Located about five miles north of downtown Spokane, Town and Country stays true to its name with a rustic, old-fashioned atmosphere. The neighborhood has a balanced mix of single-story houses and apartments scattered around spacious, tree-lined roads. Nowhere do you see this area's all-American style more than in Lost Boys' Garage, a diner housed in a former service station.
Town and Country has no shortage of unique local bars, from neighborhood mainstay the Swinging Doors to a down-to-earth sports bar called the Screaming Yak. If you want to do something different, try painting while sipping a glass of wine at Sip n' Paint Studio. Property Ratings at Brentwood Gardens Apartment Community
The last 2 years here I've seen incredible transformations take place. These apartments are in high demand and the turnover from a move-out to a move-in often happens in less than a day. You can put a deposit down for an apartment but if it doesn't include a completed application it doesn't guarantee a hold on that apartment. It is a competitive marketplace and time is of the essence especially in apartments like these. You can't blame management nor ask them to hold an apartment for you for several days when someone else may have completed their application and put a deposit down. First come first serve to the person who turns in ALL their paperwork. If you choose to rent here I wouldn't waste any time because someone else will be happy to take your place. I watch the improvements take place daily and they are still going on. Not only has the entire facade been updated but the interior upgrades make these older apartments feel like new again. The community is a quiet one. We have a pool and a community garden. The manager is diligent, compassionate and is always looking for ways to improve the community. The rent is more than fair for the amenities and the conveniences and sense of security. Would I recommend this property to others? Absolutely. It's become a hidden gem. A big thumbs up to our manager!
The landlord and corporate both agreed that a word given to a tenant, approved by email, pictures, application, cash, and states they have their apartment and can move in, later taking possible cash from someone else, changing their mind days before the the tenant, myself, and granddaughter are to move in, is considered the right thing to do. In other words money is first not the written, verbal word or people. Especially a disabled grandmother with granddaughter on Section 8. I had given notice, located a U-Haul truck; missionaries were moving us. I'm a Christian woman, do not smoke or drink, money was in the mail, a picture was emailed of the voucher and money order being sent to the landlord the same day the landlord rented my apartment and stated that money was in her hand, leaving myself and my granddaughter stranded, finally apologizing after the fact. Now winter is coming I live at a distance and had filled out the application and was mailing the $40 application fee when the landlord rented my apartment. My daughter took $40 cash in the evening from the South Hill with babies in the car but the landlord would not accept cash. My background is impeccable. There was no reason to do what was done to us. I have over 20 emails stating the apartment belonged to me and my granddaughter with missionaries as Witnesses.
