Absolutely HORRIBLE management, rude filthy neighbors, filthy walkways and dog crap everywhere. Management treats tenants like mangy animals. Complex had THE worst reputation in town, straight from officers, paramedic and fire.

Don't let the huge pool fool you. This place makes themselves feel like they are the biggest and the best, but they are far from it. Im surprised that Berkshire wanted to buy this place (use to be called the Luxe) . First off let me tell you how bad the apartments are. You can hear everything above and below you. Every drawer someone opens upstairs to even a cough or a sneeze. You're able to hear the water come down from the pipes behind your sink every time your upstairs neighbor flushes their toilet. Ive been to a lot of apartments in New Braunfels and this is far the worst for noise. This is just one of the bad things. My biggest complaint is the front office. If you are a new resident and you are not happy with this place you can go to the main Corporate website and see that they have a satisfaction guarantee for the first thirty days, if you are not happy you can break your lease and get all of your deposits back. This is their promise that you will love this place. WRONG. I called expecting back my money because I left within the thirty days and I was told I was owed nothing back. After I paid them first months rent AND a thousand dollars for pet deposits and other fees. I was told no. I called and even emailed Alicia the property manager and she told me she would get back to me asap. I haven't heard from her in a week, and every time I call I get their call back line with people who don't even work on the property to just "take a message" It says it very clear on the website that you get all your deposits back. I was even told by two of the front office ladys that i do in fact get all the money I put down. They lied to me. They either pay or give discounts for these high reviews they get because trust me, this place feels like a cheap hotel.

You do not get what you pay for here! This is the most expensive apartments in the area and are not anything as advertised. It is extremely noisy within the apartment and you can hear everything, unprofessional management, who ignore maintenance requests, by just closing them and not responding. Neighbors you can hear all around you, noise in the halls, the “concierge trash” is a horrible bunch of people who are loud and don’t show up until late at night banging trash cans. The buildings are poorly built, they have circuit breakers which constantly go off and turn off power to half the apartment, thin walls, and there is nothing worth living here for at all. Nothing is as advertised with dog parks, walking trails, it’s mostly overgrown weeds. If you are smart you won’t even look here.
I just happened upon these apartments, looking for another complex. When I first looked at them I said to myself, these look expensive, but wanted to look at them anyway. I'm so glad I did. I was greeted by Marissa very nice young lady. She gave me the 411 on the complex and then took me and my granddaughter for a tour. I was very impressed. The apartment has everything I want, I love the brightness from the big windows and door. The kitchen is amazing!! and all the amenities I was looking for. One of my fav is the elevator, I like living on the second floor, but when I go shopping not so much then, but I have that option. And yes I completed my application, and is looking forward to moving in.
My experience upon reviewing the property with a very knowledgeable and personable community director, (Tori G.) was the best of all during my review of all properties that meet my criteria. Without a doubt this property has all of the very best amenities available for luxury living. The adjoining park is just icing on the spectacular property. Tori was very helpful in answering all of my questions. I really appreciate her being able to give specific times and accurate quotes for the cost of my apartment, because so many others will not give a accurate quote until time of signing a lease, due to MARKET changes. I look forward to my tenure at the LUXE as I am sold on the personable staff and the best amenities in New Braunfels at this time!

We went to the Luxe to look into renting one of their apartments. A leasing agent took us around the property and proceeded to tell us "secret" leasing specials that were blatantly on the front of their webpage. We found a specific unit that we were interested in but decided to think about it for a few days before moving forward with the application. The leasing agent called us the next day around 3pm and told us she had a special expiring offer and would hold the specific apartment unit for 24 hrs. Though we were really put off by the sales tactics that cheapened these beautiful apartments, I called her the next morning at 9am to move forward with the application. She quickly said they had already rented the apartment the evening before. With no apologies, valid excuses, or alternatives, she hung up. I called three more times that day and left messages for the manager and have yet to receive a call back. I'm glad we found out about the poor management now, than after signing a year lease!
