Property Ratings at Bluestone Apartments
You work hard and pay your rent on time but can't live comfortably in your apartment. Not fair but that's life I guess. I get tired of smelling weed from my neighbor who smokes it everyday. The premises has an no smoking policy but they don't pay that any mind. So if you have allergies and health problems do not move here because you run the risk of smelling your neighbor's weed.
This is one of the worst complexes I have ever lived at. They issue fines with no rhyme or reason, and for any amount they feel like, and don’t follow the rules of their own lease. The garbage cans are constantly overflowing and they try to put the blame on residents instead of installing another garbage can or scheduling additional pick up days. There is no available visitor parking. There are no amenities and you will get very familiar with the police officers in the area because they are called here often. Signing this year long lease was a terrible decision and living here has been a nightmare.
This apartment complex was a nightmare from start to finish.. The apartment itself is beautiful but, with horrible parking, no on site management, hidden fees... I highly suggest you look elsewhere. This place is a rip off and waste of money
There isn’t enough parking for residents nor visitors. There’s literally five visitor spots. This apartment complex also has a contract with Ace Towing and if your car doesn’t have a parking sticker that matches the spot you’re in, your car may be gone in the morning. The apartments themselves are ok.
Property Manager at Bluestone Apartments, Responded To This Review
You are correct that we do have assigned parking and designated visitor spots as well as open street parking this is not something we hide from potential renters in fact we advertise the assigned parking as most find this to be a benefit rather than a hinderance. Each prospective resident is shared our parking policy and signs a parking addendum upon leasing with the community to further communicate our parking policy. If you were inconvenienced by our parking policy I apologize but we have the policy for the overall good of the community. On a final note, we are told upon approval of construction how many parking spaces we are required to have according to Code and I can assure we follow those guidelines. Thank you for your feedback.
Good looking apartment, w/ stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and laminate flooring. Good size bed and bath. Open concept living/kitchen/dining area. Ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms. Location is convenient. Dog park is still under construction, other than this, the community is small so there isn't much room for other amenities. Walls and ceilings are very thin and most of the time I can hear my neighbors stomping and details of their conversations. Can also hear a lot of outside noise and whenever someone comes and gos. Patios are very big but are not at all private, everyone has a full view. No trash removal, but there is a dumpster and mixed recycling in the back of the complex. Does not include washer and dryer. Many similarly priced apartments in the area do have washer and dryer included. Does not have garden tubs, which you would expect for a luxury apartment. The parking situation has the potential to be a nightmare. Community is small and tight so the parks are very small. I worry a lot about my car doors getting banged up or someone backing into me. Limited to 1 space in a one BR and 2 spaces for the two and three BR. If someone is in your spot you don't have anywhere to park. Now if you have more than one person in your household that drives, you have to rent an additional space, but there aren't many of those either. No visitor parking inside the complex. There is a small space along Fox Rd where visitors can parallel park (about 3-4 spaces). Currently a temporary office, but there will not always be an office on site. You can submit work orders and pay rent online, which is convenient.
