DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR THIS APARTMENT UNTIL YOU SEE IT. They come back with $150 in fees even if you do not sign a lease. They do not make you aware of this until they decide to bill you. DO NOT RENT HERE. the apartments are low quality and the staff are unaccommodating.
The only problem we have had is some things still need to be done by maintenance, otherwise we love it here!
I had a great experience with the staff at the office yesterday. Everyone is super friendly. I have lived here for nearly a year, and every time I've needed assistance, I've received prompt service. I appreciate it!!

The area is convenient and very pleasing to be at. Very quiet. The setup of the complex is different and beautiful.
Decent rent prices and good location. The amenity fees and community utilities are way too high for what is offered. Most amenities were barely open, the pool was hardly cleaned and ended up being dirty and warm most of the summer. The exorbitant water bill due to over watering grass in a high plains desert was a little ridiculous.

It's clean and quiet. We have not had any problems receiving packages, with the parking or any neighbor. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

The apartments are very convenient to the Belmar area and beyond. The complex is clean and welcoming. Claire's apartment was in beautiful condition and if a repair was needed, the repair was taken care of in a very timely manner. She also liked that she could pay and have an assigned parking spot close to her home.
Me and my boyfriend felt very welcomed when going in for our tour. ALEXIA was AMAZING. She was very thorough and showed us everything and spot the apartment complex has to offer! she answered every question and was very kind (compared to many other leasers) she made it very enjoyable & fun as apartment hunting should be ??

The area of it is beautiful...very quiet neighborhood yet with the stores a few blocks away gives you down town vibes.
I would still recommend this community. It is a beautiful place to live.
Michael and his staff are very attentive. Gerald (Maintenance Technician) is very friendly and willing to talk and listen to just about any topic and is very effectively efficient about service requests; him and Sisco make a great team. Keri is always greeting me with a smile and willing to get to the bottom of issues and see what solutions can be had when problem solving is needed. This team does a GREAT job with maintaining this property to the best of his/her ability. If a problem arises, they’re quick to take care of it.

From what I've seen on this one visit, the property and the one unit I was in are well maintained, parking is abundant, close to the Belmar shopping district.

I do like the apartments they are nice spacious great community great location but you also have some drawbacks to your complex they are very pricey and you say they are remodeled but they have issues patches on the walls the whole water thing how long it took to get the bathroom fixed so there's positives and negatives I do tell people about the apartments I told him they are clean good community and close to everything

Ac unit doesn't keep apartment cool in the summer. Heating is not consistent with the thermostat.
rental values are higher than the surrounding area with similar amenities, also noise levels are high and neighbors can get away with it, even when reporting the incident the neighbors don't care.
Too pricey for such a small space and continues to go up. The treadmills were always under maintenance and so I quit using the gym. Paying extra money for amenities that you never get to use is unreasonable. I hated the noisy neighbors and their dogs who like to bark all through the night which really sucks if you have a job that requires you to work at 5am. I finally got away from apartments and hope to never live in one again.
DO NOT under any circumstances waste your money here. I cannot wait until my lease is up. Garbage is strewn about, children unsupervised constantly ruining common areas, dogs loose and off-leash even after multiple complaints, dogs barking constantly on people's terraces, can't even turn on my heat when I want to (was told to run an electric heater), ant problems after repeated sprayings, peeling Formica countertops, I asked for an updated apartment with no carpeting and got shitty 10-year-old carpet and my apartment wasn't even clean when I moved in. I had to clean the bathroom exhaust fan (caked with years of lint and god knows what else) and my living room ceiling fan was gross. This place is a total racket. The grounds at night are very poorly lit and unsafe, the parking is a joke, bug infestations, you name it this place has it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ETA: After either hearing about my review or responding to one of my community posts, I had the displeasure of speaking with the current manager of the complex (Karlan) who went on to go on a 20 minute tangent about how unfair my repeated complaints and community posts are, how hard her job is and how she's been in customer service for over 20 years (not so sure about that) and that they have done everything in their power to address my issues, etc...basically what the call came down to is I am a big meanie and they can't help me. I could barely get a word in edgewise which I think was the goal...you know, to not actually listen to the ONE PAYING THE RENT!!!!!!! Awesome....

