Property Ratings at Blu Atlantic
A great place to call home! The office staff always greets you with a welcoming smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout room is open 24//7 and the pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the location and there’s no parking issues. I could not feel safer as there are surveillance cameras in every building and law enforcement patrols daily. I couldn’t live anywhere else.. Is a beautiful small community.

They seem much more interested in the outer appearance of the complex ..than the insides of apartments. Although nice looking interiors .. have an ongoing problem with bugs and mold. I do not think you ever get rid of the pests or mold once it is in a building.. the bugs are due to the poor construction. Now they have a huge construction project going on next door and it is very noisy. The leasing Manager is really pretty unpleasant..I would not trust her. Overall though compared to other complexes it is nice looking on the outside..quieter side of Del ray.. no security gates, and ....all good things.

We would like to apologize for your experience. We are sorry to hear you were less than satisfied. We pride ourselves on providing Resident Satisfaction and high quality standards of living. However some of the unpleasant observations you’re stating are not things that we can control- for example the construction taking place next door is not something we can control. Please note, the windows & sliding glass doors are sound proof and construction stops before 5pm, so there is never any disturbances after hours, nor has our office ever received any disturbance complaints in relation to the construction site next door. South Florida is very humid and rainy therefore we are exposed to pests due to the climate in this region especially in the spring and summer months and for that reason we offer complimentary pest control services to our residents on a weekly basis. If pests is an issue for you then you should notify the office to request extermination. Within this past year we’ve only had one mold issue reported and the mold assessment performed determined that it was due to lack of air flow and poor climate control, which meant the a/c was not ran often. Therefore the issue was completely un-relatable to the structure of our buildings and or quality of our apartments. Lastly we do not have a ‘leasing manager” we do have a property manager whom is pretty pleasant and also highly experienced and qualified. We are thrilled to have her with us as we are very pleased that she is very consistent and successful at getting our residents to adhere by our Community Policies, which is why our property looks impeccable. We encourage our onsite management team to re-enforce the rules and policies outlined on the lease, sometimes we encounter those residents whom are uncooperative and refuse to adhere to our community policies and as a result react negatively. Our on-site Manager is extremely responsive and we invite you to go in the office to discuss your concerns. We are confident you’ll be pleased with the outcome. Yours sincerely, Management.
We’ve been living at Blu Atlantic for a few years and I have to say we are very pleased with the new management, they are very responsive. The property looks impeccable and maintenance responds immediately, therefore we decided to renew for another year. The apartments are in excellent condition and have large living space. We find it they are very reasonably priced in comparison to others in the area.

I have lived here almost two years and have filed several complaints regarding the noise coming from the neighbours above me. Several to the old property manager and also recently to the new one. Nothing has changed and it is becoming very frustrating, especially because of the amount of money I pay to live here. I feel it is managements responsibility to ensure all tenants have a pleasant and peaceful place to live. The doors slamming constantly in my building is also unacceptable. Last but not least, the last break in that occurred on property, the asaliant knocked on my door one hour prior to breaking into another’s apartment. I was assured that I would be contacted by the PBC detectives to make a statement as I could give a full description of the man. No one ever followed up and nothing was ever done. As a single female living alone I would have hoped they would have taken this more serious. My lease is up in October and I don’t believe, unless some of these matters are addressed and resolved, I will be renewing my lease.

Do not live here if you are under the age of 30 and/or in college. You are not allowed to have even a friend or two over without them calling your parents. They accused my roommates and i of smoking marijuana multiple times calling our parents, threatening getting cops involved when there is normal, adult aged people that do it!! we knew exactly which apartment it was coming from but we did not have time to play the blame game (not that they ever believed a word out of our mouths anyway). Being respectful, educated and well brought up young women, we had never been made to feel so belittled before. Also, they would constantly target us as the culprit to any problem that would happen here... just because they could and they knew we were young and vulnerable. AND fyi- DONT even try to keep your apartment nice, DONT even try to clean it like crazy the day you move out, BECAUSE they will take ALL AND MORE (from your pocket) of your security deposit anyway! Please just be careful before you live here and get ready to be called all the time with unpleasant things from meccia all day long. This community was very small and quiet and we had no problems with neighbors and such. The girls and i were barely ever home as we were full time students and had jobs. It's just crazy to us and our families that we weren't allowed to have a friend or two over and if a girlfriend slept over it would be suspicious!!- we pay good money to live here and i feel like we should be able to have over whoever we want-it wasn't even an everyday thing. And to add a side note, the TWO (yes that's it) janitors, handy men whatever you wanna call them, were nearly incompetent. I was accused of video taping and recording them like why would i want to do that!?!! i was so entirely confused when i heard that. Also, we are college students in our 20's and we did not throw parties, and acted in nothing but respect to any one we came across. If you want to live here i suggest being over 50 and retired so you can just tell them to shut up and do their job!

Comfortable interim apartment while waiting to move into a house. But the BEST experience is having met SCOTT and José in maintanence. Fast, effective and delightful. Rowe is a new and delightful asset to the leasing office and we thought Mayor was terrific also. Sorry to see him go.
The first 6 months on my lease were great. Clean, friendly, well kept and quite exceptional. Recently it seems they are trying to cut cost with maintenance. The grass is cut less, the brushes aren't trimmed as much and there is outdoor mold growing because they are not power washing. I also noticed more bugs, it seems like they are not spraying as much. I have not seen a warning sign in over 4 months. The pool is crowded with people who don't live in the complex, partying and making residents uncomfortable. It definitely needs to be larger and there should be allotted time for adults. They are raising the rents when resigning yet cutting prices everywhere else. Not to mention the overwhelming amount of break-ins over the last month. There needs to be more interaction and events with the residents. The more we know each other and have opportunities to meet the more likely we can become a community and assist with the break ends and know who is supposed to be on the property and not. Just my opinions. Thanks
Apartments new but too much turnover and used cheap appliances, cheap carpet and pool too small for size of development DON'T PAY HIGHER SECURITY AS THEY WILL KEEP IT NO MATTER WHAT They are not honest, do not take care of problems and unless you like poisonous toads, cabinets for people 6 feet tall and gross carpet stay away!!
Started out great and now its becoming a hassle to stay...
I moved here in April of this year and don't have any complaints about this community. The Community staff are great people and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of as a tenant. Shannon, Kelly and Scott are a great and cohesive team of professionals and give their tenants full support regarding any complaints , problems, or issues you may encounter. They are always there to help out or lend an ear. I would recommend Blu Atlantic to anyone based on quality, location, cleanliness, and most of all safety. :)
I recently moved to Blu Atlantic and really love it! The staff is wonderful! Kelly, Shannon, Scott are all super friendly and will do everything and anything to make you comfortable. The unit is comfortable and calming. The computer center with macs is really great for studying, and the gym is alive and energetic with people working out. I am so glad I chose this community. I can't wait for the weekend to try the saltwater pool!
From the first walk in to the management office it was a delight. I was impressed by this chic, cozy apartment. The features are exquisite and makes you feel luxury. Can't wait to move in!
