Hidden utility fees, poor communication, did not give me any of the access codes for my unit for about a week after my move in date, I had to luckily run into one of my roommates and get it from them. Stolen packages from inside "secure" apartment complex. I gave them the time stamps from package delivery to when I checked (about 20 minutes) And they refused to check cameras. But they used the same cameras to check my roommate when she had a guests over to write her up. Plumbing issues persisted the entire duration of my year here. Wifi is is included but goes down sometimes for days at a time, and the signal fades in and out. We have AC but it's shared across all rooms, so if you have a unit with multiple people you will need to communicate a shared temperature or end up waking up randomly throughout the night with it being cranked all the way up or down if they are fighting over it. If someone reports you for breaking a rule, such as having someone over or being messy, they will not allow you to tell your side, so it really only matters who complains first. "Luxury" apartment that feels more like living in college dorms.
They charge very random utilities charges and do not return the security deposits.
I am so glad I found the Beverly by Common! I am new to the area and this apartment was a winner for me. The location was perfect for my lifestyle as well as the rooftop deck is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Customer Service has been great too with my questions being new to the area/co-living lifestyle. This place cannot be beat!
Terrible management. Unresponsive support. I’ve been on hold about a power outage for 2 hours. They are not responsive for emergencies. And they don’t provide what they say. Living amenities not provided. Whenever there is an emergency or a need for support they are unresponsive. They will leave you to deal with maintenance issues
I currently live at this property and let me tell you it is a disaster. Do not move into this place. Trust me when I say that. There’s no on site property manager and to get things fixed or if you need any form of contact with the company it’s non existent. You have to put in a support ticket which takes average a month for them to get back to you. Even if they get back to you after your response it’ll take another couple of weeks. Parking is horrible. Elevator has been broken for months. In honest company with no consideration for the residents. Living here is your worse nightmare
