The King of Prussia/Norristown region lies approximately 20 miles to the north and west of Philadelphia. The extensive development that this area has gone through since the 1960's has made it a perfect place for professionals seeking worthy employment prospects, without having to resort to living in the big city.
The Valley Forge/King of Prussia area stands as a perfect example of an edge city, a situation where the most prosperity and growth can be seen less in the urban center (in this case, Philadelphia) and more in the areas on its periphery. King of Prussia/Norristown lays claim to the largest shopping mall in the United States, King of Prussia Mall, as well as many of Montgomery County's largest employers. Interstate 276 bisects the area, making it easy to commute for work or leisure.

Property Ratings at Belmont Village Apartments
It's a beautiful community-almost perfect. I highly recommend to friends.
Good closet space, felt like home even though it was short-term. Kitchen appliances are updated
love this apartment complex. any issues are handled quickly. maintenance workers are very quick to resolve any issues. the office ladies are wonderfully
Thank god we visited the unit before we considered doing anything. The leasing lady wasn’t very pleasant and seemed like we were wasting her time. We went to a unit, it looked old and unkept. Everything looked outdated. The leasing lady told us the major update were the rugs. The unit looked nothing like the pictures.
Belmont Village really is KOP’S best kept secret. My boyfriend and I have been living in our 2 bedroom apartment for just about 6 years now. When looking for apartments, we knew we wanted to live in KOP due to where were working and how convenient KOP is to pretty much everything. But looking for something affordable and somewhere with at least 2 bedrooms was almost impossible, until we found Belmont Village. Hidden at the end of Ross Rd, tucked away in a very safe area, just a walk away from Bridgeport—which has wonderful restaurants and even a new brew pub. Not to mention a brand new Target and at least 2 Wawa’s within 2 minutes of the apartment. We love our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom-a large master bedroom and a great sized 2nd bedroom, which is perfect for our small home office. With an open living room and kitchen, we have enough room to have friends over and not feel super cramped. Plenty of parking spaces, heat and hot water included, locked security doors to each building, quiet neighbors, dedicated laundry for each building, additional storage for each unit, a very nice pool and a wonderful management and maintenance team (Ashley and Randy are the best!). When people ask how I can afford to live in King of Prussia, I let them know it’s easy to have it all when living at Belmont Village.
I have lived at Belmont Apts for over 5 years. There were only a couple times of loud neighbors, and the office handled it immediately. This has been a quiet, peaceful place and I have enjoyed living here. Updates are done in the apartments as needed and they are well-maintained. Having laundry facilities in each building is perfect. Snow has been handled swiftly each winter, so parking is not even a worry. The pool is a good size, with many chairs/lounges to use. I enjoy my balcony so much, with trees providing nice accents. It is so close to shopping, restaurants, mall, and easy access to highways.
I lived at this apartment community for 3 years and had a postive experience for all 3 years. I lived in a two bedroom with a roommate for the first year and then moved to a one bedroom by myself. The office staff was excellent from the very beginning and made our initial move in process very quick and easy and was extremely helpful while I was deciding what to do when my roommate relocated. They are also extemely understanding when issues arise with nosie or other complaints about your neighbors and quickly respond to all requests. The maintenance staff is the best! Every request I made was responded to very quickly, most times the same day. The guys do a great job plowing and salting in the winter. The complex is conveniently located close to all major highways and just a mile from the Norristown Transportation center. Cops frequently patrol the area and I never felt unsafe in my apartment or the parking lot. The pool is a great feature for the summer months and is well kept. The grounds and common areas are well maintained. My only issues while living here werecigarette smoke and noise. Most of my neighbors were smokers and I had a problem with the smell of smoke coming into my apartment even though I do not smoke. I talked to the office about this and they made a lot of adjustments to my unit to try and it keep it out. I had issues with a noisy neighbor when I first moved into my one bedroom but the office was very helpful in reminding them to keep it down and it stopped after a few weeks. My roommate and I moved into this complex initially because of the location and because they had the most reasonable rent prices for the area. After my pleasant experience there the first year I elected to move into a one bedroom and stayed for 2 more years until I bought a home. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great value in the King of Prussia-Norristown area.
I found a job in PA and couldn't deal with the commute from NJ so I looked for decently priced apartments. I was a bit nervous because it was my first place and I didn't want to have to deal with pest problems or issues with other tenants. I stayed in one of the one bedrooms on the third floor for a year and 2 months. It was pretty nice. I had a balcony, dishwasher, A/C unit, carpeted floors and hardwood in the kitchen. The bathroom had a vent which was a plus. You need a key yo get into any bldg or someone to open the door from the inside. I can't speak for every bldg, but I liked the neighbors in mine. You get a least a smile or a "hi" and "bye". Cons: The A/C unit is in the living-room, so the cool air doesn't travel to the bedroom. I had to turn a box fan on and point it to the bedroom. It gets really hot being on the third floor. Once it reaches 90 degrees, the fan and windows don't help and it gets unbearable. The dishwasher is kinda loud, so I turn it on while I go out. The laundry rm only has 2 machines. On weekends it is always busy. The walls are a bit thin. Every now and then I can hear the neighbors kid crying. A truck comes around to shovel the snow, but there's no where to put most of it, so it ends up blocking some of the parking spots. I worked late so it would be hard to find a spot. I would have to drive around and find a hidden one between 2 SUVs. Thank goodness for a small car. Pros: Heat and hot water free. All you have to pay for is electricity. Access to the pools from Wed-Sun. There's also a lifeguard on duty then. Never had a maintenance problem to comment on that. While I was living here, they updated the windows, sliding doors and paved the parking lot. If you need larger washing machines, there's a laundromat down the road. Complex is near Dekalb pike which has a lot of stores and 10 minutes from the KOP Mall which is huge. But there aren't really sidewalks to walk around. The Super Walmart in the area is clean and not too far. Snow gets shovel around the lot. No pest problem. Clean hallways :) Someone would come once a week and vacuums the bldg stairway. Last note: I cleaned the entire place when I moved out and got my full deposit. I found a better job and moved back to Jersey. If I find a job in the King of Prussia area, I would definite move back.
