Love this place. Maintenance requests are handled IMMEDIATELY and the guys are always respectful, efficient, and quick. Keep up the great work, team, and thank you for everything you do.

The staff are amazingly supportive and I love the location.
I have very mixed feeling about this apartment complex. Maintenance is fantastic and always quick with work orders. I also love how we have a ranger that patrols now. Makes me feel a lot safer. I don’t love how a lot of people break rules within the lease (tying dogs up, having things in the halls that breaks fire code, or leaving dogs on patio for hours while they’re barking). Especially when the office is notified and nothing is done. I have tried calling the office multiple times with concerns but no one contacts me back. I’ve even emailed the manager with no reply when she told me to reach out to her. I think communication is lacking and I work full time so I’m not able to go into the office for help usually. I’ve given up on reporting things to the office because nothing ever seems to change.
This apartment complex seemed great at first but looks can be deceiving. For one yes the visitor parking is completely unfair. Not even my friend that lives there got her second car back groin the tow place but was never reimbursed either. They're real quick to say ur a couple days late on rent and they'll come inside ur place but can't hand out parking passes to the tenants who will need more than 1. That's ridiculous, another thing yes there is a cockroach infestation. We're constantly cleaning and spraying our own chemicals and nothing helps. They're even in the brick wall outside of the complex. It's just ridiculous that this seems to continue with how much the rent is they should honestly make their tenants comfortable. Also I've heard from other tenants that their bills have also increased within the last 4 months. Austin isn't cheap and everyone could use some peace in their lives here at blunn creek apartments. It's time management or whomever runs the show realize they have very unsatisfied tenants and do something about it. Extremely annoyed and looking for a different place very soon.
Today they informed the tenants there will be no more visitor parking! That if your friends and family want to visitor, you have to go to the office and get a visitor pass. What if someone come to visitor you in the evening or on the weekend and the office is closed! That means J & J Towing will tow their car because you can't get a pass! THIS IS SO UNFAIR, THAT PAY YOUR RENT BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE ANYONE COME VISIT YOU WITHOUT THE OFFICE BEING NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE, SOMETIMES YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHEN SOMEONE IS COMING OVER!
In 2 years of living here, have experienced all of the following: - being towed 2 times with proper stickers/registration/inside of parking lines and resident area. Towing company said "take it up with the apartments". Keep in mind this is affordable housing. These apartments are literally robbing their own broke residents cause they get a % of the towing fees -visitor towed because the "VISITOR" paint on the ground was faded. Visitor had taken a picture just in case & after being towed they showed apartments & towing company but they wouldn't release the car because "then they would have to do it for everyone" -BLACK MOLD. For several months reached out to management to come look into it due to symptoms of everyone in the household (migraines, major allergy symptoms, persistent coughing, wet smell). They refused to do mold testing in the air. They found mold in our roof and AC vents and painted over it. Told us to tell them if it comes back. -cockroach infestation. At night when you turn on a light at least 30-40 tiny cockroaches scatter underneath the carpet no matter how clean. A bug guy comes out (you have to get on the list), we've done that more times than you can count & doesn't help. -building next to us has a rat infestation. Multiple neighbors are talking about it and office will do nothing as it is "the residents responsibility". They have found multiple rat nest/holes and apartments are full of rat poop and pee and concerned for the health of their children. -CONSTANT false fire alarms. My husband logged how many times and the duration of the false ear piercing alarms which equivalates to over 30 hours in one month. Between the hours of 2am until early afternoon. My children wake up in fear I've been without a good night sleep in months. Our neighbors & I have expressed concerns to management and they said "they are annoyed too because they get fined". -Front gate is always broken but rest assured that the only criminals to worry about in these apartments are staff. -not enough parking for visitors or residents. I live in fear of having to pay 200 being towed so when I come home I drive in circles for sometimes 30 mins or more waiting for someone to leave. I don't mind walking. There are no spots in the entire complex. they recently got rid of the street parking. I dread the day that no spots open up at night and I get towed for parking in visitor or have to park a mile away down the street.
I have lived at Blunn Creek for 3 years now and I love it. The office is friendly and they take care of any issues I have right away.
I can't go back to school because it is prohibited in their lease. Maintenance is terrible and it's opposite of energy efficient bills are through the roof

I drive by these apartments everyday and i finally decided to take a look inside. It was great and so spacious. Im really considering moving in.
I have lived in this complex for three years. They are very good about taken care of your maintenance issues. Could be a little better with garbage pick-up. They are friendly and helpful in the office. Recently updated the Gym and Laundry Room. Lots of dogs here and most tenants are respectful of others with cleaning up after their dogs. A few do not no matter hos many notices are sent out. That should be enforced beter
This is the best apartments in this area. I feel this area is very safe. I love the way the property is laid out. When it rains hard, the water drains very good. There's a lot of park for the residents, and, plenty of visitor parking. They are pet friendly and they furnish dog mess bags.
This is exactly what you want if you are young, adventurous and new to Austin, Texas. Blunn Creek is affordable, less than a mile from South Congress in one direction and less than a mile to 35 in the other direction. Fairly large and spacious are the actual apartments with plenty of room to put your own personal spin into your space! The staff is friendly and attentive and works with its tenants instead of constantly battling and rationalizing your needs. You've got access to a gym and pool along with a great sense of community. Our city is growing but everyone here keeps up that amazing Austin spirit. Welcome home!
