Block 44 location cannot be beat. The walkability to everything is amazing- downtown, restaurants, bars, City Creek shopping, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Walgreens, nail salons....you literally do not have to get in your car. The building is also safely secured which provides an extra layer of comfortability in protection. Also love that the jacuzzi is heated all year round!

Block 44 is one of the best residential housing in this area. It feels so premium and is well taken care of. The amenities are plenty and they're are well maintained. Pool is cleaned regularly. The gym has all the equipment we'd usually need. Management is good and they make sure you're satisfied.

I would never recommend anyone to move in here. It is filthy and there are no real usable amenities except for the clubhouse rooms. It stinks in every floor and every elevator. DIRTY!

Block 44 has been a great experience for my husband and I. After moving across the country and previously living in a house with a beautiful yard, I was very nervous to move into an apartment. I was also a little nervous about some the reviews and how it seemed to be younger kids. ( we are in our thirties) Brooke reassured me that they have done a lot of clean up since those reviews. I was skeptical but still we decided to rent. We had a few issues at first but Brooke and the entire staff was so attentive and helpful with all Of our concerns and any issues were immediately fixed. We feel very grateful to have such a caring staff!

Block 44 is all around a great option for downtown living. The building/amenities are well built and the apartments are very fairly priced. The team is what makes this place great. Every employee at Block 44 goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy. From the girls in the lobby to the maintenance team. They are all around exceptional at making things right if anything goes wrong. my wife nor myself couldn't say enough good things about the people who work here.

Block 44 is the best apartment complex downtown. Location is perfect being right by the Trax. Hallways are clean and the apartment is beautiful. I love the gas ranges. Staff is awesome!

Apartments are nice but maintenance is poor. Our microwave touchpad broke and we requested a maintenance request. The person came in 4 days later and had the wrong part ordered. They didn't seem to know what to do so we suggested they order a new part. It has been over a week and we still have not been notified of any new parts being ordered or a replacement microwave. It is very inconvenient at this time to not have it working.

I lived in Block 44 this past year and had an extremely poor experience. The building often reeks of weed and students throw extremely loud parties nearly every day of the week. The University football team will sometime come home from games at 3 in the morning and wake up the whole building. I had talked to several other residents and they had similar experiences. There are sometimes dog pee stains in the elevator and food on the floor in the hallway. The building has many electrical issues and in my brief time living in this building, I had many bad experiences. There was an instance where the fire alarm went off for the whole building late at night with no actual cause, solely because of the building's poor setup. We lost power in our whole apartment or parts of our apartment several different times. I once woke up to no power in the living room/kitchen meaning I had no wifi and no operational appliance. The building has many problems, yet residents are harshly charged for any minor damage. The apartment is in a fairly convenient location, but this comes with a majority of risks. There are many homeless in the area and I often felt scared coming home at night. One of my first days living in B44 I saw a man walking down the street with a knife in plain sight as I walked from the trax station to the building (at around 9 pm). While this is not the responsibility of the staff, I think potential residents should be aware of the risks of living in this area.
