This is the worst place to live. Leasing office manager is so rude, hardly understand and address those concerns. This place is good for wild life which i have seen a lot inside apartment like bugs, snakes, cockroaches, bedbugs..etc which property manager never care and address those concerns. Remember this is 50+ yrs old property with all old heavily used wear and tear interior but they except you to return in new condition for that they charge you heavily while move out. High utility bills due to window leaks(windows never replaced), compromised windows,..etc. Mold and moisture all around the doors and windows. Harmful for kids. If you're fascinated about snakes this is the best place to live where you see plenty bigger than 8 ft hanging on trees, climbing stairs, on walk way(watch out while walking, DO NOT STEP ON THEM) all during day time. FREE ZOO FOR KIDS.

Beware!!! This is the worst property I have ever lived at. The day of my move in the apartment was beyond disgusting. It was roach infested, mold on the refrigerator, the freezer, on the back splash to the sink, and in the dishwasher. Rips in the vinyl flooring, paint splatter everywhere and ripples in the floor. Old cooking greaser and residue all over the walls and stove. Missing light bubs, dirty bathrooms, cigarette burns in the toilet seat, and the toilets were unstable. It was clear the apartment had not been cleaned or walked through. I could not believe how horrible it was. Fast forward a year later and I moved out leaving the apartment spotless. To only be charged $300 dollars for the vinyl flooring that was already subpar, covered in paint and ripped. I tried to dispute these charges because clearly it was in that state when I moved in and I was told this was a partial fee for the damage I caused. I wish I could post pictures of this horrendous apartment I was given. Rent at your own risk!

I have lived here for 8 months now. I haven't had any issues with bugs. I put out traps and bait before I ever moved in. The walking trail is wonderful and my apartment is super quiet. These are not "luxury" apartments but they are spacious and safe. The maintenance staff is great and they're quick to respond.

Do not make this your home because it will put you through stress and unsafe living conditions. I’ve been reporting I have roaches since March and I’m being told I do not have a roach problem even though I have multiple pictures of roaches in my home alive and dead. They refuse to allow me to break my lease under the conditions of my health being in jeopardy as I have a low immune disorder. Roaches are found in every room of my apartment and even in my hygiene cabinet in the bathroom and kitchen where my pots and pans are stored. So now I have to take legal action as I’m being told I don’t have a roach issue. I’m beyond stressed and the staff seems to not care. I also reported my bathroom counter being damaged since I moved in and it has yet to be fixed. I was told “they do not have supplies to fix it and that I won’t be charged”. The fact is that the counter is damaged and I’ve been in this apartment since December with a damaged counter that shouldn’t be this way from the start. My water at one point was coming out brown. By the time maintenance came it was back to normal. Don’t worry about calling the emergency maintenance number because your emergency issue will not be handled in a timely manner. I reported an issue to the emergency maintenance number and I ended up fixing the issue myself as I had to go to sleep before heading to work. Seriously even with reporting issues and concerns the company will refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Current status of the roach issue is that I’m still living with roaches. Attempted to arrange a treatment done in my apartment but they want to charge me $50 as if I brought the roaches. Then for the treatment to be done I have to be out my home for 4hrs. I communicated that it would cause an inconvenience to me as I work odd hours and have two jobs. It would cause chaos to have my dog i and out that long. I asked if I could be accommodated to a hotel room just for that day and basically that was shot down by offering to spend the time at the clubhouse as if there’s a shower and bed there for 4hrs. I seriously have nothing to work with and clearly this company doesn’t care because they are not going through this. I lived many places from the east coast to the west coast and this by far is the worse place I ever lived in and I’m trying to do my part to make sure no one else ends up in a situation like me. Please avoid this place to save you stress.

If you love roaches want to have roaches as pets come here Asap. There will be roaches every night guaranteed (whether you see them or not) in your living space during the warmer seasons. No amount of cleaning will stop them.

Maintenance requests are treated like an obvious inconvenience. Staff turn around rate is insanely high and it doesn't take long to learn why.

First off there were many things that I enjoyed about this property so I would like to mention those first. I like the location, the pool, the amenities and the leasing staff and management. The grounds were very nice as well. This was a decent basic apartment. This being said I am very upset at a couple of things that fall in line with what the other reviewer said. There is a major roach problem and it doesn't seem to be a priority of staff or maintenance. I even woke up with a roach in my bed one night that fell on me from the ceiling. I keep my place very clean so these roaches are most likely due to sitting water as I believe they are water bugs. Which makes you wonder about mold as well if there is sitting water. Over the summer I asked to have my place sprayed and I was told that I would be put on a list. The leasing agent said that the list was already full for the following week so nobody would be in to spray my place for another two weeks. Hmmm, that tells you something right there if the list is so full you can't accommodate all of the clients with problems in a timely fashion. I went and bought my own spray as a result. I know for a fact that two other apartments in the same building had roach problems from talks with neighbors. The other major issue here is the maintenance supervisor. Most of the maintenance staff is jovial, kind and helpful so it is a shame that one man brings the entire team down. I would even go as far to say that this maintenance man's negative energy brings the entire apartment complex down. He is grumpy and rude and even scolded me on one occasion for not knowing where to put my recycling. I reported him for his terrible behavior but he continued to scowl at me for the rest of my time there. I also believe as a way of getting even he charged us for getting our carpet replaced when we left. Our carpet had some minor stains in it when we moved out; it had nothing terribly bad that a steam clean could not get it out. I am pretty sure that this maintenance supervisor ordered our carpet to be replaced as a way of getting even. Real mature. This is just so disappointment because I probably would have given this place a 4 star review if it was not for this one person and his negative way of dealing with things.

I spoke to a couple of current renters who were at the leasing office, the day I visited, and I got a resounding no from everyone I spoke to, this was right in front of the leasing staff. This place has a lot of pest issues and not to mention the rude and incompetent maintenance people. Most people couldn't wait to move out. Came back home and did more research: I looked at all poor reviews about this place and they are all in congruence with what current renters told me. The only positive reviews I have seen are from people who have just moved in and enjoyed the "sales experience" at the time of moving in. I guess this place is good at selling itself, but falls short on fulfilling all the promises they make at the time of the sale.

I have lived here for over 3 years now and it is definitely the best apartment complex I have lived in. It is not only quiet and safe, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and prompt. Also, it is in a prime location with Harris Teeter across the street, Park West down the street, and other fun towns like Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh are a hop, skip, and jump away if you take the highways located close by to this complex. I also really like the new paint job they did to all of the buildings recently. It makes me feel like I have moved even though I haven't. It's just a sign that they really do care about the state of their properties and residents. I would definitely recommend living here!!
