Very smart layout
I toured with Kaitlyn the Springhill model. The layout of the apartment is smart. A lot of storage space. The guest room has a beautiful window. I love that there's a sunroom. She was very professional. The model home looked great. The apartment prices are more than fair especially for the sq footage. The area is well maintained and it looks to be a very safe neighborhood surrounded by a lot of stores. I do wish there was a way to tour non renovated or partially renovated apartments in person but i understand if someone still lives there, that it's not possible. The website only has the overlook video, it would be great if a video for all the apartments were available online. This apartment was definitely my #1 choice when apartment hunting but other factors made me choose my second choice instead. Definitely recommend this apartment for future residents.

I have been a resident of Birchwood apartment for a year and I found it to be very peaceful and serene. The only reason I'm moving because I decided to move into a house with my fiance. But if wasn't for that I would still be in my apartment. I will miss some of the folks there especially the maintenance guys they were pretty cool at the same time very professional. The ladies in the office were ok as well.

The apartments are great, location is great, but Debbie OMG at the leasing office is THE WORST leasing agent I have seen, she shases business away she is useless dump and so inefficient, so rude and will never get things done. We have been living at this complex for 3 years now and oh boy many good leasing avents working with her had to quit their job because of her. We can never count on her to fix anything, she doesn't like to do her job she just sits in her office cause trouble and be rude.

Okay for the price
This apartment was great when it was just my husband and me. 2 bedroom 2 bath with 1200 sqft for just over $1000 and 10 minutes from downtown. Now that we have a baby, I'm screaming to get out. Bugs are everywhere during the summer months. The windows are terrible, so despite the fact that our electric bill quadrupled in the winter, we're still wearing sweats and hiding under blankets.

Happy Renters
Since our move in day 3 years ago, we have been treated respectfully and warmly by all staff and maintenance crew. The grounds and newly renovated facilities are beautiful, and we use the pool and workout center almost daily. Being on a lake, the geese become a bit of an issue during the spring and summer. The apartment itself is modern, updated and clean. We have had major issues with the air conditioning unit not keeping up, but the staff has been helpful in getting it fixed. The rooms are large and we love the open concept feel. There are many windows for a lot of natural light. The porch in our unit is quite small and just big enough for about 2 chairs. Overall we are quite pleased and don't forsee moving anytime soon.
