Property Ratings at Brakeley Gardens
I looked at a one bedroom, appliances were descent. Office was very friendly. Unfortunately my voucher didn't cover the rent.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review of Brakeley Gardens! We really appreciate the wonderful things you've said about our community. If you think of anything we can do to assist you, just give us a call or stop by our office!
I don't see what all the negative comments are about. It's going to be a year since I've lived here and I love it. The apartments are beautiful, the bedrooms are very, very big and ALOTTTTT of closet space. Maintenance are on site and ALWAYS take care of the issues. But overall the apartments are beautiful. I would suggested that anyone looking for an apartment and might be considering Brakeley Gardens PLZ do not take consideration to the NEGATIVE reviews because that's exactly what they are "NEGATIVE"!!! Instead call Mrs. Denise and schedule a viewing for yourself, you wont regret it!!!
Awful management. Apartments are poorly put together. Walls are paper thin. Squirrels in the attic scratching all night. Run out of hot water all the time. Garbage dumpsters are always overflowing. Snow removal is generally poor. You get the run around every time you have an issue. I've gone without hot water for 2 weeks.
On September 25th, I called Brakeley Gardens for a viewing and left a message. Denise was the person who called me back about 20 minutes later. She had a beautiful personality and made time on the phone asking questions a joy. She knew the property and was able to answer every single one of my questions with ease. She worked within my schedule to get me in for a viewing and didn't press me to make a decision. The next day, Denise let me walk around the 1 bedroom apartment at my own pace, and get a feel for it. Boy Howdy was the place gorgeous, stainless steel appliances, dark wood cabinets, tons of storage/closet space, and more than enough room for my entire life to fit. The surrounding area had every restaurant and grocer imaginable, as well as a movie theater and mall. All of it was within a small 2-3 minute drive of the property, but the property itself was tucked away neatly so that the busyness of the shops didn't reach. It was an absolutely wonderful experience, and even if I don't end up choosing the community, I just wanted people to know about the wondrous human being that I had the pleasure of meeting and the superb community that I caught a glimpse of.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a glowing review! We really appreciate your acknowledgement of our on-site staff. We think Denise is pretty great too! We hope that you consider making Brakeley Gardens your next home!
I have been here since July. Any issue I have had has been taken care of quickly. Our apartment was redone from ceiling to floor. Everything is BRAND NEW. We have not seen any rate increase as others have mentioned. We have not been charged for any repairs that have had to be made either. Maintenance and the office personal on site have been kind and professional. I come from North Jersey and I never knew I could rent an apartment for the price we pay and get all that we get. My only wish was there was a place to grill and garden but I plan on making the best of my balcony! As far as people complaining about no laundry, you know this upon signing the lease. We are very happy and have no plans on leaving anytime soon.
This place seems to only want your money for rent. It's a hassle getting maintenance done. Set up for apartments could be better to create more space. I lived here for 3 years and I'm glad I am moving. No dishwasher, washer or dryer in apartments. All year long have to go out of apartment and tote laundry to dirty laundry mat. In winter its worse because half of time no salt and you fall and they don't seem to care. We asked for a updated apartment and we were willing to pay more a month to have it and they wouldn't let us. They said only for new tenates. Apparently they don't care of tenets they have. Also to mention our appliances are old and a blue bathroom lol. We pay same amount as everyone does with updated appliances. Never rent here.
My handicapped grandmother lives in these apartments and can't even leave the house because it has zero handicapped accessibility. Not only is the walk from the parking lot way to far but in the winter it is covering with ice. You can tell the buildings have been made in the 70s. They are very old. It must also be very dirty in the basement because she constantly has cellar centipedes. Also, there is NO dishwasher! The only pros are its in a quite neighborhood and there is a balcony. I would only move here if it was my last and only option.
poor management company no care what so ever about you or what your problems are no do they care about any issues with the apartment all they want is your money the place is out dated and needed work. as well as many other issues but when you bring it up they don't return your calls and god forbid there's an issue with other tenants they wont handle it this is a poor greedy management company who cares about them and nothing else not to mention the people living below me do drugs and no one does a anything but I gess you get what you pay for poor living conditions
Very spacious, open, and not too bad in the rent. Only thing I would change is that they update the building i am in...because its one of the older ones, and its hard to get maintenance done.
The young lady they have at the office is awesome she presents the property is such a friendly way you feel like a house guest!
I live in this apartments and I love it is very quite . And all shops are near by. And all utilities are included and it has a balcony.and is very spacious. I will definitely recommend to other people to rent here.
