Property Ratings at Branson Creek Commons
If you like to sleep to work or have a family do NOT move here. The neighbors party from Thursday - Sunday from 9pm until 4 am EVERY weekend. The office does nothing, “security” joins in on the party and when police are called they turn down the music until the coast is clear then they’re right back at it. The bug infestation is because they litter and just throw their food bones and beer bottles outside. It’s disgusting and management doesn’t care as long as their rent is paid. I’m so glad my lease is up!

Black mold, dusty in vents, that's been there for years. Water heaters leak and hot water takes a while in winter. Marijuana smoke come thru vent from neighbors, they charge for everything. Insurance on the building, trash pick up etc. These people only want money, your concerns fall on deaf ears because they want remove anyone, if you pay your rent. You have been warned, enter at your own risk

This was a horrible apartment..roaches were everywhere! Pest control rarely came out . My closet flooded and I had a mushroom growing out of my floor. Molding in the closets , shooting and the leasing office said “ we have nothing to do with it “ rent is high for a mess of an apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!!

I lived here for a year and really enjoyed the complex and the area it's located in. I did have a lot of issues with my AC unit and had to complain quite a bit before it was replaced. These buildings are old, but I know there have been lots of renovations. I just hope future residents have their apartment issues fixed in a more timely manner. But all in all I would live here again.

I lived here back in 2020 and for the most part it was easy and simple living there. Eventually it got complicated when the ceiling in my bedroom had a leak in the ceiling that was not properly addressed. All they did was paint over the stain in the ceiling and said it was "fixed". The stain kept coming back over and over until the ceiling started to bow slightly. I finished my lease before anything happened but hopefully they got it fixed. Also, check behind your maintenance people here.

I know a tenant that lives there. They have a mice infests and the complex is not taken the proper steps to handle the situation. Apartment is clean and she has two small kids. They don't seem to care about the health and safety of their tenants. They acknowledge that this is not a problem caused by the tents but said it was from an outside utility closet.

They are horrible in management. They apartments are in horrible condition and they don’t do anything about the constant bug problems.

Don’t live here, that apartment is covered in mold and they just paint over it. I complained about the mold many times and they did nothing after saying that they would come take care of it. The “ renovated“ apartment is just a wall being taken down. Paint literally peels off the wall without even touching it. The window are so cheap as shake when you open/close the door. The laundry area is never clean the washers are cover in mold.

Worse place ever was stationed at fort Bragg, I stayed there for a year and it was nothing but problems roof was leaking water every time it rained, floor would lift off the ground from the water and I would file a work order to be told there nothing they can do other then just patch the holes in the ceiling which would just fall apart every time it would rain again. Moved out off the there and 3 months later was charged 114 dollars for a carpet cleaning fee when I was already charged a non refundable pet fee which they said would cover carpets when I moved out. They sent me to collections they never called me to notify me don’t move here nothing but problems. And they had roaches everywhere. Now I have to fix my credit score cause of them.
First I must say when I moved there I was shown a unit. I paid my deposit and later that day was told unit no longer available. The unit they gave me is filthy in the back. They never come do landscaping in that section. Security is a joke. Anyone can come inside. So they get paid for nothing. Also you can easily get in on the other side. Rent tends to go up each year but they have yet to upgrade the apartments. Old plumbing but that office is beautiful as these photos. No handicap parks. And the utility meters on the outside smh..
The only things that I like about these apartments is the location, floor layout, space, hardwood floors, carpet and price (I guess you get what you pay for). The downsides: im tired of the roaches (no matter how much you pick up after yourself, sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe stuff down, lay down roach killing products, they keep coming back), ghetto/loud neighbors that smoke and it seeps into the apartment and makes my apartment and clothes smell horrible, no parking (have to park in the grass, or a few apartment buildings over. people literally park in the middle of the street, its ridiculous) and it not being well lit at night, theres only a few lampposts per street (makes the place feel very unsafe), and the road full of pot holes, not the main entrance but the other one. Live here if its your only option but if you dont have to, find a better place!
The location is perfect if you don’t have a car it’s walking distance to everything and the bus line is right in front. If your a shopaholic it’s the place to be. My lease is almost up I wish I could stay but I need my own washer n dryer hook up
Great place so far. Respectful neighbors. It's a great living space. It's all about how you keep up with your home.
The complex is way too old there is mold everywhere. The walls are like cardboard and roaches come out of the vents. I had a lease for a year and after that I decided to move out since the conditions are not adequate for living. The lease started Jan18 and was supposed to end Jan19 that was the date I left. I moved out to my brothers house for a month since I got put on orders and was not going to rent a new apartment since I was close to leave. Months after I found out Branson creek sent me to a collection agency because I was supposed to pay for the month of January after they told me that my time was over. Now I’m trying to deal with this collection agency to get my credit score fixed.
Live there for a year and was my worst experience ever. A/C broke three times, the guy that came to fix it said that was the thermostat the first time and said that since those buildings were like 60 years old it was difficult to not have this kind of issues all the time. The entire wiring was burned. There are roaches everywhere and neighbors are too loud and always fighting. The pools are always dirty and if not closed and laundry rooms are a mess and smell really bad. Definitely better to spend a couple hundred dollars more and find a better place to live.
My husband I moved her not even a month yet, but we like it here it is very quite and close to both our jobs and all the major place to go. all the girls in the office are friendly and help full. Two downfalls for us was the kitchen storage, and roaches. I must say they came and sprayed twice and I've done some debugging also and I haven't seen many, maybe one in the last week. Overall I like it will add pictures when I'm done decorating. They allow pets its an extra $20 on your rent. A very cozy apartment.
I moved to Branson Creek Commons about 3 months ago. I was reluctant to move here after reading the website reviews. I have NOT experienced any issues. The office has always been a pleasure and is helpful. I'm happy with my choice!
The staff is nice and the rent is cheap. Those are your only pros. The area doesn't feel safe despite there being guards. The neighbors are always loud. We had cockroaches in our apartment. There were cracks and holes all over the place. I get that some of their apartments are remodeled but ours wasn't. Therefore, we had a bad experience. I mean seriously, there were plenty of cracks and holes. The place felt disgusting and I couldn't wait to get out. Search on Google for more accurate reviews of this place.
I'm a current resident. I've lived here for a yr now. I love it. It's conveniently located. The apartments have been upgraded and are still affordable. Any maintenance issues have been addressed quickly and sufficiently. I highly recommend this place. Great place. Great area. Great price. Can't beat it.
I moved in here at the beginning of last year because it was close to my job and was very affordable. I just renewed my lease for another year. They have made a lot of improvements to the property. The staff has always been nice and maintenance always comes out right away. They have security on the property, so I fell safe even though I live alone. I would definitely recommend.
Barrington Place Apartments has the location near just about everything you'd need for an everyday basis. The staff is friendly and easy to relate to and the rent is significantly cheaper than most places not even near the mall. I've been out here for two and a half years and I definitely plan to stay longer!
