Charity and Dawn made the move in process so easy! The only thing they didn’t do is move my boxes for me. The community here is great, the restaurants nearby are excellent, and if your view of the river isn’t breathtaking enough, take a walk on the nature trail (only a block away).

I have lived at Block 2 Lofts for three years. I do not have a single complaint. The apartment, with all of its windows, eradicated my seasonal depression. I also enjoyed walking in the downtown area. Dawn and Charity couldn’t be kinder or more accommodating. I am only leaving because, with a new grand baby, I’m going to my hometown for the entire summer or lingerie . I truly feel that I have the best spot in Little Rock and I will miss it immensely.

This moving experience was possibly the most easiest thanks to charity and Dawn. Every step of the way they were there to help me and provide me the information that I needed as well as get me in as soon as possible. The whole process took only a few days! Would definitely recommend living here as it is such a beautiful place, but also the staff is very friendly welcoming and warm! 10 out of 10!!!

I have been a resident for 5 years and absolutely love living here! Everyone at the Management office, Dawn and Charity are incredible! Limited space so I will try and hit the highlights. 1) Cockroaches,never dealt with roaches until we moved here. It took them 6 months to get rid of the roaches 2)Broken elevators.The one elevator that works has broken down a total of 8 times since we have been here, 27 flights of stairs is not fun especially when carrying groceries up in the heat of summer and the air conditioning is out. 3)The air conditioning went out for a week or more the summer we moved in. 4) Also, when we moved in the toilet in our bathroom was lose and rocked back and forth when sat on. Three times mainetenance has been to fix it, but the toilet goes right back to a wobble after a couple of days. They do a quick fix, but not a permanent fix.4) It's trashy. For 6 months there was a nasty, stinky carpet and other garbage rolled up in the stair well and they did nothing about removing it. They have never been up to our floor to sweep and mop the hallway in the year we have been here. 5) The whole building stinks of weed. I'm not judging those who smoke weed, but the apartment management should make sure people don't smoke in the hallways or on the elevator. I don't want to smell like a dead skunk. 6) Parking. You pay extra to have garage parking, someone who doesn't pay for it, should not be allowed to park in your spot, or they should be towed. This doesnt happen. Management has specifically said that they will not tow from underground parking. 7) Last thing is our roof links in spots near the wall. We have reported it, they came to inspect it and talked about fixing it, but then never came back to fix the leaks or kill the mold. I now found out I have been exposed to black mold which means it's in the air. We moved in sight unseen, because we moved from out of state. The apartment sight advertised these as luxury apartments and we pay prices comparable to upscale aparment complexes all within the area. This is defintuely false advertising as this apartment complex is sub standard. Monarch group runs these, and they have similar complaints from across the nation. They provide a trashy living expereince at premium prices. One last thing, though I am a tenant, I have worked as an apartment manager, so am usually sympathetic knowing how much can't be controlled, but everything mentioned should be basic for the prices they are charging.

We loved living downtown, so when we found this 2 BR apartment with a river view, we quickly leased the property. We love coming home to live, play, eat, and relax downtown, with so much in walking distance. That's all the pros for this property. This building with covered garage was billed as secure. We were shown the parking garage in the same building as the apartment we were considering. We signed the lease, picked up the keys, then were told that we'd have to park in the garage under the building next door - which meant walking in the spring rain to our building. We were promised parking in our building by the next month. Sixty days later, we had to throw a fit to finally get parking, and then one of the space was in the middle of a flooded area of the garage, so walking through water to and from my car. Everything I ask for requires multiple visits to the office to get it accomplished. Almost every request required at least 3 asks and usually required an angry confrontation. A big problem is the HVAC in this apartment. After lots of problems, we finally asked an independent HVAC company to check it, and they said the unit in our apartment just isn't strong enough to properly heat and cool our apartment. So, when the weather gets really cold or really hot, we're really cold or really hot. On the hottest days of summer - which Arkansas experiences, the apartment would not cool under 78. On the coldest days in the winter, the apartment won't heat over 68, and 66 is the highest on the coldest days. Beyond that, the unit required service to even heat and cool anyway, but we had to suffer for three days last winter, last summer, and now this winter before fixed. You need to be aware that this is not a secure building or a secure garage. The garage door stands open lots of overnights. Several of the doors have pads requiring the fob to enter, but those doors just open right up without a fob. After an intrusion in another apartment in our building, we insisted they get these all secure, and they fixed some of the problems, but not all of them. We're leaving ... highly suggest you learn from our mistake and avoid this property entirely.
Great views, great location. I walk or ride my bike everywhere! I sold my car. It's a great spot. The apartment is good. It could use a little touches of updating but my view and the location make up for that.
I've lived in the Wallace Building of Block 2 for a year. My apartment is on the 4th floor facing west. It has a great view of the LR skyline and lets in a ton of sun (some afternoons in the summer it feels like too much sun). The location is great, I walk to work everyday. I go to the River Market Farmers Market every weekend it's open. I can walk to bars and restaurants in minutes. I don't have a car because everything I need is within biking distance. Even have a bar and a restaurant on the bottom floor. I don't have to go outside to enter the bar. That's pretty cool, I suppose. The laundry is expensive $3.25 to do one load and if you overfill it to try to only do one load, everything will still be wet. The floors in my unit's kitchen and bathroom weren't the greatest, but I got large area mats to cover them. Gym is nice, it's small but it's great because I don't want to pay for a gym membership and on days when it's snowing it's close. One weird thing about my building is the grasshoppers. If you like to have your window open in the fall your apartment will be full of grasshoppers. So, I've learned to embrace air conditioning until it's time for heat. Overall, I love it because of the location and the view.
