A charming historical town located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, Boone was named after the famous explorer and pioneer, Daniel Boone. Home to Appalachian State University, Boone exudes a lively college town spirit while retaining the ruggedness of its pioneering past. Boone is also regarded as one of the best outdoor destinations in the Southeast, equipped with endless vistas of the High Country.
Renting in Boone allows you to explore an outdoor wonderland, whether you prefer to go fly-fishing, canoeing, zip lining, white water rafting, black diamond skiing, or cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway. Residents enjoy a strong sense of community in addition to plenty of natural beauty, crisp mountain air, farm-to-table restaurants, antique stores, and museums in Boone.

Property Ratings at Boone Student Living
Overall I feel it is a good apartment for college students. Nothing fancy and very spacious. Only downside is the addition of monthly parking fees this year which I find absurd.
I loved living with Boone student living!! They were so friendly and helpful and I always felt at home! They were also very accommodating with my ESA
It’s been alright living here at Greenway Commons. We have extremely loud downstairs neighbors that blast music after midnight and no one has done anything to stop them. Utilities are old and always breaking. Other than that the apartment itself is nice and extremely pet friendly. On a side note paying for parking this year is ridiculous as we don’t even have visitor parking spots.
The apartment is amazing. You get your hang for your buck. The area it is in is safe and good. Plan on staying here for all 3 years. Office staff is great
Pros: - Appalcart on site - Fire pit - Great maintenance - Two different bus routes run by here which is a perk - Close by walmart/grocery stores/fast food - Cleaner than The Cottages Cons: - No visitor parking - No gym or pool or great amenities that make the monthly rent deem worthy - The "dog park" area is extremely sad and not kept up with at all to the extent I have never seen anyone use it - honestly would be concerned if they did. - The fridge size is too small for the amount of people living within the apartment. Overall, I have enjoyed this apartment complex and living here, but there are defiantly times where I wonder what it would have been like to have lived somewhere else.

Love the location of our complex. Maintenance is always quick and friendly. Management could be more helpful and polite. Along with this added amenities would be great considering rent continues to go up.

Apartment is very large and spacious for the price. One thing that is hard is the parking situation. In the back row of the top lot, the spaces are very tight and if a car is parked on both sides of you it is very difficult to get into your car. Other than that, maintenance and office staff are very nice but sometimes neighbors can be loud and since walls are not very sound proof, you can hear everything that goes on outside the apartment. Sometimes the heating/cooling system can be very weird but is manageable but something to be aware of is the smoke detectors in the kitchen are very sensitive so you have to be aware when cooking.
Great property, maintenance is quick to assess issues and know what the problem is. Parking situation is a little screwed, my car barely fits in half of the spots with enough room to open my doors

It has just been average experience. price could be cheaper for the fact that there isn’t much included with the apartment complex. Parking can be a pain. The gym is awful and needs to be redone.

The community is okay. Definitely a lot better than some of the other apartment complexes in Boone. But neighbors are noisy always blasting music at night and always smoking weed or something. People leave trash everywhere which is very inconsiderate and rude to the apartment workers.

The apartment itself is really nice and has a lot of space, and it is in a good location. There is a pothole on the road leading up to the parking lot that hasn't gotten fixed in a long time. Maintenance also takes a long time to complete requests.

The apartment spaces are very open and spacious. I have never had an issue with parking or having to find a spot to park. The location is perfect as we can take back roads to avoid traffic to get to campus and grocery stores. Maintenance team responds quickly and gets things fixed in a very timely manner while being respectful and nice.

Stay away. Bathrooms are a nightmare. Maintenance takes forever to respond to emergencies. Terrible management, terrible property.
