of the builds. 100% chance of seeing roaches in your apartment no matter how clean you keep it. There is no communication from management, and they will attempt to enter your apartment without notice when you are not home, even if your pet is baking on the other side of the door. The Parking lots are a mess, there are numerous blind spots, and no mirrors to help see. People will drive fast and recklessly through the parking lot Hot water is not consistent and is often times not working. Loud music from cars in parking lot, blaring late into the night on weekends. Amazon and other delivery services constantly deliver packages to the wrong apartments.

These are seriously the worst apartments I've ever seen. I've lived in many apts over the years and even the worst one was better than these. If you want constant maintenance issues move here. If you dont need ac move hear. If bed bugs dont bother you move here. I could go on and on and on. Worst place ever.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! THE AC NEVER WORKS...and the office DOES NOT CARE. We have gone DAYS (3-4) without AC in the middle of the summer. This Weekend we once AGAIN went without AC. We have contacted the office OVER 20 times. THE WORST APT COMPLEX! DO NOT MOVE HERE. SAVE YOURSELF THE MISTAKE.
These apartments are horrible the leasing staff is not helpful the property is absolutely dirty all the time trash is always everywhere. My air and stove hasn’t been working for 3 weeks and no one has fixed it. The roaches are extremely bad my apartment has been sprayed a few times and it doesn’t help at all. I wouldn’t recommend anyone move over here these are the nastiest apartments i have ever lived in my life. Roaches bugs you pay for valet trash that doesn’t get picked up like it should just a horrible experience overall
I just moved in at the Villages and what I love about the property is the convenience, price and the location is perfect. The price is great. Susan is very passionate and professional in helping me select a apartment i wanted.Easy access to the Galleria which I love to shop. I have never had any problem with my assign parking I love my parking spot. The interior is upgraded and looks Great. The property staff is phenomenal. Maintenance is always on it when I need them. I love them and I Love Villages of Meyerland.
Price is good, mostly quiet, easy access to freeways (takes me 20 mins to get to work downtown every morning) the service is (usually) pretty quick... but the bad? Dog owners let their (many restricted breeds) do their business in the walkways and anywhere else and just leave it, if you are assigned parking near the dumpster area you should be prepared to dodge and weave bags and piles of trash blowing all over the parking lot on Sundays because people just throw their bags on the ground in front of a visibly empty dumpster, the fitness room? What a joke. Maybe it looked like the picture at one point but now it's unusable and smells bad...I've had my laundry stolen from the dryer twice...
I just moved in at the Villages. What i really like about this complex is the location, convenience and price. my apartment is cleaned i am still working on it, i am a cleaned freak. The stuff is very professional and they helped me with everything and get any of my request done fast. I am enjoying it and its my home for the next year. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I love my home at Villages at Meyerland. We are located in a convenient area near Bellaire, which is also near the freeway; easy access to work and the Galleria. We are near shopping centers and grocery stores which makes life much more convenient. It's a nice place to call home. My apartment is spacious, and as a woman, the 2 closets are an added highlight! The assigned covered parking for no fee is another plus! The landscape throughout the apartments stays manicured and clean. I am grateful to call this place my home!
This was definitely an experience for my first apt. The area floods really bad, assigned parking is very tight, and dog owners are inconsiderate. Apartments need updated bathrooms, definitely have pest (roaches), dish washer leaks and also ceiling leak. This is 2nd management since I've been here (6 months). The price is good for all bills paid (some months), love the trash service and good neighbors.
This complex is conveniently located near the medical center, Galleria, and downtown Houston. The overall exterior of this complex is average. A facelift is much needed but for the price, you can't beat it. The interior recently received an upgrade so its much more appealing on the inside. If this sounds like a place for you, welcomw to the neighborhood.
I would not advise anyone to move to these aprtments, they have trash everywhere, something is always broken, an it is highly embarrasing to have company on the property. Tenants leave trash out all day long, wash rooms are filthy and they don't answer the phones in the office, not to mention the amount of pet droppings throughout the facility. Also the parking is horrible and there is no lighting in the parkinglot.
Hello, I am sure that you are all receiving all type of reviews. However, I am just blessed to have a place to stay because someone may have it worst than me. I think that everyone would like to either live comfortably or be a million. Our apartments is fairly decent, but every complex has its ups and downs. Several things could be changed, but change is part of life and everywhere. I would like a hot-tub and personal balcony to have lodge chairs and sip on Long Island Ice Teas. Haha! That's my review.
Locations location location eveything is within your reach
Looks can be deceiving. These apartments are located in a nice, quiet neighborhood of Meyerland but the apartments are anything but nice and quiet. The apartments do not have gates so anyone can come in and out of the property at all times of the night. This is probably why someone was able to steal my purse when I was doing laundry one night and take off without a problem. Speaking of laundry, the machines are constantly broken and when you ask the leasing office for help, they only ask you to call the phone number on the washing machine to have it fixed. Also, the machines you are supposed to use to put credit on your card to use the washing machines is also always broken. If you were in the middle of a spin cycle and ran out of money, your clothes are going to stay wet until the morning. If you need THAT machine serviced, they also ask you to call the company yourself. The bathroom fan made a terribly loud noise all the time and was never fixed. Needless to say, I did not have the best experience in these apartments. Save yourself a major headache and look elsewhere.
