Property Ratings at Boardwalk at Inverrary
I’ve been here for five months I love inside my apartment but they did a sloppy job at renovating !anyways I’m scared to use elevators and stair case because it smells horrible with cigarettes and urine Feel like I’m suffocating in there the elevator is always dirty! People that lives here are nasty! I can see that the maintenance try to maintain the property clean but the people here mess it up once it’s been clean . I think the owners can do a better job with the building especially the children playground I reported the playground numerous of times and they did nothing about it! The playground has been there for years! And it’s starting to break down and Russ iron metal sticking out sharp rusty metals flaking when your child slides it’s dangerous so I stop bringing my baby there! I don’t think it will cost anything to just get a new playground!
I have been living here for 6 months now and right off the bat, there were some annoying quirks. For one, they make you pay your deposit with money orders which results in you needing to buy like 6 money orders. Entering into the elevator you are greeted with a dirty and grimy elevator but the stairs are equally grimy and gross. Many times there is a urine smell that I can't quite figure out. The apartment I got was recently renovated so it was surprisingly nice for an apartment but the experience of living here is just not that enjoyable. Fire alarms going off, roaches and at least twice a month they shut down the water for a good 8 hours making it horrible for people who are home to spend time in their apartment. I can't stress enough how annoying it is to pay a water bill every month yet almost twice a month, have an 8 hour span where you can't flush the toilet or get water. Another thing that is very frustrating is the fact that you can have your rent on autopay but not the water, which really just makes setting up autopay for the rent seem pointless. They say its cuz the water varies month to month but that's the same basic way all utilities work and yet I've never had one where I couldn't have it on auto pay. All in all it's been acceptable and for the money I guess you can't expect any better. One thing I do like is they they allow larger dogs, that's a hard thing to find in apartments. Boardwalk shows potential, it may be great one day but for now it's just not a great complex and I look forward to moving.
I would give a -5 star if I could, the people writing good reviews are paid or just plain lying for another reason. This place is not what it advertises, go in person and will see for yourself, extremely rundown, they pee/poop in the elevators. Nightmare, stairs are unsafe I almost fell and reported this and said they can do nothing about this including people or their pets peeing in the elevators which are down, you pay for water which is turned off every two weeks for hours. Roaches, rats, mold, bad smells-drugs, Papa Johns refuses to deliver pizza there and some other companies as well
This is the worse apartment you can even live in ! Maintenance sucks and management sucks . There was mildew on my shower roof and I reported it . The maintenance guy came and cleaned it with a baby whip ?? My cabinets have been falling apart since I’ve moved in , I put a request for them to be fixed 3 times and nothing has been done . I’ve been here for a year now . The roaches are terrible! It’s disgusting! The hallways and stairwell always smell like pee and have need cans everywhere . The gym hasn’t been opened since I’ve moved in either . But they want to raise the rent this year like what ?! Nothing great has been done to these apartments for the rent to even go up . This place is disgusting.
I have been living at this place for two years and will not be renewing my lease. The management and staff are lazy. I have never been late on my rent so when problems occur I expect for the staff to take care of these problems. Recently I have had several issues with maintenance and mold in my apartment unit. I taken several pictures and attached them to the maintenance request without little response and action. The staff in the office will not answer your calls and when you leave a message they will not return them as well. The apartment manager hides in the office and doesn't interact with the residents. Animals are another problem as well. There are some residents who will leave their dogs on the patio while it barks continuously. I have address this issue with the staff in the office without any actions taken and the dogs continue to bark. The only good about this place is the cheap cost but after a year they will increase the rent by $75 dollars and say that the market price has increased.
Pictures can be very conceiving, I went to go see this place I didn't even go in to the leasing office because it looks so disgusting, dirty.
Was skeptical when I came to visit the property at first based on all the bad reviews but, it’s very nice on the contrary to what the reviews say. Been living here for almost 5 months now, and no roaches/insects in our unit. It has a lot to do w/ how you live. If you live in filth, expect filth. This place is extremely peaceful, and the management team gets things done when we submit a request within the same week. We love it. ??
This place is very affordable and looks nice exterior/interior but it is a living nightmare. It is infested with roaches. Everything in the unit is broken. Our unit flooded every time there was a hard rain and we were on the fourth floor. The faucet water is bad. My family got sore throats every time we drank it. Had to buy water. Most sad of all there is mold in the walls. My family and I were sick, in and out of hospital from the second week we moved in. This building really needs to be reported and torn down.
