Immediately adjacent to the University of Arizona and just two miles from Tucson's thriving downtown sits the Feldman's neighborhood. Named for its first settler, this area provides residents with a real sense of history. The Feldman's Historic District contains hundreds of Craftsman bungalows and Spanish Revival stucco homes, as well as modern apartments.
Residents stay active at Francisco Elias Esquer Park, which provides playground space and picnicking facilities for the community. With the University of Arizona within walking distance, one can pick up a Wildcats football game in the fall, or check out concerts and plays at Centennial Hall. Those into visual arts can delight in exhibits at the University's Center for Creative Photography.

Property Ratings at Blue Agave Apartments
I've been very happy to call these apartments home for the past 3 years. From the moment I moved in, the management team has been friendly, responsive, and caring. They make you feel like family. If you have a problem, it's addressed quickly. The main building has gated parking. It's an older building and is very well maintained. It's a quiet complex with respectful neighbors of all ages. The location is great with easy access to I-10, and within walking distance to U of A (15 mins), PCC downtown campus (5 mins), Fourth Ave (10 mins), and Downtown Tucson (20 mins). You won't find a kinder management team anywhere in Tucson. :-) Give them a call!

Thank you for the very nice review. We are glad you are so happy living at Blue Agave.
I am 65 and moved here from crowded Maricopa County, best idea ever! The managers are always friendly as are the other occupants, A very safe neighborhood and love walking the streets for exercise. Bus stops are 1 block away, makes it easy to go downtown or to the mall in the opposite direction. I drive my car under 50 miles per month! I was allowed to have my cat in my studio apt, gated parking lot and my packages and mail delivered here, no more PO boxes. Come see!

Blue Agave is well cared for and very affordable; the neighborhood keeps improving, with a Starbucks in walking distance. The friendly, experienced management team is five-star.

We are so happy that you enjoy living at Blue Agave Apartments. Thank you for your very kind review!
Wonderful management and a quiet place to stay. Enjoyed my time there and give it 5 stars
1. Manager does their job well and has patience for anyone and everyone who applies and lives at the complex. 2. Whenever I needed something fixed at my apartment, it was gone quickly and no problems popped up from those fixes since. 3. Rent is great for how good of a conditions the apartments are and the location is great for downtown and right next to the highway which is necessary for me. Overall: Check out this apartment and go for it cause you won't regret it
I lived here for the past two years and it probably has to be one of the best places I have ever rented. The community is very friendly, safe, quiet, and respectful. The Terry and Teri are very friendly and accommodating. If I ever do come back to live in Tucson, it will definitely be here at the Blue Agave Apartments again.

Blue Agave is an amazing community to be apart of. The price for these units are truly unreal, especially given the location and quality. I love my apartment and neighbors. It’s such a beautiful place to call home.

Thank you so much for your kind review! It makes our day when we hear that someone is happy living at Blue Agave.
The apartments come with a host of amenities, and it's an overall lovely community of people. Everything is nearby, and it's even better now that University Commons is open! Teri and Terry are also some of the friendliest and nicest people around, they go above and beyond to make sure that every tenant at Blue Agave feels comfortable and safe. Their level of help and hospitality is bar none, but you don't have to take my word for it! :)

