Stretched along the Mississippi River, Saint Louis is the second most populous city in Missouri. Regarded as the Gateway to the West, Saint Louis was the starting point of Lewis and Clark’s infamous expedition. Saint Louis’ most iconic landmark, the Gateway Arch, is a memorial celebrating the nation’s westward expansion.
In addition to its rich history, Saint Louis offers residents access to exceptional amenities and culture. An apartment in Saint Louis affords you the opportunity to climb sculptures composed of reclaimed building materials at the one-of-a-kind City Museum, or watch the Cardinals play ball at Busch Stadium.
Hit the town and catch a performance at the Fabulous Fox, or indulge in some retail therapy at the massive Saint Louis Outlet Mall. There’s incredible architecture to admire in the Washington Avenue Historic District, or you could experience the flora and fauna on display at the Saint Louis Zoo and Missouri Botanical Garden.

Property Ratings at Brentwood Place
There is no storage, windows are drafty so gas and electric is super high. They keep raising the rent and they are not worth what you pay for. Maitnence guy is nice but will have your car towed so quick if your plates expire. There’s some problem people on the complex which happens I guess. The floors make so much noise. I can’t wait to get out

Hello, we would love to meet with you to discuss and resolve your concerns. Please reach out to our leasing office as soon possible.
The parking is always over crowded , they have pest issues. A few things like the shower , dish washer and disposal broke but we called maintenance and he responded rather quickly with our issues, he’s a nice guy friendly to us . Never had an issue with the neighbors always nice. The walls are thin , the ground is uneven so the oven is at a tilt making it hard to cook . The windows aren’t properly insulated so there’s a draft as well as bugs gettin in during the summer. The complex always seems to raise the rent even tho nothing gets updated so i’d rather pay the asking price that’s actually worth it.

Hi, thank you for the review. Once all of the construction is completed by the city there will be more available parking. As always feel free to contact us anytime for any of your needs.
I scheduled an in-person apartment tour over the phone. When I got to the leasing office, there wasn't parking because everything was surrounded by construction. I wish I was notified of this. When I finally managed to get to the leasing office there was a sign that said the leasing agents will be back at 9:00. It was 9:50ish. I decided to wait until 10 because that was the time for my appointment. I called the leasing office, a person off-site picked up the call and they couldn't get a hold of their leasing agents either! I would feel differently if I had booked a tour online, but that was not the case. If you are going to accept tour requests, make sure there is reliable staff present on-site. Would not recommend!

Hello - we're very sorry to hear about your experience and will address this with the onsite team directly. We'd appreciate the opportunity for you to come back and tour with us.
Parking sucks, lots always overfull. Car got hit overnight and no cameras to see who did it. Maintenance sucks, AC went out over the summer, they told us the whole building was out and they couldn't come for like 4 days, only to find out it was only our unit that was out. The dishwasher is from the 80s and keeps breaking but they refuse to just get a new one. Leaky kitchen sink pipes that they've had to come fix twice. Toilet also was leaking for weeks dripping down to the neighbor bathroom below, they had to come "fix" it AT LEAST 5 times. Black mold under the kitchen sink that they sprayed with mold killer, but that didn't work so they just painted over it. Everything is put together cheaply; the kitchen and bathroom floors look like wood in pictures but it’s really just wallpaper. The wifi sucks because the router plug in thingy in the living room was painted over and doesn't work, so the wifi router has to be plugged in the back room. There's a pool but its far away from the main office, a girl horribly drowned this summer and was under for 5 mins before the kids with her were able to get help. The laundry room makes me feel like ’m in college, and there's always at least 1 washer out of order. I got locked out my apartment one night and maintenance wouldn't come to let me in because it "wasn't an emergency". BUT when we call to get something fixed, there's been multiple times when they just walk into the apartment without permission. Like I have a baby so sometimes it takes a min to answer the door. But they'll knock once and not wait more than 3 mins before he lets himself in. AND HE NEVER WEARS A MASK. And then they keep raising rent each year, for WHAT??!!? Nothing gets better, nothing gets fixed, it's not safe. I hate living here, I can't wait to move. The only things I like about this place are the neighbors (for the most part) and location.

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived. - The house is old and dirty. The floor is not flat. - There is no balcony, no storage. - The apartments have severe pest problems. The pest control staff is unprofessional. They just sprayed some chemicals, but the pests continued to appear. - They do not have enough staff for maintenance. Sometimes you have to wait MORE THAN THREE WEEKS before your maintenance request gets processed. - About 2 out of 3 times, the leasing office is closed during regular office hours. - About 2 out of 3 times, the leasing office does not answer your phone. None of my neighbors lived there for more than 6 months. All of them came from other cities like me. They just lived here temporarily, and they would move out when they find another choice.
are some adjectives that describe these apts. We lived there for over a year and couldn't wait to get out. The carpet in our apt was at least 10 years old, worn and smelly. We insisted they wash it again before we moved in even though they said it was cleaned. The sub-floor under the carpet must be 1/2" thin & sometimes it would feel like your foot would fall through the floor. The kitchen is probably 30 years old and just painted over. This included the bathroom and tub and tile, which was just painted over with an epoxy. Lighting is HORRIBLE because there is not enough and they used cheap CFL bulbs that emit a barf like color. For the time we lived there we swapped out those bulbs with LED's. While running the water in the bathroom sink we could smell the sewer gassed coming through the drain. This means the sink wasn't properly vented. This was a great wake up call brushing teeth in the morning. We had maintenance try to fix it but it did not help. We just lived with it. Summer AC bills would sky-high because the compressor was from APR1996! (I looked on the unit) I HIGHLY doubt there is a shred of insulation in the place. You can hear neighbors through walls like they are paper. One day I walked out of the apartment to find someone breaking into my car. I chased them away and cops were there is 3 minutes. The officer pointed out that there were several lights out on the apartment unit and this is most likely the reason the would-be thief chose that area to break in. The maintenance guy, John, was super nice, hard working but didn't last long. He was underpaid and overworked. This is no surprising at all at this place. Neighbors, for the most part, were nice and kept to themselves. A few didn't pick up their dogs mess so there was cr@p everywhere. We have a dog and I would end up picking up other dogs mess because it was so disgusting. The laundromat washers and dryers are small and overpriced and we spent way too much on washing clothes. The entrance to the laundromat in the basement was right by a unit where someone smoked cigarettes and pot. I just called and they are keeping our $200 deposit for reasons that weren't true. IE Maintenance/Wear and tear issues were considered damage and a missing key. The best part of the apt was the pool but by mid summer it was overrun with people and not filtered/cleaned properly so if you don't mind swimming with bandages, hair and other body materiel you will be ok. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
Great place to live! Clean, great maintenance service, great management, friendly neighbors. Centrally located - near major expressways, Metrolink and close to downtown St. Louis. Have great rent specials and rates!
