Blue Sol

I’ve lived here for 3 years now and it’s clear the company has made budget cuts despite raising rents to insane prices. The property used to be well kept by a lovely cleaning crew and a team of landscapers, even the maintenance workers used to pressure wash the drive way on a weekly basis. All of that is gone, one guy cleans and he spends most of his time on the phone aimlessly walking around the property… the maintenance guy is nice but must be overworked between properties because he doesn’t spend much time on property or if he does he’s not out doing the extras the previous guys did. The hallways are lined with dog hair, matted with dog urine (including the elevator) and have only been cleaned once in the 3 years I’ve been here. BBQ’s and fire pits are always filthy and or broken… Just not worth the price anymore, it’s fine if cleanliness doesn’t matter to you though.

I have lived here for 7 years. I’ve been reluctant to move because of the location but it is extremely over priced for what you get. It’s gone downhill after the pandemic. The pool and gym are always filthy. There’s always homeless drug addicts in the alley way and they do get on property. I have had repeated issues with safety here. There’s been at least a dozen instances of my unit or my car being vandalized or me experiencing some form of harassment. The property has been beyond unhelpful. They will not install surveillance in the halls or garage to protect residents and their property but will do it in common areas to protect their own interests. This is a common feeling amongst those that live here. Know that you will not have any of your concerns addressed in a productive way ever. I’ve asked to be contacted by a supervisor those requests were ignored. I will likely move into one of the other local less high complexes because if I’m going to feel this unsafe and have this much stress and difficulty living somewhere I’d rather not be paying these inflated prices. It’s the 3rd most expensive property in the city and feels as unsafe as the cheapest. I’d strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. You won’t get your moneys worth here.

Blue Sol is a gem right in downtown costa mesa, but it's not just the location that makes this place great, it's the people that manage the building. Lucia and Chandy are hands down some of the best property managers I've had, and they really do care about all of their residents. There's a lot of great places to live but having the extra care from Lucia and Chandy make Blue Sol worth it. -Austen

I love living here! The courtyard is beautiful, the parking is extremely convenient and easy, and the management is so friendly and helpful!

Absolutely recommend anyone to live here at Blue Sol. The building is peaceful and the apartment homes are spacious with privacy throughout - Im very happy here and hope to renew my lease when the time comes.

Best apartment complex! I absolutely love living here and would not change a thing. This place is the best whether it is the location, amenities, service, it cant be beat.

I absolutely love it here. Gone are the days of neighbors who don't know each other and rarely interact. Here, the residents are always out and about happily mingling amongst the many beautiful amenities. Having guests come over and their ability to get in and out of the property securely and simply is such a plus. The well thought out designs and decorations are part of my love for living here.

Excellent experience since day 1 of looking at the unit. Everyone has been so helpful and very open and warm welcoming. I absolutely love the building , the unit and especially the management/on site team. They go above and beyond to make sure youre comfortable and feeling at home. I love living at Blue Sol!

I moved in about 6 months ago and am so happy we did! The apartment it self is beautiful, lots of space and two patios (woot!) The building is quiet, clean and plenty of parking for guests. The staff is so wonderful and helpful. Definitely planning on staying until I'm ready to buy a home!

I’ve lived here since February of this year and I have to say Lucia and Chandy are the best! Since the beginning, they’ve been super helpful and super friendly. I’ve moved around the country quite a bit for work, and I must say this is probably the best complex I’ve stayed at. You truly get what you pay for. The apartments are spacious, love the in-unit laundry and the patio!! For the first time in a while the apartment ACTUALLY looks like the pictures lol. I would’ve definitely stayed here with the Blue Sol fam if I didn’t have to leave for work!!

So we moved in about a month ago and everything so far is amazing. I love the staff and I love the amount of space you get when you rent from here! Lucia down in the office couldn’t be nicer. Very dog friendly. Awesome to have so many close amenities and be a couple mile drive from the beach! Respectfully, Christian S

I’ve lived here for almost a month with my boyfriend and so far we love it! The ladies in the leasing office are so sweet, we both find ourselves chatting with them every time we see them and they love dogs. There are so many dogs in the complex and a dog park. It’s small but it does the job. The location is great, we’re right next to a ton of restaurants and it’s a quick 10 min drive to the beach to watch the sunset. We can’t wait to make use of the amenities when the lockdown restrictions are lifted. Plus the maintenance staff is responsive and super quick on work orders.

We love living at Blue Sol. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We are happy to recommend the property to all of our friends.

Blue Sol is a unique community all it's own with strength in it's ability to offer a touch of resort style paradise in the mist of unfortunate current events. The entire staff from leasing to maintenance provide comfort and ease by their carefree mannerisms combined with the warmth of home. I have lived at Blue Sol for about 4 months now and I am so pleased with my choice to live here!! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the facilities are always clean and I really get the feeling every resident takes pride in living here. I know I do!

Do not live here. The apartment layouts are super nice (were in a dual master) and the patio space, bathroom finishes, appliances, etc., are fine. However, the luxury amenities that you pay for are never in good condition let alone working, the shared spaces are dirty and there is little attention to detail by management throughout the entire complex. The front office staff is rude and unprofessional and do not want to help if its something you are critiquing them on. We will be moving out at the end of our lease.

Blue Sol management was amazing through the process of applying and finalizing the lease. I am so happy to be living at Blue Sol with it's great amenities, easy location and friendly neighbors.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! As soon as I toured I knew I wanted to live here. The staff bends over backwards for you and the location is incredible. I couldnt ask for a better place to live in my 20s.

Absolutely love living here. There is ALWAYS TONS of guest parking and the maintenance team goes out of their way to help EVERYONE! Changed my tire for me even when I had a flat! Best place to live in Costa Mesa by far. Very very satisfied with the service

The apartment is conveniently located next markets, a movie theater, and a variety of restaurants and attractions. They offer some great amenities for everyone to enjoy. There's a clubhouse with a pool table, TV, and a shuffleboard. The gym is pretty nice too! I haven't had any issues with noisy neighbors. Also, the people in the leasing office/maintenance have been amazing and very helpful. Each month, they host an event, like food truck night or wine and paint night, that promotes a sense of community. Overall, I have enjoyed living at Blue Sol and hope to continue to call this my home for the next few years!

Blue Sol is a great place to live, the location is convenient to the 55 freeway and Newport. Like anywhere, stuff happens but the staff tries to take the time to do whatever they can to help fix the problems and although they might not always be able since some stuff is out of their control, their effort makes up for it. So far so good here! Fun community events like a Wine & Paint Night and Food Trucks.