Wow! What an amazing review. Thank you for taking the time to tell others about Blue Agave. We are so happy that you feel at home here.
I lived at the Blue Agave for ten years and loved it- friendly people, fantastic, convenient location! The apartments are clean, and maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner. Perfect for a grad student, quiet and an easy bike to campus or short walk to Fourth Avenue. I miss Tucson and the Blue Agave !
Great tenants. Perhaps the best you will meet! Decent apartments. Definitely give this place a try
This apartment complex is always quiet and everyone is very nice to one another. The rent is an amazing price for being so close to the University and other great areas of Tucson. The area feels safe, even at night. Terri and Terry are the best landlords ever. They fix any problems immediately and they truly care about the people who live here. The apartment I moved into was in great condition. The carpet is so nice and it was very clean. I love living here and I plan to stay at least until I graduate college. Best place in Tucson.
The rent is cheap and the neighbors are nice. It's quiet at night and during most of the day. If anything breaks, they'll fix it. The managers are very responsive and friendly. It's a 10-minute bike ride to the University of Arizona and a short walk to the Pima Community College Downtown campus. I've never had trouble parking when returning to my apartment. There's is a night watch who patrols the parking lot periodically each night, and you can go talk to him if you see anything strange going on. Fry's is a 5-minute drive and there's a Circle K just around the corner. There's also free internet for tenants (though it's not high-speed). The action on 4th Avenue is within walking distance.
I have lived in this complex for a couple of months, and I can honestly tell you it is the best housing situation I have been in in Tucson by far. The landlords are incredibly nice and address any problems you have very quickly. My AC was leaking for some reason, and they stopped by the same day to fix it. At my previous housing, this would take 3-5 days (which in Tucson is incredibly frustrating). The apartments / studios are very clean upon move-in as well. The community itself is great. The complex is not very large, so it is pretty quiet all day. There are an assortment of students, young adults, and older tenants. I have had very pleasant conversations with my neighbors, and although we don't have dinners together or anything, a smile and a wave while I am walking to my car always happens. If I had any complaints, it would be that there are not ethernet ports in the apartments. This means that setting up a router isn't possible. However, the WiFi is free and pretty reliable. I stream Netflix to watch movies on a Roku well. I play video games on my Xbox that require WiFi, and although the connection isn't perfect, I haven't had issues playing with my friends. Most apartment complexes in Tucson (especially student housing) try to trick you into living there. You then are disappointed by management's lack of communication and inability to fix problems that arise. Blue Agave is just the opposite, which puts them a cut above the rest. If you have the chance to live here, I PROMISE you that you will not regret it!
Blue Agave is Peaceful and quiet. Management takes care of any problems quickly. I have lived at Blue Agave for over twenty years and have enjoyed all my time here. This is a very easy going and friendly community.
I used to live at their sister property, Blue Agave North for 3 years while doing my Master's at the University of Arizona. I loved the quiet neighborhood, the beautiful apartment building, and the short commute to my lab so much that I decided I wanted to live here again. I'm currently residing at Blue Agave Apartments, and it's been a wonderful choice. The studio I live in, is spacious, has working appliances, and storage space. My unit was pristine when I moved in, and well maintained. The classic Tucson decor is very beautiful, and the premises are always clean. The neighborhood is really quiet and pleasant and I enjoy living here. Teri and Terry are the landlords. They are both extremely friendly and make you feel at home. Anything that you need is taken care of promptly.
This is such a great place to live. The neighbors are quiet so it is perfect for students who actually want to focus on their studies. Great location for both Pima and the UofA-both are easy walking distance. Shortly after I moved in there was termite issue and they got the exterminator in there quickly and took care of it efficiently. I've never had such efficient and nice landlords before. They take care of you here. The only problem I have had here is that the wifi gets really slow/spotty, especially at night (but hey it's free so what do you want. Just plan ahead if you have anything important to turn in) I've had an overwhelmingly positive experience living here.
I am retired and decided to move to Tucson from Florida just to make life interesting after living on the east coast 71 years. So very impressed with my first contact with “Teri" the manager in mid October that I sent a deposit and she would hold the apartment even into November if necessary while I closed out my Florida property. Arrived Oct 27 late evening and waited till 8 AM for her. Apartment was ready for immediate occupation and she gave me $100 credit for first month November rent. The complex is old but it was recently renovated and it appeared new and fresh. AFTER ALMOST 8 MONTHS: "Terry" the maintenance man is very knowledgeable and helpful. Both “T’s”are always giving good general advice on Tucson and Arizona lifestyle and attractions. Both are part owners and there is NO MANAGEMENT COMPANY! Got an instant replacement of a bad refrigerator just this week. All tenants get a background check. Very good privacy. In short, there is nothing in Florida near a major city or in Tucson itself with better value and service!

So happy to hear that you love living at Blue Agave! We have such a nice mix of tenants - from students to the working class to retirees. We strive to keep our community clean, quiet, well-maintained and it helps so much that we have such wonderful people living here who also care about Blue Agave. Thank you for your kind comments.
It is one of the best places to live in Tucson if you are student or even a family seeking a quit and friendly place to live. The manager and her husband are super friendly and kind. They will help you with anything even if you are new to the area and do not know what to do for fun.The location is near to the PCC downtown campus and about 10-15 min from U of A and downtown Tucson. It might not be a very fancy place to live but you can feel like home because all the neighbors are quit and there are lots of students in the complex and they are really peaceful. There are 3 bus stations near to the location which is really good. Down stair apartments have their own tiny garden which is really good and it gives your apartment a new character and you can do your own gardening. They tried to help apartments to use natural light which is awesome. If you seat in front of your apartment around 6-7 oclock you can see beautiful sunset and have a great view of sky and at night you can see clear sky with stars.Another good thing about BLue Agve APts is that they have CC cameras and gates around the building. They do background check and credit check so it shows that they value they residents safety. At the end I highly recommend these apartments if you are student or new to the city or even a family seeking an affordable and peaceful place to live and have fun.

Yes - we love that our location is close to downtown Tucson and both the U of A and Pima Community College yet off the main avenues so it is peaceful and quiet. Thank you for your comments about our community.
The apartments are great and very quiet. I loved living there while attending college in Tucson. They are older apartments, so do not expect the highest finishes, but they are fixed up well are nicely taken care of. If you have any problems, just contact Terry and Terri, and they will solve it in a hurry. They are a very sweet couple and great landlords, which is rare nowadays. If I ever had to live in Tucson, I would not hesitate to rent a place here.

Terry and Terri, friendly landlords who want the best for you. They enjoy working at Blue Agave Apartments and it shows in how they treat their tenants. I really grew to love my place there. Not that I ever needed it but terry would always be around for handiwork if needed.
