The property is an older community but appears new and is excellently cared for. The grounds provide walkway lighting, lush trees and greenery without being obtrusive. They offer two saltwater pools with plenty of seating and free Wi-Fi. The exterior is a beautiful pastel brick color in excellent shape with a soothing buttercream siding. damaged roads starts within the entrance which are not repaired from past 1 year still with the caution board. Worst pool - possibility of every disease if you swim Work orders- takes lifetime Management-rude, unprofessional, unethical….etc Robberies- no security cameras in this apartment recently we witnessed many thefts in past couple of months. Towing-nice relation between leasing office and towing company which are designed so that tenants loose money around 370$ per tow.

Apartments has Full of Roaches, Rats and in night time racoons roaming out side the apartment door, and customer service is worst and receptionist is not giving minimum respect to a customer and very rude, I will not suggest these apartments for any one to stay.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is by far THE WORST living situation I've ever been in and I'm praying this apartment complex pays us back for everything they've done to us. Everyone working here keeps quitting after finding out how absolutely horrible this place is, which only makes it harder for them to keep up with what needs to be fixed and addressed. I've only been living here for six months and I'm praying I can get my money back to move elsewhere. Here is a list I've sent to both the main office and their corporate office ( it has been over two weeks with no response) A dog attack took place 50 feet in front of our apartment when two dogs (a boxer and pitbull owned by a resident living in the apartment complex) attacked my roommate and her dog while they were walking at night. Clear Lake Apartment Homes staff and management had zero knowledge of the incident and did not remove the remaining dog off the apartment property. Leak in the guest bedroom bathroom that left pools of water in the bathroom and adjacent closet causing mold/mildew to grow. We applied to move into a “renovated” apartment, which costs more than a regular apartment. Multiple doors aren’t level with the foundation. Countertops aren't properly connected to the cabinets. Everything was painted over without being cleaned first, which left multiple lights painted over and clumps of pet hair and dirt/dust are under the paint. Window sills have chew marks on corners from the previous owner’s pet. Paint is excessively stripping/warped in bathrooms. Cabinets are in a state of disrepair. Our AC was out for over a month, leaving occupants in an overheated apartment during Texas heat waves. Mysterious liquid was oozing white from the floor and wall in our utility closet. No one had an answer for what this liquid was or how it seeped into our walls and floor from the other apartment next to us. Master bathroom flooded through a leak from the bathroom vent. Water is visible within walls and causing it to bubble and morph. Drain fly infestation/ Ant infestation/ cockroach infestation. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
This complex was a dream… at first!!! Good location great size for the price but it definitely has a catch…Where do I even start… We’ve lived here for almost 2 years and it’s been 2 years too many! Management is ALWAYS changing and each time is worst than the last. They tried to charge us 400$ extra a month in the middle of our lease and told us it was a “month to month fee” even though we had signed a 12 month lease and it was the middle of the year. Good thing we had the paperwork to prove it because the office manager tried to say they “lost” our lease paperwork! The upstairs neighbors have flooded my ground level apartment 2 times in a year because they let their bathtub over flow… Maintenance never came to check our apartment the second time so I can only imagine the mold growing in the walls… When maintenance does come they knock once and let themselves in, not announcing it’s maintenance so it’s nerve racking to have someone intrude on your space in the middle of the day…Not to mention the 2 bedroom apartments with 8-10 college kids living in them, you can’t tell me that not some kind of fire/safety hazard… And the cherry on top is paying a monthly pest control fee and never once seeing them spray and still having an infestation regardless of how clean and tidy you keep things. Disgusting!!! I could definitely go on but I wouldn’t be able to fit it all in here…Don’t wast your time and money!!!

Absolute garbage apartments. The pool is not safe at all, its green and covered in slime. Disgusting dumpsters that are ravaged every night by families of raccoons. Not to mention that the parking lot floods in major rain storms. Cannot recommend less.
The worst apartments i have lived on bay area. They advertised it as newly renovated but it’s all poor just poor painted with rotten ceilings and roaches and bugs inside the walls. Always have some issues with air conditioning, refrigerator and management takes forever to fix it. During little rain all the roads get flooded with water and probably your car gonna be drowning in water. These are very old apartments that needs deep fixes instead they just paint it and lease it. They don’t have any cameras and always something getting stolen or accidents in parking lot which end up unresolved. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. It doesn’t feel safe living here and management won’t help you.

