Property Ratings at Bennington Park Townhomes
When I first moved here in 2020, I was proud to call this place home. The management was consistent, and although minor issues arose over time, I felt confident they were being handled. However, about a year and a half ago, the original management team left, and we temporarily had new faces in the office (key word: temporarily). For the first three months, they seemed proactive—replacing old appliances, making repairs, and doing minor updates. We also had frequent inspections, which made it feel like they were prepping the property for a sale. Fast forward to my lease renewal period, we were presented with an offer and told that once accepted, we’d be notified when our new lease was ready to sign. Unfortunately, that notification never came, and our lease expired. Due to their negligence, we were forced onto a month-to-month lease, which comes with a $100 increase in rent. Since then, trying to get in touch with anyone for help has been an absolute nightmare. The leasing office is never staffed unless you’re there for a property tour. They provided us with a hotline, but no one answers—only responding hours (or even days) later via text. I’ve emailed them as instructed, and it’s been almost a week with no response. I’ve even been charged late fees because I didn’t want to pay the extra amount I never agreed to. The level of service and communication has completely deteriorated. What was once a place I was proud to call home has quickly become a source of frustration and stress. I hope this situation is rectified soon, but based on my experience, I’m not optimistic.
I have been without a working shower for 2 months and have tried to contact the office continuously. They have locked down the office to appointment only and refuse to answer the phone so I can see what’s going on. I was able to get them on the phone ONE TIME and I asked if I could just get a plumber myself. They said no
When we came in to pick up our keys and unload a few things, we noticed the thermostat was not accurately displaying the temperature inside our unit. At 4pm I walked into the office, and Mark (I believe) immediately came over to assess the situation. While he was there, we pointed out another issue, which he immediately fixed. He had the thermostat installed by the next day when we arrived. Our experience thus far has been exceptional with our new home! Thanks for the awesome service!

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!
This complex allows dangerous dogs to be on the property. Our dog was attacked twice by the same pit bull while we lived there. Management did nothing to evict the woman or protect us (the lease says pit bulls and dangerous dogs aren't allowed). Further, they said I had to pay a fee to break my lease when I wanted to move out of the dangerous situation. If you care about your safety or that of your pets, stay away.
The townhomes are nice and spacous but the office staff leaves quite a lot to be desired. They have 2 properties and the maintenance men from the other property come to Bennington Park Townhomes to ask their maitenance man advice. He is incredibly knowledgable and strives to get everything fixed on the first visit as well as to prevent issues from occurring. He was even willing to walk our dogs for us when we went out of town so that a spare key would not need to be made. We moved out when we purchased a house and had a billing issue upon move out. They called us around July 28th and said we would get one amount refunded but we got a much smaller amount. We then tried to contact the property to see why the charges were assessed. The first time we called they had us call Venturi (their carpet cleaning service) to get more information about the charges. Venturi was unable to provide us with a report so we have been trying to get into contact with the Property Manager but it appears that she is avoiding us. We went into the office and she left early for the day. We left a message that we wanted her to contact us but she hasn't called yet. Corporate doesn't have a phone number to call. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this apartment complex until they completely replace the front office, especailly Lana the Property Manager.
