Western Hills/ Ridglea is a populated area about 10 miles west of Downtown Fort Worth. This suburban neighborhood is popular for commuters as it’s bounded to the west by Interstate 820 and to the north by I-30. While the majority of town consists of residential areas, commercial developments dot the area too, especially along Camp Bowie Boulevard. Expansive community parks and a golf course are located within the neighborhood’s limits as well. Parks and trails along Clear Fork Trinity River and Walnut Creek provide residents with additional outdoor recreational opportunities. Renters have a variety of rental options in affordable to moderate price ranges. Outside of Western Hills/Ridglea, residents have access to all of the excitement offered by Fort Worth, including places like Kimbell Art Museum and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

Property Ratings at The Carmen
They have issued a 10pm curfew for adults and 7:30pm curfew for kids. And if you do not follow it you will be fined $150. The absurdity.
No spa they have a pool but it's closed all the time they closed it the 2 week in June and still not open and it the end of July They have a gate but never work always need fixed. Parking light not good alot and I mean a lot of them out will not fix
1st Management is not professional at all .They change Mangers like you take out the trash the staff is inconsistent as well you never know who is maintenance or if there's maintenance at all or who you WILL be paying your rent to one while they were using a staffing agency. the water is always off at least twice a month. the A.C./ Heating unit is alway out. The pipes burst and flood the units often also These apartments were damaged by 02-21 winter storm they cut out the walls looking for burster pipes leaving the tenants exposed to Outside elements and critters this was like this until the end of 12-21. It was never really repaired they patch the walls up and went on. the apartments are still flooding from time and the tenants are left with out water sometime over a weekend.when the exterminator or any kind of vendor comes they give your key to them and allow them access with out giving you notice. The pool was never opened not even before Covid the parking lot is damaged really bad ground cracked up old wreck cars on the property the security gate never worked the grounds are not kept up. I Personally know someone that live is this place for three years .This place is trash please please PLEASE Consider everything before choosing this place there are two othe properties ran by the same company if you research you will find them the names have change almost every three years.
I've lived here for a year and a half now but only because I don't have a car to go look at other places and it's not that bad living here no one bothers you and yeah I did have a problem with roaches but it's under control now but I am ready to move to a house now
I called before I came into the office and stated that I wanted to take a tour of the one bedroom and what is a good time to come in , the lady said anytime is good so I said okay I’m coming in right now be there in 20 mins , got there and she’s like the apartment won’t be available to view for another 20 mins I said okay..so I sat and talked on the phone with my friend next thing I know it’s 45 mins later (conversation with my friend was really good lol ) and I’m still waiting so I was like I’m getting ready to go so I left , I feel like they should had told me that someone was in there doing something to the apartment or told me to come back but instead I just sat there nobody came and checked on me she could have at least went over prices with me or something , then it was a man outside chasing a car
These apartments are the most under maintenanced place I've ever lived in the water lines are constantly leaking they take weeks to get to repair even when they do they resort to the cheapest way possible so plan on having the same leak in a few days to weeks the roaches are also terrible plan on bombing once a month plus having them spray , oh and if you love having your family and friends over they only allow that 3xs a week of they want to visit more then that or your caretaker etc. They have to park on the access rd if parking is available or walk further to park to avoid being towed and this stuff is just the minor stuff that's being mentioned .
lies, lies nothing but lies! and more lies! they are all sugar and smiles until you turn your back then it all changes! don't believe a word they say when it comes to your rental agreement work orders for repairs get over looked and marked as completed no matter how often you report it. and they tend to lose your rent payment and blames something else for it happening. and still expect you to pay the late fees!
Talked to a lady there the other day and set up an appointment for the following day to see an apartment. Drove 40 minutes to get there to then had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show up past the scheduled time to find out that they apparently had to no apartments to show. And on top of that there were 5 cop cars at an apartment complex, and when asked about it they said that they're there a lot because they have some trouble people and not to worry. If there are 5 cop cars there for one incident.... I don't think one should not be concerned. Overall disappointing.
First they lose our rent check and then try to blame it on everyone else but themselves. I put in 3 or 4 different work orders for various things around the apartment and they never once did one thing about it. Our closet door literally fell off the hinges one day without even being touched. They left a note on the door saying they would come change the fire alarms and a month later and still nothing has been done and one of our firealarms stopped working. Plus the ladies in the office are just plain rude.
Staff needs to stop writing reviews to make this place look good. It's nothing like those two reviews say. I currently live in Stratton Park Apartments of Fort Worth Texas. My decision to move here was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made when choosing an apartment. When I first moved in I had a huge gnat problem in the apartment itself before I even moved one box in. I told them and they said they recently had someone apart and it should be ok after a week. I had to go get spray myself and take care of the problem before I moved my stuff in. I've lived in questionable areas before but none as bad as these. I have one neighbor who loudly fights with his girl as she's kicked down the front door to get in then all I could hear is the scuffle and her screaming bloody murder. I called the cops and they never showed up even after my 3rd call wondering where they were. Then the neighbor below them are drug dealers. I get woken up by them walking along the rocks by my window several times within 10 minutes. People have shown up screaming for them to hand over $1500 or tell them where someone is. I get woken up every other morning by people arguing about their drug deals around 4 am to 6 am. I've tried talking to the apartments and they don't even act like they care. Tell me to report to the police but they don't come when I call them either. I've walked by people on their patios smoking weed and their on site laundry has been out of order for about a month. They are trying to revamp the apartments by painting but the crew just leaves their trash all over the place and spills paint on ground and doesn't clean it up. They also plugged their machine into my outlet on my porch using my electricity. I sometimes can't park in a parking spot cause people leave their trash like old garbage cans or laundry baskets full of panties and bathroom stuff just sitting out there with no one around. They have broken down cars with flat tires that never move just collecting dirt. And their gate is broke every other week. I've had some kids try to open my door while I was home and I told the apartments again they just said pretty much to make sure it stays locked. Like I do t know that! I hear sirens going off all the time and see police and fire trucks light up the apartment at least once a week. I really wish they would just let me out of my lease so I can go somewhere safer and cleaner! Wish I could post negative stars rating.

I have been living here for almost 8 yrs. I this time I have enjoyed the suburban style lifestyle that surrounds me. the property is kept clean and well kept. I have always felt safe and have always felt the staff handled issues in a timely manor. the property has undergone a series of improvements to improve the lifestyle. Pool area is kept clean and now has a BBQ area for residents to use. just minutes away from many resturaunts and easy access to shopping with the use of public transportation It is definitely the perfect place to call home either short term or long term
I recently moved into country place apartments this past June and I'm loving it here! Though there were a few non-disclosed things about our apartment in the beginning, overall the atmosphere and neighbors here are amazing!
