When the Woodlands was created as a master-planned community, the developers wanted to retain as much of the natural, wooded landscape as possible. As a result, this aptly-named community features 135 parks, 210 miles of hiking and bicycling trails, more than 1,800 acres of open green space, and 14 swimming pools. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion provides an open-air concert site, and several lakes and canals -- including the vast Lake Woodlands -- add even more beauty to the community. The Woodlands is home to several golf courses, including the Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course, the Tournament Course at the Woodlands Country Club, and the Club at Carlton Woods: Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
While apartments in the Woodlands are terrific for commuters -- just 28 miles north of Downtown Houston and directly off I-45 -- the Woodlands is no longer considered the bedroom community it was designed to be.

Wonderful place to live. Staff is super friendly and always ready to assist. Maintenance is top notch. The walkability score is the main reason I live here. I would give that a 10 out of 10. Many have lived in these apartments for years and rarely needed a car. Whole foods, HEB, restaurants, many retail stores within walking distance.

This property is constantly and successfully doing things to keep common areas clean and neat. The maintenance team is amazing. They are often available the same day I put in a request (even to change a lightbulb!) The office staff are friendly and always helpful. Perfect central location, beautiful Falls and Winters here with all the trees and lights. Staff has always been nice and helpful. Only small downfall is that these are older buildings but everything else kinda makes up for it.

So far, everything here has been amazing! Residents are friendly, along with staff. It’s a nice quiet area, which I was concern about being right across from the fire station and Pavilion. We’ve enjoyed the amenities and quality of the apartment so far. We were a bit spoiled living in old builds before with thicker walls so we rarely heard our neighbors. Overall, the Boardwalk is a great apartment complex in a wonderful location (but you definitely pay for that luxury.

Been here 6 months and only rear complaint is the # of times water gets turned off in bldg 5. Maintenance guys are phenomenal!! Any time we have an issue, they are on it. Had a problem with the refrigerator after the hurricane and they wouldn’t rest until it was fixed right. Office staff are nice to talk to and helpful. Best apartment experience in the area!!

Enjoy living at the Boardwalk Apartments. The maintenance team is superb . The outside and inside are well taken care of. Walking score would be a 10 out of 10 as there is so much to do in the area. If the weather is bad then catch the trolley instead of walking. I love living here.

We have been here a year and still loving it! The leasing office staff are friendly, helpful, and care about the residents. (Shout out to Will, Taylor, and Madlynn in no particular order because they are all awesome!). The facility guys are amazing as well. Always quick to respond and resolve any issues that may arise. The location cannot be beat either! Looking forward to renewing!

I have really liked living here so far. The parking situation could use some improvement and the traffic from events is a pain. Other than that, great service and great location!

First apartment we've ever lived in that has had such responsive and amazing maintenance services. Each request we have had, we were contacted the same day or the next, and our request was immediately fixed. They are great. The office staff is very professional and extremely responsive as well, and works hard to make living here a fun experience (food trucks, happy hour, free wine Wednesdays,...) We've really loved living here.

Boardwalk management pays attention to upkeep of the complex. This summer we have seen their attention to detail maintaining the complex's exterior. That attention to detail goes down to everyday maintenance like keeping up the main pool and barbecue grills.

Great location close to Waterway, Mall, Trolley and grocery store. Convenient for kayaking on the lake. Close walk to the mall and restaurants. Perfect for firework events, festivals and concerts