Outside areas are not consistently cared for throughout all seasons. The mail box areas are visably filthy and dirty. The cables on the buildings are not attached well and are sagging. It looks bad and sloppy.
Affordable living but upon move in many of my maintanence requests have been ignored or minimally fixed. The promptness of maintanence since change of management has improved though.
These apartments were obviously rushed in the renewing process. The textures ugly, theyre not painted well, the water temperature in the shower goes in intevals of super hot to super cold etc. The neighboors have no respect and make noise till 2am from thursday to sunday. Theres nowhere to park if you come home late at night. I would recomend these only as a last resort to someone in need or to people who dont want to live in the bad parts of town.
I like the apartemnts, but the rent is a little high for older apartments in this area. Also, the grounds look messy sometimes around the trash dumpster area.
Nice comfortable place to live in... you need to pay more attention to the way garbage been collected, and enforce your policies concerning residents picking their dogs litter
The crime rate in the area is higher than some places I've lived in Denver. The good news is that police are on top of response time, I see them there immediately when something happens. I just worry for my car more frequently than I have in the past.
I have been here almost a month, I love the location and walking trails and shopping near by BUT the carpet in my apartment smells terribly of cat urine, and the barking dogs constantly are a problem. I can't have a quiet evening at home without someone's dog going off. I will probably sign another lease when this one is up but the only reason would be for convenience.
Some of the online reviews are not accurate in rating the Bellmar Villas. The location is great and I haven't had any problems with neighbors. There does seem to be a high turn around of tenants moving in and out. My rent increased 15.5% after one year and this is on a 1-year lease. The area is full of apartments but there are lots of trees, sidewalks, and a major park close by. It is in walking distance to the Bellmar Mall. So close to shops, restaurants, bowling and movies. I love the area, even though traffic and congestion. Otherwise, I'm staying for another year until my rent increases again. They do provide a laundry mat, two pools, one is open all year round, a hot tub, basketball court, kids play area, business center and workout room. The staff are friendly and polite. Repairs are completed in a timely manner. They are continuing to improve the entire complex. Pets are allowed. My only personal issue is when tenants don't pick up the dog mess. Otherwise, the apartments are fine and its close to downtown and the mountains.
The new Management team is gold and have bent over backwards to upgrade my apt and generally assist whenever asked. Under the new rent increases they agreed to bring my apt up to market value (pretty much new everything) and they have. I have been here close to 5 yrs I am still paying under market rate rent, neighbors are kind and mostly families, couples and students. The grounds are clean and have more amenities then most other places. They are dog friendly though not everyone keeps with the leash laws most everyone here do try to keep their pets socialized. Maintenance has never kept me waiting more then a couple hours for "Emergency Issues" and were on top of non-emergency issue no later than early the next day. There is new Apple computers in the office, newly renovated gym, the pools & hot tubs are always clean and the noise regulations are respected and enforced. Mostly it is a live and let live community and I adore all my neighbors. I plan on staying here until I can by my first home.
Belmar Villas are a great set of apartments located right outside the growing Belmar Mall. The location is fantastic, only a mile from highway 6 and the shops and restaurants are within walking distance of any of their many apartments. The apartments themselves are fully stocked with everything except a microwave and in some, a washer and dryer. They are currently renovating their units so many are getting washers and dryers soon. For those that don't have, they have laundry services located on the premises. The amenities are great. The gym and business center are located next to the main office along with two pools and hot tubs each equipped with gas stoves and fire pits. Ideal for pool parties! The staff and maintenance crew are diligent and always do their best to help you. The only downside to the apartments I would say is the issues they occasionally have with key fobs gaining access to the amenities. I would recommend these apartments to anyone!
Haven't had hot water for days, heaters were out last month, electrical outlets out the month before that, CONSTANT maintenance issues and the owners won't do anything to help. Shared laundry room where people aren't respectful and leave their clothes, washers and dryers are usually broken or don't dry completely. Neighbors are loud, dog excrement everywhere, grounds are a mess, parking is a disaster! All this started once Carmel sold it to Griffith's Blessing. The staff listens to complaints but makes promises they don't keep. Can't wait to move out!