Aside from the ROACH INFESTATION, the management is the worst I have ever experienced. They lie and try to blame everything on the residents. We have had an infestation since moving in, but every time we try to get assistance from the property they make excuses to get out of taking action. I have lived in country and have never had roaches. Never move here! It is the biggest waste of money!

The insect issue has gotten better with new management. I moved here over 2 year ago and did not have an insect issue until a resident moved in. I'm not sure if she brought them with her or what. New management has cleaned that up though. Good job.

Literally do not move here. My apartment is infested with probably thousands of roaches and the management does literally nothing about it. They think lightly spraying will do the job lmao no it needs to be fumigated.

I have only been here three months but at this stage I am satisfied. The Staff is helpful and responsive. I have gone to them with a few issues and they have been dealt with quickly and effectively. The Location of the Property was advertised as excellent and has proven to be just that. Not having a car yet, it has been of tremendous benefit to have practically everything I need within walking distance. All in all... At this point, I am satisfied with my decision to live at „The Ivy“ Nevertheless, I would not feel like me if I didn‘t complain about something... ??so ... an Upgrade to the Laundry Room would be welcomed.??
My experience while at the The Ivy complex was pleasant. The staff was always friendly and responsive to deal with and the grounds were well maintained providing a relaxing and inviting vibe to call home. Definitely a great value and I will continue to refer my friends and family moving forward.

I gave this complex 5 stars for the office staff. I did not end up leasing at this location due to my moving dates not matching apartment availability, however I had been on the market for an apartment for 30 days before I came to this complex.I had viewed apartments from Pearland to League City and was tired and worried that I would not find something. I called and was immediately welcomed by Tynesha. She was great and attempted to meet all of my needs. She showed me multiple units and cared about what I wanted. I was extremely impressed that this complex ,although older, was very well kept. Grass was cut, residents were not allowed to have extensive belongings on the porches. Parking lot was clear no debris etc... Later, I spoke with Evelyn and she too was very informative and patient explaining the process of preparing vacant units. My first day there I did also get to speak with the Property Manager Linda and she was also enthusiastic and personable. In the end, I found another apartment with every single amenity and no wait to move in. Had that not been the case I would have loved to lease here. Kudos to this great staff!!!
The management is really good here. When they know something is wrong they do their best to fix it. The outsides of the Apartments look pretty good and the maintenance team is usually able to fix any problems. Sometimes the neighbors are loud, but this community is located right next to a college so it isn't a huge surprise. The police will come when you call in a noise complaint. As far as the Apartments go they aren't the best, but I have also lived in much worse. The apartments have carpet is all the rooms except the bathroom, kitchen, and dining area. It is the sand color carpets so any spills of any food will stain. What I have seen though, is when people move out the community replaces the carpets so you won't be living in anyone else's filth, but I am sure you will be charged upon exit. The one bedroom feels small. I believe that is because the dining room is just a continuation of the living room. If you don't have dining room furniture then the living room will feel huge. The apartments all have fire places which is silly because this is Houston and it never gets cold enough to use a fire place. The air conditioning units are very old and they vibrate the top floor apartments. They also make your bill very high because they are not super efficient. You are allowed to pain your walls as long as you get it approved by the leasing office - but like I said, management it really cool so there shouldn't be a problem. Closet space is limited and you have to get a storage space somewhere away from the apartment because they do not have a storage on site. The top floor apartments could have had vaulted ceilings to make them look bigger, but instead you get a flat ceiling which makes the apartment feel cramped. The kitchen is a good size and I love the washer and dryer hook ups for a full size washer. The cabinets and counters are very attractive too. They have a good pet policy where you pay a pet fee and then you pay pet rent. Their lease also says you can have pets besides cats and dogs (so fish, snakes, rabbits, ferrets, birds, etc) as long as you get it approved by management. I don't think they would have a problem with it. I feel like if you are going to ask management for approval you are probably already a responsible pet owner. Anyway I like the community and you get a nice place to live for a reasonable price for the area.
