A major suburb of Austin, Cedar Park gets you right into the area without having to live in the big city. If you like peace and quiet but don't want to live all the way out in the woods, then Cedar Park is the place to be. It's nice living so close to one of the biggest music cities in America, but you don't even need to leave Cedar Park to take in a great concert. If you want entertainment, check out the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The center plays host to everything from monster truck shows to country and hip hop concerts. Cedar Park is only about 16 miles from Downtown Austin, making this an ideal location for commuters. Cedar Park is considered one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
Cedar Park's claim to fame (besides the H-E-B Center) is the Heritage Oak Tree, a 400-year-old live oak that stands 57 feet tall and is 80 feet around. This massive tree is decorated during the holiday season with over 30,000 lights.

4 years ago when we moved in it was a nice place with good management and running things smoothly. Despite on the good location and a nearby nice trail, I would not move in today. First of all because of the management. People are changing so often in the office what looks like some residents' requests are ignored. Such things as the dumpster and pet waste stations are not clean fast enough so in the summer time you can find smell it all around. The gates are not working properly and it is not secured. Hot tab is not working for 8 months already and they are not planning to fix it. In the dog park (that is a plus for this complex) water fountain is not working for 18 months. The park is dirty and some residents clean it by themselves. Rent prices went up dramatically but service is at the low level. So where is right exchange?

I lived in this complex for 10 months. By far the dingiest management staff I've ever dealt with. (12105) Immediately on moving in I reported that my apartment smelled like old stale smoke or mildew. The first night I stayed there I got so sick from the smell. I removed the air duct cover and the coils were full of mold. One of the office people came in and verified that yes it smelled and they would come clean the vent. They came and cleaned it with some spray because they left the can in the apartment. While doing that they lost the nut that held the cover on. That did not fix the problem. The odor was still present and just as strong. Then she said "oh it must be the flooring". So they had someone come and remove the laminate flooring at the front door. It wasn't the floor. Smell was still there and just as strong. Number 12 is a smoke free building. Come to find out the guy on the 3rd floor was smoking in his apartment and throwing his cigarette butts in my yard. He never stopped and eventually moved out. The smell still remained in the apartment. They refused to address the situation, now they were saying that it was my animals that made the smell. Sorry idiot managers, there is a big difference between animal smell and cigarette smell or whatever the hell was causing this. I fought with them the entire time I lived there. They never admitted it smelled to them. They decided that they wouldn't fix the problem so I moved out of that dump. When I received my move out report the maintenance wrote in bold letters "HEAVY SMOKE SMELL". I do not smoke. Nobody ever smoked in my place and now these idiots are blaming me for the smell. They also stated that I broke the refrigerator drawers. Bite me. They were not broke. When I unpacked all my personal belongings in my new apartment all my stuff smells like that awful apartment. I had to have all my furniture cleaned and slowly worked through most of my clothing. All my coats and jackets have stunk up my new place because I cannot afford to have everything cleaned. I hate this place. And good luck whomever moves into 12105. To management, I am sure you remember me. You know you are wrong. And I will never ever say anything complementary about this complex.

I've lived at Bexley at Silverado, previously Altea at Silverado, for over 2 years now. It has always been quiet, clean, and friendly. The pool is great and everyone is welcoming. I had multiple issues with my AC and with the new management they had it replaced immediately. They also communicate a lot through email to keep the residents up to date on what is happening which I greatly appreciate.

I absolutely love my apartment! We are in the largest 2-br, and the bedrooms are huge! Great bathrooms. The kitchen is a nice size also. Washer and dryer are included! My only complaints with the apartment is that there are hornets EVERYWHERE. The storage is outside in the breezeway. And I only have ONE drawer in my kitchen..one drawer! ONE drawer!! And I didn't notice it until I moved in. It would have been nice if they pointed that out to us. It was very annoying finding a utensil organizer that was small enough for our itty bitty drawer.
