New Move-In at Bellawood
My experience moving into this apartment has been great so far. The apartment is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The location is convenient and close to everything I need. The leasing process was easy and very fast, I was able to move in less than a week. Kassandra , Laura, and Rochelle have helped me numerous times with whatever has to be done. Without a doubt they are the best team for an office staff. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to move here and would recommend it to others.

Wonderful
I was looking for apartment. I came across bellawood knew I had to make some time to stop by. I did just that and was beyond happy with the customer service given by the whole staff. Highly Recommend!!!
I must say this was the most painless move EVER. Kassandra and Laura are amazing. The move- in process was stress free. The property itself is very clean and manicured and I love my apartment. I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay, It's also very reasonable price wise.

I needed to move into a place very quickly and Kassandra made it happen. She worked diligently to make sure that everything was submitted in a timely fashion and I was able to get approved and moved-in in no time. I appreciate how nice, genuine, and considerate she was. Best apartment around
Let's just talk basics. The apartments are quiet safe clean and the maintenance is quick. Thats really all we care about when looking for an apartment right? Yeah the office is important too but thats cool cause this front office is poppin. Anything I need I can just walk in and they hook me up. I get curtesy calls when important dates come up and I even got my own parking spot. Can't be beat! The neighbors are cool too its like your own community everyone watches out for each other.

Quiet & Convenient
The two years I've spent living at Bellawood Apartments have been a treat. The grounds are well kept, most units are updated, and the location on Veterans Blvd leaves you minutes away from anything you could possibly need. Friendly but quiet neighbors and a leasing, management and maintenance staff at the top of their game are just added perks. I'll be glad to call Bellawood my home for years to come.

I love it here!

Hidden Gem
This property is really a hidden gem. With the shortages in staff everywhere, you can tell some places are struggling with overworked employees by their demeanor, but from when I called to when I came in, bellawood was different. The lady I talked to was professional but also relatable and fun. She really seemed like she loves the property and was knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. We didn't need an appointment, so we walked in and Sydney greeted us like we were old friends. Martha showed us around and was friendly as well. We were given all of the right information for when we are ready to decide. In these hard times, we appreciated Sydney and Martha's kindness.

It felt like we were home.
The 3 bedroom apts are spacious with great closets. The staff and maintenance team are courteous and great. The location of Bellwood apts is great, near a park and grocery/shopping areas. Near I-10 and on a main road Veterans. It is a great place living with family. We would recommend these apartments.

Loving it so far
I have been living at Bellawood Apartments for almost 8 months now. I really love my apartment. It's my first apartment so I wanted to make sure it is a safe area. It's updated with great flooring and backsplash in the kitchen. The maintenance and staff are very nice and helpful. Very close to the park, shopping (you can literally walk there) and about 8 minutes from the airport. The property itself is clean and I get along with my neighbors. It's quiet for the most part with occasional music from my neighbors but it doesn't bother me and it is not really loud. The only downside is the parking because it's very limited at night if you pay for your reserved spot. I didn't mind paying the extra fee for my own spot, but if you have company over, make sure they come over before 10 pm. lol

Just FYI all these great reviews are because the property gives away free money (via a laundry card) for reviews. Lived here 3 years, will be moving because I’m sick of my apartment reeking of weed because my neighbor smokes it all day.

I Love my apartment!!!!
I’m so in love with my apartment! I have an updated model with hardwood floors and washer and dryer inside my unit! The office staff Marta, cindie, and sibney is so nice and very helpful!!! It’s also very peaceful with peaceful neighbors and everything! I love the fact that everything is in close proximity!

Quiet place to be
This place is quiet and I feel safe, even though the gates never work. Parking sucks, but since I don't feel like im going to get robbed or assaulted, I am okay with parking further away sometimes. The office and maintenance are great. They really take pride in keeping the community free of undesirable people and the grounds are always maintained. My apartment is cute and updated but I wish I had a washer and dryer. Some apartments do, but mine doesnt. Overall, you cant beat the location and area for the price you pay.

Excellent place to live
I have lived here since 2015 when I moved from Ft. Lauderdale for grad school. I got the place without ever visiting, so I had no idea what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is spacious, all my neighbors have been great, its quiet and clean, and the staff is amazing. Mrs. Cindy, Mrs. Julie, and everyone are just great!

Do not live here
I moved to this apartment complex 2017 paid my deposit for $300. I didn’t have a plug in the bathroom so you can imagine how frustrating that was. I had to ask for them to place one and they didn’t do so until my 2nd year there. The rent also went up and they do not tell you that you have to pay to wash and dry your clothing. It is only 2 wash rooms on the campus and all equipment is never working on time. Upon leaving this complex I inquired about my deposit and they mentioned that I would receive it back if everything was checked out due to minor wear and tear. I was there for 2 years and not once did anyone offer to come clean the carpets at all. Saying that to say this. A month after leaving I receive a letter stating I wouldn’t get my deposit due to PET URINE AND STAINS ON THE CARPET! I NEVER OWNED A DOG EVER! CAT EITHER! When I called to inquire about this they claimed there was nothing they could do because of the stains on the carpet and the smell. I thoroughly cleaned my apartment upon leaving and moving 2 hours away. I paid rent on time. Never caused problems and this is how they repay me. Do NOT live here.

Bug Issue
Bug issue. Since I've moved here I have been having a bug issue in the apartment. When I have talked with staff about it, I am told that I will be added to the spray list where the exterminator comes out once a week to treat the apartments on the list. The problem continues to persist. When I inform management about it, they seem annoyed and have been argumentative. For the price I pay, this should not be a recurring issue.

