Property Ratings at Boulder Creek
My stay at Boulder creek was okay as long as I didn't have to deal with the staff or have maintenance issues because they are rude and take too long to repair things. I also just moved out and they are keeping my $500 security deposit. I spent a full day trying to leave the apartment as clean as possible but that didn't matter they keep it all and are charging me $50 more. Don't waste your time cleaning when you move out.

I have lived here for 2+ years and the neighborhood seems to be getting worse. Staff is okay but do not respond to emails or concerns. Always bump up the rent 5% each time. If I knew what I know now, I would not have moved in.

I've lived here for two years, and management has changed three times - not the best sign of a well-managed facility. Yes, the prices are reasonable. But living here, you have to make certain compromises. Some units come with a garage - but you're more likely to do damage to your car trying to squeeze into the narrow opening. There aren't enough laundry facilities (unless you're willing to pay premium rent for a pool-side apartment, which has the most access to laundry machines). The plumbing is terrible and the water shuts off at least once a month, or you won't have hot water for a few days. Also - be weary of the neighborhood. There's a car crash on the corner every couple of months, the intersection is noisy 24/7, and at least three times a year, there's a murder down the street. Pros: It's a five minute walk from the local Starbucks, and there's a great auto-mechanic shop within walking distance as well (ProTrans Auto).

They will drain your money out. The worst experience ever. When we moved out they tried to keep the money from the deposit. They even charged us from damaged things that were like that before we move in.

I have lived here for less than a year and it seems like every month there is something broken, needing service, being painted, or some other inconvenience. The maintenance crew is nice, but overworked and understaffed. I also got cockroaches once and they had to spray my place, which was a major hassle and very distressing. They spray for insects every week which shows 1. they are on top of the issue, but 2. they have a major issue. They also have a bad auto-pay system so if you don't notice whether your rent was auto-paid, you'll be charged $100 for late rent and have to pay with a cashier's check (I ALWAYS pay my rent on time, but their system makes you set up an expiration date for autopay, which is how that happened). The rent also increases every time your lease is up so it won't be affordable for me to live here pretty soon (and I have a good paying job) - and it was already pretty expensive to begin with. Also, packages often get delivered to the leasing office instead of your apartment, so that can be a hassle to deal with sometimes, especially if you order a lot of stuff online. On the up side, it was easy to move in (I needed a place fast), the staff are always super nice, the pool and hot tubs are nice (except for giving us PINK EYE), neighbors keep to themselves, the community is relatively quiet (unless your apartment is by the parking lot where you'll hear lots of big trucks, garbage trucks, motorcycles, and also leaf-blowers all day), it has nice appliances and amenities overall, central AC is great when it works, bay windows and wood floors are nice, and I liked the cabin-like feel when I moved in but they have since painted all the apartments white or gray so now it still looks nice, but generic. It's a convenient place to live, near UCR and major freeways. Knowing what I know now, I would not have moved here.

I thought it couldn’t get any worse here at boulder creek apts but the new management is so Terrible and they treat the tennents like garbage! I have had a leaky ceiling for 7 months with a disabled child trying to not slip on the wet floors. If you complain about anything then Mimi becomes aggressive, even yelling. It’s the most unprofessional place I have ever seen in 50 years and if you need the worst news ever it’s completly rat and roach infested.

I am writing this to hopefully prevent others from getting trapped in this awful place.parents of college students:DO NOT RENT HERE PERIOD. Unless you want your child exposed to a complex that does NOT enforce a drug free living, let's homeless go through trashes, gardeners damage vehicles. Im trying to save ppl from getting ripped off.its also dirty. Has roaches and rodents.no safe place for pets. Poorly taken care of. They shut the water off randomly with no 24hour notice. My car was towed illegally(yes illegally, I've done my research with law enforcement personally) from the lot. There's always random abandoned vehicles left, and the gates to the pool never work. they will rent to anyone...which is not good for families or other who want a quiet safe place to live. Office does not act on anything you bring to their attention. Very poorly managed even with the new management. CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

They made it extremely hard to receive my deposit after the move out process. All these hidden fees and regulations in the lease are a major inconvenience and only show up upon move out. I would not recommend this place at all for anyone seeking good customer service and no additional fees and complications.

They always try to overcharge. They never return the deposit. Overall the space available in the apartment was not worth the money. The housing utilities are very old

I have been living a boulder creek for a year now. The people here are real chill and real nice. the place is conveniently located close to the university so this is a college area. The place has a mountain cabin feel. the apartments are spacious and the workers here are prompt with their repairs. Me and the wife enjoy the small gym and take advantage of the pool and Jacuzzi. the overall atmosphere here is a 10. the only thing i don't like is they tow cars tuff here, so don't park where you want. the garages are two deep and cool.

My living experience at Boulder Creek has been a positive one. The leasing office employees are friendly and helpful and my maintenance requests have been addressed in a timely manner. The grounds are well kept and my immediate neighbors appear to be friendly and pleasant. Overall a good experience.

Lived here almost 4 years and have not had major problems with neighbors. Close to restaurants, shopping, work, major freeways, public transportation, surrounding cities such as Moreno Valley, Grand Terrace, Colton, HighGrove, and UCR. Studio apartment I reside in is the largest in Riverside, Ca.
