Property Ratings at Bexley Donelson
I have been resident for this apt over three years , I was very happy for the first 2 years after they changed the management everything went to worse the service of the building and the trash in hallways and they did raised my rent 200 over what they have advertises for plus one free month ! That’s not really good business for some clients been there over 3 years and never missed a payment! I just need to be treated fair that’s all ! I will move out when my lease is up for sure and will never recommend this place to anyone

I’ve applied and was approved. However, due to reasons out of my control thanks to the military, I could not move in. I was assured that I’d get back my refund. Nope. It’s been over a month and I’ve spoken to 3 different employees. THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME MY DEPOSITE REFUND…which put me in a bind btw. This is absurd. I do NOT recommend this place. The integrity is not there.

The staff was great and made me feel welcome. Close to restaurants, the airport, and shopping

Thanks so much for sharing your review. It's great to hear that you enjoy living here and that you like the centralized location. If there is anything we can do to make your experience here even better, please let us know.
Like other reviews mention, this property does not have any security or cameras (except cameras on the main office, of course!). No on-sight security person, ever, even during the day. 50% of the parking lot at night is completely dark and there are plenty of ditches and areas people can (and have!) hid in order to break into cars. The hallways/breezeways and stairs are also usually quite dirty, I think they use leaf blowers to get stuff out but I've never actually seen anyone cleaning them. The proximity to the airport, and especially the railroad track, makes the community the absolute loudest apartment I have ever lived in, by far. If you wake up everyday at 6am, you will be fine, otherwise you'll be waking up then anyway because of the Music City Star that goes by at 6am, again at 7, and 8. It has to blare its horn for a good 20-30 seconds because of the crossing on Donelson Pike that it has to go through. It literally shakes the doors & windows in my apartment. All of this is such a shame because my apartment itself is great and it is close to where I need to be for work. I've noticed most people who live here do not renew their lease.

I've been living here for the past 8 months and this has been the worst place I've ever lived. I've had to call the cops on my neighbor for harassing me, there have been 2 car break-ins in the past 6 months MY car got broken into one of the times, and management doesn't do ANYTHING about it. There are NO cameras around the premises besides the front office. They accept government funding AND there is a drug deal going on about every other night. Homeless people roam the apartments it's a nice complex but a TERRIBLE area. Please do not move here. Management is also so creepy. They live on the premises and do not leave you alone every time I go outside they talk to you or try to start a conversation with you and it's extremely uncomfortable since they are there literally 24/7. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE DONT MOVE HERE PLEASE. I wish I saw a review like this before moving here if you just google crimes in this area the WHOLE area lights up red with violent and property crimes. Save yourself the break in and skip this place.

I literally hear footsteps everytime someone walks to the upstairs. Hallways are freezing cold. You can also hear airplanes flying near to apt

Would not recommend this place to anyone- beautiful apartments on the outside but you don’t understand that these apartments have no type of insulation and makes noises on every little thing you do. If you have kids, it makes it 5x worse. Neighbors complain and complain can’t help the fact that this wasn’t built correctly. I’ve seen cops here multiple times for a couple who is consistently arguing, they also set off the fire alarm from what I was told and I had evacuated with everyone else/belongings just to be told it was pulled for no apparent reason during a heated argument. Disturbing the peace, would not be renewing here, I agree with the other reviewers on the 1 star. Lack of communication, poor management, apartments too noisy!
I went almost four months without upstairs neighbors. The day they moved in life became miserable. Like other reviewers said, the entire apartment shakes when anyone takes a step, I can literally hear when my upstairs neighbors sit down or get up from bed (by it’s creaking), walk to into the bathroom, shut a cupboard etc. it’s maddening. I have to blast white noise or play instrumental music at a decent volume if I want to be able to focus on work. I’ve lived in several apartments and stayed in 200+ hotels and never experienced sound like this before.
Management refuses to address the problem with noise, dirty hallways, dog poop. They agree with you when you call but then do nothing. Danielle pretends to care but she is far from concerned. Most neighbors agree that the noise from the upper floors like others have mentioned in review is too much. Literally the walls shake when people simply walk. Would not recommend this to anyone
This apartment is the loudest I have ever lived in. There is no insulation between the floor above to the apartment below. You can hear EVERTYTHING. It is so bad that we can hardly sleep at night. Every step our upstairs neighbors take we can feel in our apartment. Our pictures won’t even hang straight on the wall. When I called the office about it Danielle jokingly said “it’s not just you” as if that’s a solution to the problem. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE with zero enforcement. They need cameras to catch those residents who don’t pick up and fine or remove them from the property. The hallways are filthy. Garbage juice, trash, leaves, bugs are everywhere. It is literally sticky. They do not come clean it ever. When you call and complain they agree with you about the problems and then do absolutely nothing to solve the problem or fix it. It could be a nice place but management would rather laugh and joke in the office than fix problems brought up by the residents. My neighbors all have the same issues and have complained as well. Nothing gets done. Will definitely not be renewing here.
It is so loud. The floors above have no insulation so if you live anywhere but the top floor you will hear every single sound from above. Footsteps will shake the walls of your apartment and knock things off the walls. Management will not address the issue or have it fixed. They need to have someone come out and put underlayment under the floors. The front doors allow every sounds from the breezeway to come right into your apartment. People sit in their cars and blast music at all hours of the night. All this noise makes the constant plane flyovers and train horns sound like a peaceful breeze. So again if your value any type of quiet in your residence. This is not the place for you.
I toured a two-bedroom with Kayleigh and let me just say the complex is absolutely beautiful and she is amazing. Kayleigh made everything so easy! Can’t wait to move in on June 1st!!!
It was so stressful looking for an apartment during COVID but Novo(and Tori) took away a ton of stress!!! I can’t wait to move to the beautiful, brand new complex in June!!!