Great place to live
I moved from out of state for the first time to go to University and I was in search of a place outside New Orleans that was nearby, cost effective, and safe. I cannot say how great of an experience I am having with Bellawood Apartments! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The apartment was extremely clean upon arrival. I had to have one minor thing fixed and they came right away with no issue. The grounds are kept up very nicely. I highly recommend Bellawood Apartment Homes.

Great Place to Live

Beautiful place
Me and my husband have been living in here for almost 6 years now. We are very happy that we moved in Bellawood Apts as it is more spacious compared to where we used to stay. The office ladies are always friendly and there whenever you need help and offcause the maintenance staff they always on point. I'm actually glad to call this place my home and I will definitely recommend it to others.

I love my new place !!! It’s so peaceful , the landscape is always nice and kept up and the people in the office is so sweet . Maintenance is prompt with any problem reported , if any at all . I recommend anyone looking for a place to know this is definitely one u should keep in mind !!!!

Perfect!!!!
I absolutely love living here. My apartment is so comfy. I really feel at home. The hard wood floors are beautiful. Large walk in closets. Big bedroom. Huge pool. Family friendly environment. Staff is super friendly, whatever need or concerns you may have they help out immediately. Convenient location. This apartment home is really a great place to live. I’m so happy here.

Lazy staff
I’ve complained several times about my loud neighbors and they’ve done nothing. When I call to complain, they seem annoyed. This has been a problem for a year now. For the price we pay, this shouldn’t be a reoccurring problem.

Great place to live
Nice place to live. Very clean and also quiet. I would recommend this apartment to anybody. The price is good. Love the swimming pool

Great Complex,with Wonderful Staff
We were at Bella Woods in Metairie for 14 months,and Loved it.We moved to help family and really miss it.The staff Julie,Cindie,Joanna,and Joyce,are super special people that really treat you with kindness.That is rare nowadays.Julie manages the complex excellently,and keeps the apts as well as the grounds maintained the way they should be.We Can't say a bad thing about our time at Bella woods.Maintenance requests are handled swiftly.Also the Dumpsters are never overflowing because they are emptied regularly,unlike most places.Dont hesitate to call the sweet ladies at Bella wood,they are a Blessing.

Great Apartments
The Bellawood Apartments are a really nice place to live. This is my first time renting an apartment, and my experience has been great so far. The facilities are very well kept, the community is nice, and the management staff is very helpful and accommodating.

My First Home
This is my first ever apartment and I didn’t get the opportunity to come visit before I rented. I don’t regret it! I loved it the moment I walked in. Maintenance and management are so kind and welcoming. They pretty much know everyone that lives here and they keep the apartments well maintenanced. I’ve only been here a short period but it’s quiet and I feel very safe, always. It’s close to everything you can need in the area and New Orleans! Would be a great decision, if made by anyone.

Awesome place to live !
Bellawood was my first place/home. When I initially began looking for an apartment, I read the reviews for a number of apartments that I was interested in. The reviews for Bellawood apartments stood out the most to me. I’m happy I made the decision to move here. I’ve been here for a year now and don’t plan on moving until I purchase a home. The management team is very pleasant, professional and helpful. The maintenance team is quick with completing work orders. Bellawood neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Overall my experience have been great here. -only negative the appliance are outdated

Great customer service
Joyce was super professional. She made feel so at home during the apartment tour. She was very patient and helpful with giving any thorough information that i needed to know about Bellawood apartments. I would refer everyone to come speak with her if they have any questions.

Love it
I love my apartment! It’s so big and spacious. It doesn’t just feel like an a apartment it feels like a home. The property is always really clean and quiet too. I feel so safe here. Ask for Joyce in the rental office. She’s so sweet and patient. She’ll take her time and make sure she can find you a unit that suits your needs.

I just recently moved to the NOLA area, and finding an apartment was a huge concern for me. I heard about Bellawood through a friend who had previously moved there and I can confidently say that it was a great choice. Ms. Cindie was very instrumental in my decision I’m choosing Bellawood. Just super sweet and very helpful, which I love about the management here. The location for me is perfect, as it’s only a short walk from Lafreniere park, a few miles from my work, and nearby plenary of shopping and food. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a place around Kenner and the West side of Metairie.

I'm a current resident at the Bellawood apartment homes and I must say it is absolutely the place to live. I’ve lived in many apartments throughout my life and this apartment is by far the best I’ve lived in. The environment is naturally soothing. The grounds are kept very clean from trash which is much appreciated. The large shaded trees and plant life adds more of a nature feel, making the location great for people who like the great outdoors, like me. My house is amazing compared to my last apartment, there is so much more space in the one-bedroom apartment here than my last home. I love the interior design the most. In my home there is both tile floor and plush carpet. The light fixtures are perfect for dim lighting and for bright usage. The plumbing works well and the amenities inside are great. I couldn’t ask for a better apartment. Bellawood apartment homes is where it’s at!

The maintenance team is excellent!
Although I have only been here a week, so far so good. I reported a few small issues to the office and within hours it was handled. I came home and everything was fixed. Not only that, but I thought the boxes and bags I had all around the apt (still unpacking) was going to be moved around to do the work, and to my surprise, I found everything exactly where I left it. The office staff (specially Lauryn) is super professional and very responsive to my questions and/or concerns. The property is very quiet, and the apartments are very clean, not to mention everything you need is at walking distance (great park, shops, the highway, schools, the airport, restaurants, etc...).

I love Bellawood!
I have moved here for around 2 months. And so far so good! Especially weeks ago, I had a problem with the front window blinds. The maintaining team are always fast and helpful. They set up a brand new blinds for me. To my surprise, it's free. I just can not believe it! I am so happy with Bellawood!
