With 42 acres of nature preserve along thousands of feet of lakefront shoreline, the Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area is a natural oasis where boating and fishing are popular pastimes. Northwest Virginia Beach boasts more than just waterfront views and sandy beaches.

Property Ratings at Brandywine
THE MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE. I am seriously very disappointed in this place absolutely nothing that they offer you can have for example the pool is closed it does not have an opening notice. Fitness Room is dirty you can find a couple of bugs in this area it is DISGUSTING and the sauna is also closed since 3 years or more. you can feel people smoking marijuana inside the apartments. look for another place
I’m just going to say don’t do it… please believe me when I say I want to get out of here like yesterday!!!! it’s ridiculous how many bugs they have here. Theres holes in the ground. Everything is outdated. I could go on and on. They act like they’re going to do something about it but they don’t. They’re not honest people. If you’re ok with a bunch of bugs in your apartment, leaking water from different places in the apartment, poor & hyprocritical management, etc then move here. But if you’re like me and are terrified at the thought of bugs and don’t like dealing with careless managers, DONT DO IT. YES, it looks like a well taken care of place from the outside. Oh trust me, I see them taking care of the grass and flowers etc outside. Even the managers seemed super nice at first. It’s like a whitewashed tomb, beautiful and nice on the outside but all DEAD on the inside. I’m not kidding one bit. Don’t move here. Please… I wish I would’ve looked a lot more into reviews before moving in, too bad I had to move in a hurry due to my previous lease ending. People please look elsewhere….
This place use to be nice when Dana was running the show, but currently is a headache to live here. The appliances are dated, and the new landlord does8have a clue how to be one. When ever you ask to get something done is just a hustle with them because the only thing that they tell you is "we don't know, you just gonna have to wait" I'm still living here and can't wait to my contract is over to move out of here.

The only reason why I knew I had to move was because my Hampton Roads area implemented the EZPass and that was so expensive driving through everyday. I had to get what I could afford. Even though my neighbors are not bad (because they are mostly military and seniors) the surrounding neighborhoods don't have a great history. The parking is horrible!!!!! I'm a single lady in my 20s and parking on another end of your complex and walking home at night is not fun at all. The maintenance is very good I must say which is very important as a renter. The office managers are very nice. The apartment is decent but I'm not set on it hints why I'm on another site. I don't have confidence that my comments would change anything I have told my renting managers. I live on the third floor with no elevators so you can only imagine how my grocery experience may be. Just for the record, I didn't pick my apartment. That's was the only available apartment at the time. Thanks for reading and I hope I have helped someone with new ideas for renting properties.
