Property Ratings at Belmont Station
This place is the absolute worst management in Los Angeles. Communication between management and resident is terrible.Myself and several other tenants complained for several days about the music in one apartment and management refused to help or listen. Management will send notice of working being done at the community and nothing will ever happen. Example the 1st and 2nd floor smell like dog pee for a year and they have not done anything about it . DO NOT MOVE TO THIS LOCATION
Have lived here for years. Living in DTLA there are things you can expect from city life but the tranquil interior of the building and the security guard at the front are top notch. Highly recommend.
We’ve lived here a few years and are waiting on our lease to end so we can move. The common areas are dirty. The neighborhood is noisy with people blasting music, fireworks, parties. The building fire alarms go off every month or so and drives everyone crazy. It’s not what it used to be, especially with all of the amenities closed.
They have reduced security, they refuse to accept packages at the front, resulting in multiple stolen packages. They do not enforce pet policies, allowing animals to roam not on leashes, causing my dog to be attacked. They raise the rent every year, and have removed many basic inspections and offerings. I do not recommend this apartment
Shootings nearby, multiple homeless encampments, multiple burglaries and break-ins (read other reviews below). Do not recommend, look elsewhere.
I've lived here for one month and I am satisfied with every aspect of Belmont. I have a 3 bedroom and each of us got a non-tandem parking spot (which is unheard of for dtwn), also they will sign for packages for you and there is a on-site dry cleaning service. The pool is usually empty and there is a free yoga class week nights in the gym. It's a little gem that is pretty affordable compared to the rest of DTLA. The only thing that could be a little better is parking and entry for guests. There are very few guest spots, and no way to buzz people up.
I love the location of this apartment building because it's not in the center of downtown but literally down the street. Although there has been a couple of mishaps with my packages becoming missing, they do hold your packages for you when you are not home. It's pretty affordable for LA and you still get the awesome amenities. Underground assigned parking is available with no added charge which I thought was pretty standard, but not in LA! They just painted the building and it looks even better!
Love my apartment. I just have a studio but the layout makes it feel so much bigger. Some things break down from wear and tear, but they are fixed immediately. Staff is always helpful.
The apartment complex is nice with a pool, movie theatre room, yoga room, gym, conference room, seemingly 24 hour security. Honestly, The security is over weight and slow. There are 50 units that are section 8 housing, so they definitely don't screen who is living there. They just want the turnover and to raise the rent. There have been multiple burglaries and break ins to cars that are under camera watch and gated. Sounds like an inside job to me. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbor think. Especially if they come home late at night with people. Half of the gym equipment is broken and has not been fixed in months. Kids run rampant and aren't supposed to be by the pool if they are under 14 without supervision, but that goes overlooked. I often see kids ranging from 6-12 years old doing as they please, even cannon balling into the hot tub. Also, people don't seem to clean up their animals feces a lot of the time. In short, of the 3 years I've lived in this place, Our rent has been raised over $400 and we are ready to leave. Use caution went renting here.
Currently renting a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Happy so far, Here is a list of things I observed. Pros: Pool, Jacuzzi, dog park, grills, Fitness Center, nice people, clean room Cons: Limited Visitor Parking (A new sign says: 2 visitors per room per week!) that's ridiculous Limited Guests in Pool (A new sign says: 2 pool guests per room) Not sure how they arrange parking spots, it should be size of vehicle. I have a pretty big car and forced to park in compact. I see a smart car parked in a large parking space. doesn't make sense. The barbecue grills are in the bottom floor where the Dog Park is! That is kind of gross because alot of the times, the dog park smells. Why would I want to cook and eat food there? I have not seen any carpet cleaning since I moved here a couple months ago. dogs have accidents sometimes and if this apartment allows pets, it should maintain the carpets. A lady I talked to said that her apartment was flooded and they refused to replace the carpet. So it started smelling like fungus, so she was going to complain again. Not sure if she eventually got it resolved.
The staff is friendly, 24 hour security does their job, clean apartments ( never seen a bug in 1.5 years), for the amount of families that live here its really quiet. Nice pool and jacuzzi, gym, computer room with internet, movie room, party room everything is always super clean and in nice shape. Maintenance fixes all your problems..basically couldn't ask for much more. The only thing that sucks is that theres no walking places nearby but you can easily take the bus or if you have a car and can drive 5 minutes to get to dtla. I would recommend the belmont station :)
I love Belmont Station. The managers are noce and very helpful. All the residents are pretty cool.. overall its a nice vibe and a nice place to live. I give it a 4/5 stars. It would get the last star if they can fix their elevator issue. I feel like the elevators are down atleast once a month. But it still doesn't really bother me too much.
