GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!
Such a great find for the valley. I was searching for FOREVER to find a place, and they have Studio apartments (that are actually more like Jr. 1 BR) for under $1000. I was so pleased. The building is older (from the 70's I think), so there aren't many of the modern amenities that you'll find in more recent complexes (i.e. pool, gym, free wifi, doorman, etc), but it is located in a GREAT area and comes with parking. The managers are always attentive and ready to help if you need anything. The previous renter in my apartment had been a heavy smoker, so much so that even the refrigerator smelled like cigs, but Gary (the property manager) just swapped in a new one at no extra cost to me. There is a shopping center with Ralphs, Rite-Aid, Starbucks, and some food spots right behind the complex, great neighbors, quiet and peaceful. Only other downsides would be the street can get crowded if you have guests over and the laundry machines are a little expensive: $1.50 for a wash and $1.25 for dryer. Other than that, I totally recommend living here!
