Property Ratings at Boulder Creek
This is the dirtiest, worst looking apartment I have ever moved into. This place is the opposite of luxury apartments. On their best day they might be barely mediocre. We are two days into a 14 month lease and the upstairs renters are a MASSIVE issue. No one has slept here since we got here which is not helpful as we are three professionals who either wake up very early, or are trying to sleep during the day because we work nights. The noise is absolutely unacceptable. The apartments are so crappy, the other family may as well just be in the same apartment with us.

This place has some true discrepancies. They will take every dollar they can out of you. Currently looking into filling official complaints to get them investigated! Be careful and make sure you keep all of your documentation because they won’t, and end up charging you and sending you to collections for “damages” that were already there. Did a full walkthrough they told us everything was fine and we’d get our security deposit, only for me to be getting bills and sent to collections. Beware

We moved a couple of months back and the move was very smooth and easy. When we entered the house it was clean and everything was put together which made a huge difference in settling in fast. The location is great and the community is really clean and well maintained, the maintenance team is doing a great job.We were drawn by the facilities that this property has to offer, fully equipped gym, community centre and the pool. Everything is well maintained.Overall it has been a great experience so far looking forward for the same experience in the future.

Hi and thank you for a great 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear you are enjoying your time at our community, and we want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We hope you continue to enjoy life at Boulder Creek.
Almost everything about this community provides reasons to promote living here.
The recent upgrades (counters etc) are very nice. I appreciate the dog park and the "berry patch" (gravel side road to the north side). The sound insulation is also very good here...or I have just had quiet neighbors through the last 3 sets of neighbors. :)
Boulder Creek is WONDERFUL! Sean adds such a positive energy and pride to the staff, too. He really cares.
I would and have recommended this community. Most of my friends are looking for a lower price range.
There is much improvement that needs to be done. It takes long sometimes to get a response from the office. WE pay soo much money and I think we should get better customer service.
I have never seen staff work as hard as they have here. During a recent snow storm, Shawn was out at all hours shoveling walkways to keep the residents safe. Every concern I've had to the office was immediately responded to. Boulders is a great place to live.

Thank you so much for the positive review. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us!
Management provided wrong information during leasing and we end up paying more during move out. Very bad experience dealing with them. I strongly recommend not to lease.

Please contact our office to discuss these concerns directly. You can reach our office at bouldercreek@simpsonhousing.com or (425) 276-4271.We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
Community, layout, views, privacy, etc. created a true home like environment and not a typical apartment.
very well run and great communication with Amy and office staff as well as Shawn for service requests.
Has everything I need in a lovely environment with responsive customer service.
This is the worst place I have ever lived. I had lived here for almost 1 year, neighbors and location are nice. The management and maintenance are very poor and building construction is very cheap/poor. You will get INCENSE smell, cooking smell and any kind of chemical smell coming inside your apartment from other adjacent units because the ventilation is common and you will not have any control. The building is cheaply constructed and share common ventilation like bathroom & laundry room ventilation, I had the same issue where incense and chemical smell was regularly coming to my apartment from other unit# through common ventilation which severely impacted my health and after reporting this to management they replied there is nothing can done about that. So if you have allergy/problem with any chemical smell then stay away from this place. This place is advertising high price for luxury living which is fake, you will get the location but end up living in a poorly constructed building in a tiny space with no choice. The corporate and management will ignore and not take any action on your complain so you will be stuck once you sign the contract. Fortunately my lease is expiring so I am moving out from this place. They will bump your rent by $200 for next term, there are lot of other places which are better in the same area but with less price. All the best!!!

