If I could leave less than one star I would. I lived in this apartment complex for the duration of a little more than a year, from May 2020 to June 2021 and I have never been more appalled at the a property conducts business. They do not care about the tenants and they do not take care of maintenance issues despite numerous requests and outreach. In fact, upon arrival from an out of state trip, I discovered that not only did maintenance come to the apartment but they left the door open, removed things from the storage on the patio and left everything out. Not only did this ruin everything I have in storage but also scarred the daylights out of me when I returned home to find my apartment in a disarray. I am a 50+ year old woman who lives by herself, so you can imagine my fear. After notifying The property manager she said she would get back to me. Two weeks went by and nothing. Maintenance never notified me via email text phone call or anything that they were going to be in the apartment. Extremely wrong of property management! I called every day since then to get clarification or resolve on this and nothing. Also, when I would visit the office to get an answer to a question or to get clarification on something that was going on no one was ever in the office. In fact upon move out, I was scheduled to go in and sign a release that I was leaving, giving them my 60 days, with a scheduled 9 AM appointment on Monday morning. I took off of work to be in the office and the property manager didn’t even bother to show up. I sat there for 45 minutes and was informed by the other woman in the office that she had “car trouble” and would call me when she got in the office. Staff did NOT call me to tell me that she had arrive later that day or to schedule a subsequent appointment. At 3 PM the following Wednesday I called up to the office again to ask why someone hadn’t reached out. Apparently the property manager just decided she wasn’t gonna show up for three days. So I was then left struggling trying to figure out how to give my notice because the notice was due on Wednesday. The other staff didn’t know how to except notice of leaving or how to get a hold of the property manager. These apartments are dated, old, and gross!I have never in my life been more upset with a business or a property management. This apartment complex is AWFUL to say the least! I highly suggest whoever is living there or who is looking to live there to think twice!

Don’t rent here. The staff doesn’t respond to my emails so I have to pay $35 extra every month because they haven’t updated my renters insurance. They sent automated emails every couple of days to say they are “assisting” with people applying for renters assistance programs which nobody cares about we just care out repairs etc.. There too many roaches no matter how clean I keep it. I can see light and hear people on the other side of the wall from the GIANT holes in the kitchen ceiling that the apartment people have neglect to repair for months. I have a 2 bath, 1 bathroom doesn’t have a working toilet, the other doesn’t have a working sink. Every week I see another person move out. Bottom line was with COVID and the Winter Storm they couldn’t adapt to meet business needs, which included taking care of its residents.

My friend had lived here for a while now and I've visited it on multiple occasions. I was getting ready to call 9500 my new home but then something unpleasant happened. My car was towed from the lot. My friend said that it was fine to park anywhere as long as it was not in the reserved spaces. I have visited the complex many times and he had other visitors over his time there and had never had anyone's car towed. The lot is never even half full to say that visitor cars create an issue. He went to the office to confirm that it was ok to park in any open space and they did say that same thing. The tow company refused to accept it as fact. I then called the office and spoke to an assistant manager and she once again confirmed that as long as my car is not in reserved or handicapped space it is not subject to towing. Regardless of all the reassuring from the leasing office, the tow company did not recognize it and did not release my car until I paid. I reached out to corporate and received no response even though they respond to all bad reviews urging everyone to reach out to them - silence in my case. This situation left me financially strained and gave me a great deal of anxiety. If the leasing office personnel and an assistant manager are saying things that are not actually true how can I trust them enough to live there?

Phones aren't tended to. I had to drive an the way there. Front desk person was so Rude, zero knowledge about polices, didn't wear a mask, didn't let me in the office to show anything. Referred me to the website. When I asked to speak with someone who knows something she asked me to leave and talk to the manager when she's back.

9500 is absolutely the worst apartment I have ever lived in in my entire life. They don't answer emails, phone calls and will just straight up lie to your face like its nothing. They charged the full month rent when I went almost a complete month without water. Meaning I couldn't shower, do dishes, wash clothes, brush my teeth, flush my toilet, shave or even wash my hands. It was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. The apartment did NOTHING to make this right. or even attempt to reimburse residents. Also I live on the 3rd floor, I came home from lunch to find a giant rat in my apartment, anyone who's ever been to my place can tell you how neat I keep it. I've never paid for pest control at any apartment except this one yet this is the first time I've ever seen a freaking rat in my so called luxury apartment. This place is an absolute joke no one should ever have to be ripped off this way and they should be closed down and put out of business asap.

Awful apartment, awful management. Stay far away. They have an absolutely awful roach problem they do next to nothing about. They DO NOT answer calls OR emails. The price is low for a good reason ...

