Property Ratings at Blairstone at Governor's Square
Stratford is DISHONORABLE. OFFICE STAFF is rude and does not care to respond to service requests. They turn off the water in every building - except the Leasing office - three times a week between 5 -10hrs each time. Stratford FORCES renters to use one cable provider that shows only 45 channels - half are shopping networks. Unlike the previous management Stratford does not provide security to the property.
Great value I’ve been here for three years and I’m very happy. The new owners have dramatically improved the landscaping. They’ve repainted the entire place. There are two pools and their Internet provider, BroadStar, has fiber to the door with amazing Internet speeds. Great location to boot.
You’ll never have running water. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing as the ceilings are paper thin. And the staff is useless!
Horrible!! Was only here for 10 months and the water was cut off 15 different times, usually for 8 hours each time. Super noisy tenants and inadequate parking. Staff is very rude and threatening! There was an ant infestation in my apartment that I tried to get fixed to no avail. Garbage disposal and dishwasher didn’t work soon moving in. Also, several cabinets were coming of their hinges. You can’t walk anywhere around the apartments without stepping in dog crap, with no where to wash your shoes off. Find anywhere else to stay! Would give 0 stars if I could.
Horrible property and horrible company. They could care less about providing a great place for you to call home, or even a decent place for that matter..... Corporate cares about lining their pockets and are completely out of touch with the less than competent staff running the property (or pretending to run the property). Not only do you not get an apartment suitable for first world living conditions (Your water will always be turned off) but please don't make the assumption that your home is secure because you pay your rent on time and abide by your lease. They seem to find pleasure from kicking out single parents and their children for no documented reason. Save your money and some grief and rent ANYWHERE else.
I love my apartment, it's clean, spacious, and has a great location. I have the original design in neighborhood 2 and I like the layout. There's a lot of nice wooded area and pretty views. My biggest complaint though has to be the Royal American crew itself. It's your typical big corp apartment complex that really doesn't care about it's residents... I mean I wasn't expecting that coming in but it wasn't a plus. They fired almost their entire staff before I came in and there was no introductions made with the new team. It's also frustrating that they make you pay for a $40 cabel program that if you're under the age of 45 you will most likely never use except for that rare football game. The maintenance team also slacks on repairing things promptly and properly. I've had a broken window for the past 6 months... whoooops... If you're rich enough to not give a crap go for it... but people looking for a longer term housing look elsewhere
I can honestly I no serious complaints about Blairstone at Governor Square. I live in phase one in a 2/2 and the apartment is pretty spacious at a decent price for the area. Maintenance can sometimes we a little slow, but I've only ever had one big issue (air), which was fixed after the third called. I've lived here for almost two years only moving due to job.