Hi there, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience, and we are disappointed to hear that you have felt our staff has not responded appropriately. We did our best to work with you to meet your needs, and we did this by inspecting your room after hearing about the complaints of the carpet causing respiratory issues. We then had the carpets re-cleaned and eventually replaced them altogether to accommodate to the issue. If you would like to discuss any of the items shared in this review with our team, we would be happy to do so because, again, we feel we did our best to accommodate to your needs during your time here. Please reach out to us at bouldercreek@simpsonhousing.com or (425) 276-4271.
Maintenance has always been at least 90% on point.
Great place to live. Beautiful views and convenient location. Only addition that would be nice to have is a p-patch plot for a small garden.
Maintenance is always on top of things, no matter what they are.
Its lovely here, for the most part very quiet and over the years I have always enjoyed my relationship with the office and maintenance folks. Can't wait till we are back to normal and actually meet some of the new personnel.
Peaceful atmosphere limited by large school; very limited access to amenities
For pet parents, it would be a classy touch to have a gift card for petco and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our new home.
yes
Boulder Creek is a great place to live! The staff here is friendly and quick to respond to any issues. The buildings are clean and well-maintained and the scenery here is beautiful.
Great community, neighbors are friendly, can't hear through walls like other wood-built apartments, great layouts.
Our maintenance team is amazing. They are kind and supportive.
I find the team at Boulder Creek very professional and kind. Always ready to find a solution. The appartment interior- I love it.
Boulder Creek has been amazing. Constant communication in emails and staff extremely friendly
I have been here for 3 years & this is my honest opinion. I would comfortably recommend this apartment if you replace the cabinets & use better paint (white). Then I wouldn't be deceitful when I use the word....luxurious!
The best on the eastside. Quiet, peaceful and great amenities. I
I love where I live, although it is a 60-mile commute to and from work. I believe that the commute is worth it for living in such a fantastic location. The staff is informative about when the office will be open and closed. The maintenance team is always polite and respectful. My only wish was for more community opportunities, times for us to meet neighbors. Because of my commute, I leave early and get home late, so often talking to neighbors to introduce myself doesn't happen.
The only thing I would let people know is the somewhat high price of the rent and the loud fireplace.
Great well maintained area. Both office and maintenance staff deliver first class customer service. The townhouse we rent is bit pricey but that's probably on level with the area and anyway, absolutely a great place to live.
I would recommend Boulder Creek as I feel safe and comfortable in my little home. It is super expensive though.
New ownerships lack of funds...hope his rich house on the highlands reminds him of his integrity to others he rents to the community
The community is kept to a very high standard and is very professional in comparison to other apartments visited.
Welcoming staff and neighbors. Maintenance requests were met with speedy and responsive action.
Based on this interaction I would give a 10 ! However, I do have to say I am very disappointed in the maintenance of the pool this summer. Last year the pool condition was perfect every day. This year, the pool has been very dirty and not cleaned often. People are talking about the lack of attention given since the change in ownership and new management! My rent went up, but quality of this particular area has gone down to a 3 !
I lived in a Condo but had friends that lived in Apartment communities that provided not so great service or communication with the community. You all are so above board and appear to go the extra mile to communicate.
We've made 3 requests since we've lived here and have received prompt and professional service/response each time. I am thoroughly impressed. The last community we lived in was no where near as quick & thorough with fixing issues so I greatly appreciate the care and promptness this maintenance team shows!
As long as rent doesn't go up, I'll stay. I have asked over the last year to be notified if 2nd floor cobblestone and no FOLLOW up!! Now the asst Mgr seems like she will. I keep asking weekly.
I have friends and relatives that live in apartments in other areas. All have significant or major problems with parking, staff personnel, corporate policy, repairs and maintenance response. There is no comparison between experience and theirs. They all have complaints and problems and I have none.
It's a great place to live, nice buildings and apartments, easy to access and close to work/play. The only downside is the amount of noise that comes from upstairs neighbors. It's a little ridiculous sometimes but i guess that's apartment living...
Place looks great. Price is a bit higher than it should be when compared to surrounding area. Don't like that I had to stop using my grill because of a neighbor when everyone seems to have one.
It was a pleasant place to live with quality living space.
Did not have good followup due to unexpected weather. Was told our apt was rented even after I had contacted the office 7 times before I received answers to my questions,
Everyone has his/her own needs. This apartment address my family needs (close to work, sqf, location, safety, price). I definitely recommend this community to people who has the same preferences. It's just on the first glance. I hope this community will become our home for years.
Absolutely would highly recommend this apartment complex. I have a disability and unable to walk far or stand without increasing discomfort. I am able to park in front of my door and parking has not been an issue at all. Every other apartment complex I considered parking and access was a significant issue. All the staff are very friendly and do their jobs very effectively. I am very impressed and happy with my decision to live here. My neighbors are all wonderful friendly people as well.
Matt always is prompt and courteous. He is knowledgeable and always gets things done quickly. Sean and Dylan are also fabulous
It's been a great place to live with my 2 teenage boys and dog. The staff is friendly and helpful. The three bedroom apartment meets all our living needs. It's close to schools, shopping, dine and the highway. It's a quiet community with nice amenities and a trail close by.
There has been no visible action to have my neighbor's camera taken down. Also keep in mind, they have 4 total outdoor cameras. The police officer that came on site and gave his recommendation to property management to remove that camera angled at my room as he stated “they don't need a 4th camera, and you have a reasonable right to privacy.”
1. The trash service should be optional. 2. The charge of $48.00 to pay rent online is excessive. 3. Only one cable option available for internet/cable.
