Property Ratings at Berkshire Coral Gables
I was very fortunate to find an apartment here to rent. Tracy and her team has been wonderful from my transition from Korea to my arrival. The complex is spotless, amenities are unmatched, and staff are ready to help at a moments notice. My only regret was not signing a longer lease.
This community has very spacious layouts and it’s conveniently located near great shopping, entertainment and markets. I got to see various layouts and really liked how much space you get for the value. Highly recommend this community amongst all of the rest in the area.
This building is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. I love my apartment, it's beautiful and comfortable. The building is in a great location. They are pet friendly! My 2 pups love it. Also as a plant lover, I value good lighting I find it very important and they were able to meet all of my needs! The amenities are great clean gym, spacious common area thats really nice. Very friendly neighbors. If you are looking for a spot in a convenient location, pet friendly, well kept with attentive staff. I highly recommend Berkshire Coral Gables!
Beautiful building, spacious units, and considerate neighbors. Everyone is friendly and adheres to COVID protocols. The building is very clean and very safe. Parking garage is secured with a gate and you’re able to drive up to your floor. Tracy in the leasing office gave me a virtual tour of two units, then helped me through the application process. She made the process a breeze, and she was just as helpful when I arrived to move in. Since I’ve been here, the staff in the leasing office have been great. So happy I moved here. :)
I usually don't post reviews, but I had to since it's very difficult to communicate with management. 1) My assigned parking spot often gets taken by an unauthorized vehicle. I call management, It is managed by an off-site call center, who has no power to do anything but relay the message to a courtesy officer. There is no direct communication. 2)The package room is a mess-- there are not enough lockers to hold all packages. As a result, I've already had a few packages gone missing. The solution they had for me? Call amazon and report it. 3)Management is extremely difficult to get a hold of. Very disappointed, as I had high hopes for this apartment.
Too many dogs in the building. Dog pee and poop stains in the elevators & hallways, pet area smells like urine and many residents do not clean up after pets. Occasionally there students running and yelling in the halls late at night. Many dogs barking or whining early in the morning and throughout the day. Problems with Amazon delivery packages. People leave trash in the hallways. Very loud building fire alarms go off about every 1-2 months and usually late at night, usually a false alarm but have to evacuate the building and wait for fire dept to arrive and clear the building before re-entering. Often will find burn holes in my patio furniture from cigarette butts & joints thrown from balconies above. Was great my first two years but in the last two years has been terrible. Rent usually raises 50-100 every year.
I agree with the other review. There is absolutely no concern by the management for the residents. I have had to step over dog crap in the hallways multiple times and every few feet of the hallway carpets are stained with animal urine. The last straw from me was stepping into urine in the elevator!! Forgot about complaining to the corporate office. I've called and emailed twice with no reply. Also, forget about their promises of free guest parking and community "events" when you're meeting with the leasing staff. There hasn't been one event in the year I've leaved here and all the "free" guest parking is taken up by residents who don't want to pay $185 a month for a second space. This place is a joke!!!!
I cant even give this place ONE STAR. I agree with the last review. BY FAR THE WORST BUILDING you can live in. Front desk leasing reps are extremely unreliable. When you initially tour the place they ofocurse tell you about all of their “rules and regulations”. Needless to say, 2 months in, I felt like I was living in a low standard college dorm. I have a toddler and specifically asked about their pool noise, etc. They assured me the keep their noise under control and since my move in, at least once a week my daughter is woken up ny the noise. And NOW they have a resident they say already has an eviction notice but they cant seem to do anything about their dog’s constant barking despite every apartment surrounding (below, beside, above) that unit complain. This experience has been a total nightmare. And to agree with previous post, I have been asking to speak to the property manager by email, in person, and by phone for weeks now with no response.
TERRIBLE! I never write reviews. I’m a pretty laid back person, but I felt compelled to let everyone know how HORRIBLE our experience has been here. This is marketed as a “Luxury” apartment building. Recently a new company purchased the building - I’ve never felt more embarrassed to have company over. On the weekends trash is piled up in the hallways for days - the hallway carpets are never clean (just cleaned them last week finally). They were so stained with dog pee and other misc. stains it was absolutely disgusting. Literally everyone of our guests commented on it. The concierge (there are some very nice people up front) never answer their phone and are extremely unreliable. I left keys with the concierge for our housekeeper while we were out of town. When she came to pick up the dog of course they decided to shut down the office early. We called probably 8 times that morning and no one picked up - needless to say it was a huge headache to get our dog out of the apartment. I would HIGHLY recommend you look ELSEWHERE!!!
