Property Ratings at Riverside Apartments of Metairie
Me and my boyfriend moved here in October, and we are still here waiting to get out. They want $1000 to break the lease which is not fair. These apartments are nasty, rat infested, and the water is cold every night. Our first week in here we seen a huge rat in the kitchen, and nothing has been done about it. The management is very unorganized and disrespectful. The fact that we haven't stepped foot into the kitchen for weeks because of the rats is sad. I advise y'all to stay away from these apartments.
I didn’t move in on my move in date. The first day I moved in the air wasn’t working nor the toilet . It took them 2 months to fix the air and I constantly called I had to but window units . They never fixed the toilet. One day I come home my entire apartment is flooded so I had to live to another apartment which the manager NICOLE charged me . These apartments are filled with mildew, mold, rats, cats surrounding your house and bad sewer problems. They don’t fix anything the manager is disrespectful. The second apartment they moved me into bathroom roof came in and they never fixed it I couldn’t bath in the bathroom nor use the toilet bc of the roof PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT
Please get someone new to answer the phone. Attitude is terrible and miserable.
My toilet and sink was back up for weeks and the smell was horrible! I had to leave out with my kid to stay by my mom's until THEY decided to come fix things!!! The animals are ridiculous! They have cats meeting coming up the steps, the 'posum walking along the rooftop near the doors, the landscape is dreadful, the same buildings always catch fire, the crime rate is high, too many gang members hanging on the corners, they don't tell you about how to get through to on call after hours, they don't clean out the apartment after the previous person leaves, the apartments have a old smell that seems to never go away, the assigned parking seems to never matter to the neighbors/visitors, they don't tell the neighbors about extremely loud music at late hours every weekend, Taylor who works(ed) in the office almost never tell Nicole (manager) the important info passed on to her causing confusion. If you have kids it's not safe nor sanitary! STAY AWAY!!
I’m begging y’all don’t move here Plz read !! Big Rats ,fleas ,roaches, mold, things don’t get fix if u don’t harass them everyday and still some things won’t get fix .they have a big electrical problem outside so it’s pitch black outside
Omg this was my first apartment and I wouldn’t advise anyone to move her they don’t fix NOTHING you would have to keep calling them the lights don’t work have BIG RATS AND ROACHES this is very unhealthy for living
Apartment was not ready when it was time to move in took two weeks after actual date to get in the apartment never answer the phone when they do its rude and never greet properly really all over the place
Please stay away. They never fix anything here. My AC has been out for a year and they only supplied me with one small window unit. There’s always gangs of men hanging out in the front of the buildings selling drugs and shooting dice. There are rats the size of kittens everywhere. None of the pools work. The laundry rooms are filthy and always smell like urine. Everyone in the management office is rude and they will NEVER repair anything. No matter how clean I am, I always have roaches in my apartment. They will only send pest control if you ask, and that’s just a maybe. The girl who works the front desk only knows her name. There’s so many young men who hangout 24/7 and management doesn’t do anything about. At least once a week, there’s raw sewage bubbling up from the sidewalks. Wish I could rate 0 stars
Please stay away from these apartments. Its constant hanging out in the front of the building, especially believe it or not close to the office. The laundry rooms are the main hangout for marijuana smoking. Extremely loud music constantly.
Nicole has come in and cleaned up this community very well. She gets it done when told. We no longer have to wait and as a tenant WE come first and she puts us first. Best manager yet. Thank you Nicole....
These are some seriously crappy apartments. Currently have had no hot water in 5 days. In the past I have gone months with a broken air conditioner, leaking faucets, and other serious problems. Three years ago, under the previous management, it was fine. But things have gone downhill FAST since 2016. I am just counting down the days till my lease is up. Again, DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Lived there a few years ago and it was horrendous! We constantly needed things fixed in our apartment and no one ever did anything!!! We had a mice issue where they were coming down through the kitchen cabinets. Office management ignored it and never did anything to fix the issue. Our refrigerator was broken and we constantly were asking to have it fixed or replaced and they never did. To top it all off, the shared balcony had rotted wood and while I was walking, my leg went through and I almost fell to the carport below. What did management do? Oh, they put a piece of plywood over the hole and never fixed it.
Before I moved here, I read a lot of the comments that were posed. So, originally, I was a bit nervous to move in here. But I took a chance, and did it anyway. I've been living here at Bellemont for about a month and a half now, and I've had no regrets so far. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. I've only requested one repair so far, and it was completed within 48 hours. Now if anything changes, I'll be sure to leave a comment on that too. But, as of now, I really like living here. I would advise anyone to stay here. Bellemont is pretty great in my book.
I lived there for the entire year and would not send anyone here. This place will either have you living in fear of the consistent crime within and out of the apartment complex, or you will die for the black mold they dont properly remove from the apartments. Dont come here if you have children or care about life. If you are a common criminal, this place will welcome you with open arms with every drug sold throughout the complex, illegal temp plates for your vehicles, and lot of gun and physical violence. This place needs to be shut down and built under new management
The staff has always been nice, the apartments are located around everything you need, and the 1 bedrooms are spacious. On the other hand, the outside of the complex isn't appealing at all, but before you sign your lease they'll tell you about the future "improvements" so ignore the "progress". The laundry facilities, which are always broken, only take money cards. Now, to fill your money card you must go to the office, which is only open M-F from 9-5, so this is inconvenient for those who work M-F 9-5. Your assigned parking spot is never available for you. The pools are always green. Hopefully, you're a handy person because if something needs to be fixed (emergency or not), you'll do better fixing it yourself. I've put in multiple work orders for things like a kitchen wire sparking, air condition broken, doors slipping off hinges, cracked ceilings, electric sockets that stopped working, hot water not working and more. I've only been here since January 2015, not even a whole year.
Live for over a year now. GREAT LOCATION very affordable . Landscape isn't the best but they keep it clean. Lots of children live around her but no bother .
I love the place it is really nice the people are nice and it is a nice city