Overall, the apartment community met my needs, but response to service requests and response from front office staff in a timely manner could be better.
Lugar tranquilo, nunca falta limpieza de areas verdes y areas de uso en la comunidad como piscina y laundry.
The property is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful.
Some of the utilities are a little old ...for example lately my ac doesnt quite cool up like when I moved in..need to get fixed,other then that it's a pretty amorable community.
Maintenance try to do the best but it's only a couple guys for 2 appartment properties, all it's to old and a/c system very inefficient and costly my electric bill easily reach 180 on summer.
Easy access to stores major roads.Easy exit and entrance with 2 drive ways.
I've tried to get friends to move here but they don't like the neighborhood. Long time residents remember when Rundberg did not have a good rep. I love it and I 've always felt safe. The one problem is I used the new 9500 cafe portal to get email address to send insurance rider for my renewal and I haven't gotten a response. All the ones I have in my historty haven't worked
1. Would not recommend due to wasted charge for door trash pick that I will never use, I do mean never. I'm guessing the # of Cats hanging around is due to the trash by apartments. 2. Also, Internet is not Time Warner-Spectrum (I lived here when TWC installed Cable and Internet). My understanding is that it is Kadirnet, had never heard that name until I had an Internet issue.
I moved here last year. I absolutely love the front office staff. They are very helpful and answer all of my questions when I need help. They have two pools and a cute gym area. Pet friendly and well kept.
Okay I wanna start off by pointing out the good of the place. Office staff is very friendly and will help out with most stuff like lost mail etc. parking isn't to bad as of lately now that they started towing cars that are in wrong spots or have been parked for a while and no signs of use. They post events and new stuff that is happening around the area and at the apartment to try and get people engaged in festivities and what not. Moving on to bad from my experience here. My lease is almost up and I haven't had to many problems over all one minor gripe I want to put is there is regular parking and compact parking people with small cars take up the regular sized spots when they could be parking in compact car parking for someone like me with a truck is forced to park there and almost takes up 2 spots. Another thing is and I wish i could add video and or pictures to this review, maintenance doesn't do all that much at least not for my concerns. My upstairs neighbors laundry room leaks water from their laundry room down into my laundry room and patio coming from the boards and almost floods my laundry room weekly or whenever they do their laundry and it has caused a considerable amount of black mold. Which Maintenance has done nothing about even with making a service request several weeks ago. My lease is almost up and unless they can guarantee me a newer renovated apartment away from this building with the same rent I will not be renewing my lease and going somewhere else. I'm looking forward to moving here as soon as possible. The lady who worked in the front is very sweet and knowledgeable I think her name is Ashley, she wasn't bothered by all of the questions I had. The location is very convenient it's close to many popular fast food joints and also I35. The apartments look very nice both inside and out and have plenty of amenities not to mention fun events for the faithful residents many of which have been in those apts. for years Oh and by the way you get your own backyard also which is always a perk!

Office staff very rude. They were condescending and did not listen. The lease was the most arduous lease I've ever signed. We came in originally they gave us thier ":Sample lease for us to go over" and when we came back they gave us a completely different lease with 21 addemdums. Felt very bate and switchy. Two of the addemdums included signing away your rights to 24-hr notice of entry and of our rights to a sue. One even stated that if you left a bad review anywhere about the property, that would be grounds for lease termination. They do not take damage deposits, but use a scamy service called, Deposit ID. They post postponed our move in date and changed our apartments and when we came in to pickup the keys, the staff was very rude. We decided to not take the keys and not live with these monsters. We still have not received a refund for the deposit ID even though we never moved in.

Im a current tenant living hear for two years. I want to focus my review on the new management. Just why are renovations being done here? Particularly painting of all front doors orange and putting up wood on the front facing exterior and under the kitchen Windows? They are unfinished surfaces that not only look extremely ugly but they serve no function. The trees some years old have been chopped completely off and the beautiful flowing hedges I believe they were gardenias had been all chopped completely off? Why? Isn't there city ordinances that prohibit killing off trees in Austin? Personally, I felt like crying because they were well manicured and obviously carefully chosen plant species for the area and landscape. It only increased the property value. So why make such a move? I know one thing making a move is what I'm about to do even if I have to cancel my lease early and pay the fee. Since new management, Vesta group took hold of this property to manage, there were nothing but homeless people or previously -homeless people, obvious drug addicts/ or drug dealers, and recently paroled individuals gaining residence here. Now I don't know if they are on leases, but I do know that my neighbor isn't on the lease because he told all of us neighbors that live in building one. Obviously, I immediately smirked as I knew that sub leasing is a direct violation of every tenants lease contract. You know if you're by yourself and discrete and quiet it's one thing, but if you are cohabiting with two other adults and 3 dogs and have all types of visitors at every time of the night and early morning like 3am, it is quite another. I don't agree that new management is practicing safe methods in management. If A crime is committed on this property by one of these off-lease individuals, there is absolutely no way management can trace liability and culpability if these individuals pick up and run. Good luck to my fellow neighbors that been honest, lease compliant, and quiet. It's to these people that make up communities with integrity, Thank you for making this community livable.

I went to check the pricing .and like the costumer service and the property is really nice and clean .I really like the fact the my needs where important to them . was looking for one bedroom first floor they dint have available .but I was put on wait list .
I moved to Marlborough Square Apartments 6months ago due to my budget. I had to choose a neighborhood i would normally stay away from, but i have really enjoyed my decision. The apartments have recently been remodeled they provide free cable,HBO,internet, pest control,fireplace,laundry room and a pool. There is a recreation center within walking distance to the complex along with a park. It is 10minutes from down town Austin. I assume being in a neighborhood that is considered Austins worst to be a bad experience and i was planning on moving as soon as my budget permitted,however, 685 a month for a one bed room home enjoying the perks in saving money...
Management makes promises that she doesn't keep. I've been promised a new bath tub to replace broken one since I moved in two leases ago and every time I bring it up, she says in two weeks. Still hasn't happened. Everything from broken fence outside to ants and mold goes unattended. Can't find a better apartment I can afford.
My experence when renting here has been a mess to begin with the apartment was supposed to be remodeled with new carpwt and yes there is new carpet but its on top of the old. There is many layers of lumpy paint on the walls.There are many issues. The dishwasher is old and smells like a sewer, doors wont close, water leaking under the sink, the paint job has overspray on everything. if you can find anothor place to rent I would advise it. this place is a dump. The Management says they will fix stuff just to get you out of their office.
