Property Ratings at Bexley Powers Ferry
The experience of living at Bexley Powers Ferry has been the most disappointing. At first, I didn't plan to review my experience at Bexley, but the way I was treated after I moved out motivated me to do so. We will begin by discussing the property itself, and then move on to how the business is conducted. There is a lack of maintenance in and around the property, and they do not place your safety first. There was always a problem with the garage door, one time, the door broke, resulting in the garage remaining unsafe for over three months. They offer their own internet service, which I consider to be garbage. A person who was not raised in an environment where cockroaches are prevalent, such as myself, should not live in Bexley Powers Ferry. As luck would have it, I was moving out roughly two months after I noticed the first bug. This is not a lie, and I am not saying this to improve the credibility of my complaint. A large number of apartment complexes are charging outrageous housing prices; however, the condition of the property does not match the price. Bexley Powers Ferry is one of those complexes. It is important to know your rights. Regardless of the number of units owned, it is the landlord's responsibility to return the security deposit within one month after the lease has ended or you vacate the premises. I am on my 45th day of waiting for Bexley Powers Ferry and Weinstein Properties to return my deposit. In good faith, I paid the required deposit when I moved into Bexley Powers Ferry, and I expect to receive my refund in a similar manner. I was NEVER late paying my rent, which is something not many people can say. The behavior described in my complaint above is unacceptable on the part of any organization. In particular, one that has been in business since 1952. I strongly advise you to consider other properties in Cobb County before renting at Bexley Powers Ferry. In all honesty, you will find better communities elsewhere. Just make sure it is not owned by Weinstein Properties.

The property is dirty and the front staff doesn't care if you have a problem with your apartment. This isn't a luxury apartment whatsoever. You'll always hear your neighbors upstairs and it's awful how loud it is.

I have had the worse experience at this apt community, and the management is horrible. My air conditioner went out not even 60 days of living here, my internet service with single digits is never online, and I have to use my hotspot to use the internet, there is a strong bad smell in my kitchen that I can't get rid of. I had a incident transpire with one of their employees that was a detriment to my safety, and he still work at the property. I even emailed, and talked to corporate and their main goal was pushing for me to move out of the property. I've asked the property manager several times to give me a update on the investigation, and she kept telling me that she can't tell me what happened with the investigation. I was allowed to break my lease without any penalties nor fees due to me not feeling safe, uncomfortable, and having their employee still able to access my unit at any given time. I contacted the property manager via email to inform her, I was extending my stay for another month. Since my new residence wasn’t available, and I paid my rent for November on 10-31-2022. I received a letter on my door from their attorney on 10-31-2022 informing me about a lease violation which stated ALL LIES from the staff. The property manager and corporate have ignored all of my emails. Then they filed to evict me on 11-2-2022 for staying past my tenancy. The situation have left me very stressed, distraught, put in a financial bind having to move again, and feeling like this was the worse decision ever to moving to bexley powers ferry. Some of the neighbors don't have their dogs on leashes, and they allow their dogs to get to close to people in the hallway/elevator. The elevator always smell like dog urine, and the smell is so strong its unbearable. This have been the worse experience ever with living at a apt complex, and it is not fit for anyone to live here on the premises.

Last week the brand new roof (it’s a new building) over my bedroom (top floor) began a massive leak. Water was pouring into my apartment via the window and progressively got worse with water leaking in a steady stream from two holes in the roof that I’m using my own mixing bowls to catch, as they wouldn’t even provide me a bucket. My bedroom is unlivable due to the water, and now 6 days later it is only getting worse. I’ve been told it may take 3 weeks or longer for the roofers to even look at the roof, let alone fix it. In the meantime, I’ve been given no rent relief despite not being able to sleep in my bedroom, they refuse to move me temporarily and I’ve been told to just “deal with it” because that’s all we can do right now. There is no plan for the mold that is already growing, the smell or the additional water that keeps leaking into my bedroom. All they do is gaslight me and tell me everything is fine. I’m seriously worried how bad the roof really is because it keeps getting worse and more of my ceiling keeps getting water damage. I’m worried it’s not structurally sound. I have to keep hoping for no rain. That is the advice of the leasing manager. Please don’t move here. They are cheaply built and I’m worried about my safety at this point.

1. The staff. The best all-around service and care I have ever received while renting. They are kind, attentive, available, and incredibly professional. Paul and John are two of the best. 2. The units- brand new, what else is there to say, they’re beautiful. 3. It’s modern af. There’s an app to let guests in with virtual keys. 4. Amenities are sick. 5. Location is perfect- I can see the battery and 75 is down the street. 6. Live here, it’s a gem.

Elan Powers Ferry has been amazing! They are a brand new property and have been very diligent in completing everything! Even with juggling construction they made my move-in extremely easy! If anyone left a negative review they dont understand growing pains. Ive been patient and trusting everything would work out! I must say it has been perfect!

Easy to love this place! Everything you need is 5 mins away, Grocery, Gas, Banking, Shopping & Great Food! Take an early morning stroll or sit on my patio and sip my coffee. Its city living at its best! I still get the cozy southern home feel and the NYC convenience of all things feel. (Purr) I am spoiled that way and Elan powers Ferry didnt disappoint. The ease of living here exceeded my expectations !
