Property Ratings at Blue Note
Lighthouse Property Management sucks, they don't care about their residents. Apartments are cheaply renovated and done poorly.
Place is infested with rodents and bugs. They have pest control come every Friday and it still isn’t enough. The hallways smell and the trash is always full with garbage all over the parking lot. Not to mention the area is terrible, just live further away from downtown for the same price if this is your budget.
Incompetent office staff who only care about taking your money, Rat and roach infested, prostitution and gangs run wild at the gas station in front of the complex, people are gross af and it’s just extremely dangerous
“Cute” apartment. I received lots of compliments on the bathroom (which is the nicest thing in the unit). Maintenance comes very fast (shoutout to Charlie) and the landscaping is good. Those are the good things about the apartment. Now for the not so good things. The place is INFESTED which roaches and other bugs. It’s so bad that you can smell the musty smell that roaches apparently have (I didn’t know that until I asked someone what the smell was). They will try to fine you for the craziest things, yet the facilities are raggedy (lights and fixtures dangling and lights flickering in hallways). There are no amenities. They say that they have a “fitness center” which is a joke and there isn’t a pool, and a useless tennis court. It’s NOTHING. The price is definitely not worth what you get. ITS OVER PRICED!!! Also, if you are moving from out of state/town, this area is the hood! I didn’t know it moving here but I can tell you that it is THE HOOD. There is a “corner store”‘at the entrance of the apartment and it is full of drug feens and insane people. The complex itself seems to be pretty secure (although the gate doesn’t work) but the area in which it is in is NOT SO SAFE.
I wished I read the previous review before! Same thing happened to me, you apply, you pay $350, then the unit is not available any more! Unlike the previous guy, I never got refound, they never answer to my emails nor to phone calls! This place is a joke!!
I applied for an apartment here, which was currently under renovation. I was promised it would be ready by a certain date, which ended up not being true. I had paid $350 for the application, $300 of which was supposed to be refundable. 3 months later, after numerous calls and visits to the office, and being given a runaround numerous times, I am told that a check is in the mail, but only for $150, not the agreed upon amount. This place is a joke, and waste of time. Personnel on site are nice, but the management are abysmal. Don't believe anything they tell you. Awful awful company.
