Stretched along the Mississippi River, Saint Louis is the second most populous city in Missouri. Regarded as the Gateway to the West, Saint Louis was the starting point of Lewis and Clark’s infamous expedition. Saint Louis’ most iconic landmark, the Gateway Arch, is a memorial celebrating the nation’s westward expansion.
In addition to its rich history, Saint Louis offers residents access to exceptional amenities and culture. An apartment in Saint Louis affords you the opportunity to climb sculptures composed of reclaimed building materials at the one-of-a-kind City Museum, or watch the Cardinals play ball at Busch Stadium.
Hit the town and catch a performance at the Fabulous Fox, or indulge in some retail therapy at the massive Saint Louis Outlet Mall. There’s incredible architecture to admire in the Washington Avenue Historic District, or you could experience the flora and fauna on display at the Saint Louis Zoo and Missouri Botanical Garden.

Property Ratings at Bonhomme Village
i have taken this apartment on a short lease for 3 months. One of the most expensive places on rent. the flooring and household items provided are not upto modern day standards. Secondly, the management have treated me in a unfair manner. They expect me to give them a 60 day notice to vacate even though my lease was for 3 month. very unhappy with they Property manager Neha spoke , they have made NO attempts to check if i m going stay or vacate. i felt they were using the all possible tricks to extract money from me. I donot recommend this property , there are better places to live in olivette.
Property Manager at Bonhomme Village, Responded To This Review
We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a more positive experience with us at Bonhomme Village. We offer 3-12 month leases and the lease price increases as the term gets shorter. We follow the National Apartment Association lease which is widely used and have to uphold the notice period for all residents. We apologize if you believe you were treated unfairly and hope you have a better experience for the rest of your stay.
I lived there for 3 months last summer, and thought they deserved a review, since most people only post reviews if they're unhappy. Move-in was pretty easy. We started our lease one day early so furniture could be moved in, but because of a storm, they didn't have it ready in time, and we had to spend the weekend without furniture, but it was understandable. (There was a giant tree that knocked out the power lines) The apartment was in good shape for its age. There was brand new carpet and vinyl, and it looked like a fresh coat of paint, too. Minor damage, but completely expected from an apartment (small cracks, bath cabinet water stained, etc.) Overall, it looked pretty nice. They're apartments, so if your neighbors are loud, you hear them. Simple as that. Fortunately, our neighbors were all courteous, and we didn't have any problems. All our appliances worked well. The air conditioners are kind of old, so they're a bit noisy and not very efficient, but the rest of the appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) worked great. We had no issues with maintenance. Right after moving in, a spotlight bulb burnt out, and they came the next day to replace it. We also had an accident where one of those 3M hooks came off the wall and took 1/8" thick of paint with it (they clearly repaint a lot). Maintenance came within a few days and repaired it without charging us anything. The landscaping is gorgeous, and the fountains are pretty. Most of the apartments are removed from the road, so there is no annoying road noise, and the only traffic is residents. The pool was open for most of the summer, and besides the typical bugs in outdoor pools, seemed relatively clean. They re-filled it once during our stay. The fitness center is small, and mostly just has machines, a couple treadmills, and a few kettle bells, but is sufficient for most workouts, unless you're a big lifter. Open 24 hours, so convenient. Move-out was hassle-free too. Only thing that bit us once was that the rent timetable is very strict. You only get a few days to pay rent before being charged an extra fee, and there are no notifications if you missed the deadline. We accidentally setup our automatic withdrawal incorrectly and had to pay an extra $50 fee. I think this is due to the way their management company, Mills Apartments handles things, and not due to the management at Bonhomme specifically. Overall though, I was very pleased with our stay.
