My experience has not been a pleasant one I have had a rodent problem since i moved in that has never been taken care of for one! And the building is not a very safe environment for families because we have homeless people living in the lobby doing drugs in the stairwell, and unauthorized pets using the bathroom everywhere elevator included!! The only good thing Brent Place has is all utilities are included!

It has changed a lot for the better since Management changed
Maintenance is not the best, elevators always breaking down, roach and mice issue, Water leaks, management does not do much to help, apartment unit always overheats, a few of the management members are rude. Not the best communication whatsoever, packages also go missing.
Affordable apartment homes for those who are looking for convenience and access to social/community engagements and entertainment.
i Love it because utilities are included have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom close to kids school and close to me to get to work. But building really need upgrades and they say no pets but now i see people with a types of animals if going to let people have animals just say it. and than tell others no pets allow.
I am fortunate enough to be a part of a community and not just a renter in a dwelling. The staff is outstanding in timeliness, attentive concern, friendly, helpful, progressive and many more positive accolades. They are a great team.
I really appreciate the staff here. Theyre very helpful in every way. I would recommend Brent Place to friends and family.

The office staff as well as the maintenance staff work really hard to maintain the building. They make it a point to provide resources and outreach for the residents. They are friendly and make it a point to know the residents in order to best serve the building. Ms. Cleone, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Danielle are the heartbeat of the building and its comforting to know that they listen to their residents.
The office staffs, maintenance and cleaning staff shouldered through for the tenants during this entire pandemic putting their own safety at risk. The office team astounded by creating a community and sees to its needs just because they care. They go above and definitely beyond. The building redesign is also impressive.
Love how helpful and friendly the staff at Brent place are every time Ive had an issue they solve it right away and they let me know of any activities that there is for myself and my family...
Outside of the mice issues, overall Brent Place is a good place to stay. Out of all my years of living here I like the new management we currently have. Mostly all the residents are friendly & respectful.
Poor maintenance service Bathroom smells like weed every single night (no way to close the vent) Extremely hot in the unit Elevators are always dirty and/or out of service I never get any packages on time and/or they get lost since most carriers do not come in or upstairs.
Brent Place is great place to live. They offer on site childcare as well as after school programs for the children. Great Community.
Not a great place to live especially to raise children. If you dont care about safety, roaches and mice this is the place. Fire alarm goes off every week. Very nosey neighbors. Moved in a new unit and closet door broke within the 1st month and 3 months now its still not fixed. Squat team is always running into someone apartment. Alexandria police basically lives here and still building is terrible!

Brent Place is a great place to live its affordable, convenient and accessible to metro and dash buses, grocery stores and restaurants. Management is very friendly and address concerns very promptly.
Baby pool is open where I can take my little girl. Last year it was closed all year long and no one cared. Couldn't find the staff half the time to ask when it would be open I love the new website and being able to pay my rent online now
I have been living here for almost 3yrs.... The elevator is always broken, they have cameras but don't check them obviously. The staff are the nastiest, the lady in the rental office has a very nasty attitude, she talks to tenants in ignorant manner. When people come to visit me, they can't get in bc they programmed someone elses number to my apt and the situation still has not been fixed. The officer that lives in the building stands outside and harass the ppl living in the building. They don't have a computer room nor a gym like they advertised. My apt was infested with mice when I first moved in, and then I had bed bugs crawling out of my ceiling and I always see roaches in the hall, in the lobby, and in the laundry room. This building needs to torn down and rebuilt and the staff currently in the office needs to be fired. They got rid of the nicest most genuine lady in the office and she had been here since before I moved in. They call themselves trying to improve this building, but all they are doing is inconveniencing people and pissing the tenants off, and if you have a section 8 voucher they talk to you like your stupid. I have been overcharged so many times for late fees, and when I go to talk to them about it , they can't find the paper work... I can't wait til my lease is up so I can move out of here and never ever ever in my life look back. I'll stay in homeless shelter with my child before I ever move back in here. Period... Once I find the number for the corporate office I will be filing a complaint.
The office is always closed very under staffed, poor Beonca is the only one I see in the office despite all the work she has to do she is always polite but is very much overworked. The building is infested with roaches no matter how clean your house is you are going to get them. I hate this building and will be moving out just as soon as my lease is up. It's just this old building but the staff seems nice but overworked to little staff for a high rise and the office is always closed during office hours.

The building has poor maintain tghe laundry room has most of the machine and dryers broken .. to much police action, management are not polite i need to move i have two daugtgers onevis autistic n the other one is adhd and im pstd i cant be in this building i left nyc for a better life living in Virginia is a blessing but with my fiance working in McDonald's n living with my benefits i pay alot of rent im barely surving . The building i live has bad ratings n i didnt know how infestation of bed bugs n drunks i would love to move to a better compkex for my daughter's n my fiancé n i well its all i have to say thank you
