The Cheyenne Hills neighborhood lies four miles south of Downtown Colorado Springs and all of the city’s cultural and nightlife options. The neighborhood features the World Arena, Colorado Springs’ premier concert and sports venue. The arena hosts plenty of big-name acts all year round. In January and February, locals flock to the venue to watch the Colorado College Tigers play ice hockey.
Cheyenne Hills gets its name from Cheyenne Mountain which lies less than six miles to the south. The mountain rests within Cheyenne Mountain State Park, which contains over 2,700 acres of prairie-to-mountain land, 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, a campground and an archery range. In only a 12-minute drive, locals can hike, bike and camp inside this lovely park.

Property Ratings at Bonterra Lakeside Apartments
We love the area, it's cozy and love the fact that the lake is walkable which is awesome in the summer if you like water sports. Everything is fairly close by with Target, movie theater, bus stops, etc. Fireplace saved us on heating expenses and we never needed to turn on the heater. The garage was a must for my car due to the hail we get in Colorado. We didn't have break ins unlike some of the other residents we heard about with their garages. They worked with us when both of our jobs were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to do payment plans on rent. What we didn't like was rent skyrocketing each renewal to the point it's pushing us out. Our appliances kept breaking. During our 18 month lease we had a fridge go out (lost about $250 worth of food) and our "new" dishwasher broke the third time we ran it. The dishwasher before it ran until like three months into the lease. Even now the "new" dishwasher keeps making unusual sounds during the cycle. Whirlpool person didn't leave anything or tell us about what they found or what the solution will be. They didn't fix anything with this dishwasher despite the multiple requests for maintenance.

Thank you for your review, we are glad that you enjoy our location and garages. The new dishwasher would be under the manufacturer's warranty and the manufacturer's trained technician that you mentioned would be able to ensure that the dishwasher is operating properly. Rent prices have increased because our area is so desirable, however we do limit the renewal increase amounts for our residents so most renewal rates are actually lower than what the rent of the apartment would normally be. We hope to continue adding value to your stay here and if there is anything we can do for you please don't hesitate to let us know!
The management at Bonterra is the best I have ever been with. They are personable and extremely helpful. They are always happy and willing to answer my questions. Living at Bonterra is one of the best apartment experiences we've had, the staff is always willing to help and maintenance is always on top of things. The amenities are awesome and one of the main perks is that Bonterra one of the most pet friendly apartments we've ever lived in. No weight limits for pets and the only breed restriction is Pit Bulls. Their dog park is awesome and the community has lots of walking trails with trail access to Quail Lake.

My husband, a couple of friends and I went in to look at apartments. And WOW! The staff (especially Stacy) were just absolutely amazing! They were all so helpful and nice. Stacy was willing to work with us and find a time frame to move in that would best suit us. They even stayed late so we could fill out the applications, and answer any questions that we had. If I could rate them higher I definitely would! I can’t wait to move into our new home!

We have only lived here for about 3 months but feels like much longer it is so homey and welcoming. the office staff Brian and Martina are so helpful and personable and attentive to your questions and concerns. The location is so peaceful surrounded by nature with beautiful pine trees, natural landscaping, and very nearby Quail Lake. I hope to stay here for a l ong time.

Been living here for 10 months, nice and quiet, some peple do not pick up their dog poo. Apartments are clean and nice, pool is clean, parking is a pain first come first serve. Bonterra is a nice place to live some of the people live here r rude and like i said dont pick up after the dogs.
This apartment offers spectacular mountain views and city scape! Perfectly located for restaurants, shopping and entertainment. What more could you want
