Property Ratings at Belmont at Greenbrier
I toured this location awhile back and it looked as amazing as the staff was nice. I give it a 4 star because of the location. I personally would like to be able to walk around surrounding neighborhoods.
I moved in a few month ago and absolutely love it. The staff is very nice, helpful, and easy to work with(Especially Brian!). They made me feel at home my first day. The apartments are in great condition. For me, the walk-in closets and full size kitchen are a huge plus. The maintenance team is very attentive and fast with fixing any issues I've had. Overall I give the Belmont 5 stars and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, affordable, safe apartment complex.
My family moved in to Belmont at Greenbrier without "physically" visiting the property first. Normally we would never do that; however, the reviews were good and the location was perfect for us. Honestly, we couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff is always helpful and friendly (kudos to Brian and Marlene!), and we feel completely safe here. I don't know how long we'll live at Belmont at Greenbrier, but we're certainly in no hurry to move.
Major shoutout to Belmont at Greenbrier for setting us up with a tour on a day we were coming in from Richmond. We got there at our assigned time and met with confusion as to who we were and what we were doing there. Turns out they rented the unit the week prior (with no comps available for weeks) and didn't find it necessary to call us and tell us not to bother. So glad we made the trip.
Yeah, the property looks okay for it being 11 years old..but the management is awful, the property manager in particular doesn't care about residents at all, will charge you for anything when you move out even if the carpets are due for replacement...oh and bed bugs...this place is a Monet...looks nice from a distance but once you're in it, it's awful.
Top of the line facility with large ceilings, kitchen upgrades, with full size w/d in each unit. All units have a balcony. Although grills are not allowed they have provided 4 units with gazebo's and sheltered picnic tables. The staff is friendly and they are attentive to repair request which are limited. The complex is very large but has a neighborhood feel to it as the management staff have events scheduled for you to meet and greet others. The weight room is a plus, along with the pool table and outside pool. There are times when the security gates might malfunction but for the most part, I am glad that I live here and feel safe even on the first floor.
The staff was amazing one in particular Marilee I really hope I spelled her name right. But she was amazing she's the reason I went down there to have a look after having such bad luck with apartments she really took the time to talk to me and listen to my chit chat. And thanks to her I will soon be a very happy apartment holder of 2bed room 2bath right in our price range and everything we had in mind of wanting and on the first floor( I have bad knees) and all the staff was just so welcoming it was so great I cried from being happy and treated like I mattered where I was going to live. It will be first time living in an apartment and I'm glad we're starting it here looking forward to my time here
This complex is located in Greenbrier so its has lots to offer as far as restaurants, activities, and shopping. The complex common areas, including the club house, pool, and gym are well maintained and staff and maintenance crew the are always responsive and helpful. Compared to other apartments in the area, this complex seemed to be the most well kept and reasonably priced for what you get.
We have lived at this location twice. The first time we lived here, it was fantastic. The staff did everything to make this a great place to live. They would patrol the property and make sure that the grounds looked good. They would make sure that cars that didn't belong on the property were removed and that residents were cleaning up after their dogs. The maintenance was fantastic too. If there was an issue, they would be out within two days to fix it. This was the reason that when we moved back into the area, this was the only place we wanted to live. Unfortunately, when we moved back into the complex, things had changed for the worse. Pet waste is a huge issue. We are constantly seeing large amount of pet waste that has not been cleaned up. Additionally, my dogs have been attacked by other dogs here 4 times in 5 months because other residents are letting their dogs off leash. We have reported each attack to the front office but they don't really seem to care and they don't do anything about it, even though this is a lease violation. The maintenance has also become an issue. The maintenance staff is great and really friendly but it now takes weeks to get anything repaired unless it is categorized as an "emergency". This can be frustrating because you may have to deal with not having something that you are paying rent for. Another issue is that the appliances need to be updated. Other apartments in the area have upgraded to new energy efficient appliances but the appliances here are old, not really efficient, and show a lot of wear and tear.
I have been here for 5 months and have a crazy work schedule. When I work nights I have to sleep during the day and it is so quiet. Office personal are amazingly nice and maintenance are also on point and polite.
My husband and I moved in about three months ago and could not be happier! Our apartment is spacious and cozy. The apartment grounds are beautiful! The staff is so friendly and helpful! Could not be happier!
