Stonewall/Salemtowne is a small neighborhood in the Old Town district. This wooded neighborhood is predominately residential, but residents have access to several shopping centers and parks nearby like Hine Soccer Park. Winston-Salem has a lower cost of living compared to the rest of the state and Stonewall/Salemtowne follows suits in affordability. Lack of communication with the office staff they have four people on staff and every time you call no one never answers your call nor do they return your email when we came to sign up for our lease. They told us on the day we got here that we needed additional funds since their deposit Process change I felt that information should’ve been given to us through email prior to the day of move-in. It put a hardship on us and made that day very stressful.

Place isn't bad, but it is outdated. Amenities aren't anything crazy, but the location is good. There is no light for the bedroom in my 1bd 1ba unit which is really odd but I've gotten used to it.

No fire extinguishers even though their was a recent fire when brought to the attention of the office nothing was done. It saddens me that the office doesn't care that the tenants are at risk and that the fire extinguishers are very much needed and should be supplied.

I like my apartment and how quiet the area is and my favorite part of the apartment is the kitchen and the screened in Patio. And the property managers have been quick to respond back to any questions I have.

So far so good. I like the apartment and how close it is to everything. My neighbors in my building are always kind . My only complaint is the pool. People keep ruining it for the people that don’t do anything wrong

Nice community.. Enjoying atmosphere and the quietness. Everyone so friendly courteous. The grass is green and cut nicely every week very maintain.

Fairly good environment...good neighbors..office personnel is A1...very nice and on top of every issue presented. I have been here for over 5 years and ha e had minimum issues.

I love it here so far so quiet and I can the bus from where I live so convenient The neighborhood is so clean and nice the only problem I have is walking to mailbox but other than that everything else is pretty much good

quiet community apartment in was not cleaned upon move in however everything else seems nice apartment is spacious neighbors aren’t super loud either!

Shaky start but it's been pretty good since. I have good neighbors, no issues with any of them. It's also a pretty quiet neighborhood minus the daily police going down Bethabara. Otherwise all fine.
