Would recommend living here to anyone! Brittni, the apartment manager is INCREDIBLE! She is so accommodating and so helpful. She really goes above and beyond compared to any apartment manager I’ve ever had, and makes living there an amazing experience. The apartments have a nice old charm feeling with updated appliances and is overall a great building to live in.

Prior to moving out I was prepared to give the Breslin Apartments 5 stars but after moving out I am questioning the integrity and honesty of both the apartments and the management company. I moved out on August 28th and cleaned and handed over the keys on the 29th, 2 days ahead of the end of my lease. I paid my lease, $1125 per month, on time every month. (my lease payment included heat, water, sewer and trash). I paid my own electric through AVISTA. The management company, Kiemle Hagood failed to turn in the paperwork at the beginning of the lease (typical of this company) so I overpaid the electric and was refunded later. I also received a small refund from AVISTA after I moved out. My only other utility was COMCAST for cable and internet. I received a refund for over payment from them also. I did a walk-thru with the site manager the last day and was told it was THE CLEANEST apartment he had experienced and I would get my full deposit back. When I received by deposit refund it was shorted $45 with the only explanation being a box checked that says "Utilities". WHAT utilities, obviously a scam. The topper is that both the owner of the apartments and the site manager say they have no control over the management company. I could swear they work for and are paid by the apartment ownership. I have never seen such stonewalling. $45 is not the end of the world but it is a matter of honesty, accountability, customer service and character. A persons word should be their bond. Make some calls and check out Kiemle & Hagood's reputation around town...enough said. Please do no rent from any property managed by K&H, you cannot trust them.

I have lived here for eight years and can honestly say it's the most lovely apartment I've ever resided in. This building is over 100 years old and features original hardwood floors in some units, 10-foot cielings, fine craftsmanship such as sturdy doors and a gorgeous dark wood staircase. There's also an elevator and it's a locked building in a safe, convenient neighborhood. Every tenant I've encountered is polite and friendly. There are many healthcare professionals in our building as it is a stone's throw from Sacred Heart and Deaconess. There are many turn-of-the-century historic apartment complexes in the neighborhood. Great place to live!

So first off, parking is a joke. There's never any parking so plan on parking blocks and blocks away. Also the landlords are not very nice or helpful or available ever. If you need to speak with somebody you better be ready to wait for days for them to call you back. You pretty much have to get mad and demands to talk to somebody. Also getting in and out of buildings very difficult they are to have any locked doors so don't go heavy on the grocery shopping or it will take you forever to get all your groceries inside. Also get ready for a bunch of parking tickets. And expect the lobby to smell like sewage most of the time. It's right next to the hospital so be prepared to hear sirens 24/7 and also don't keep anything valuable in your car because it will get broken into and stolen. End of rant

1. No there is no parking. It is street parking, first come first serve. 2. No there is no storage 3. No there is no "disposal" 4. The manager will not do anything about the noisy neighbor above you. 5. Yes, you can watch the glass of water shake as your upstairs neighbors kids body slam each other. 6. Yes you can complain about number 5 and let the manager tell you to move. 7. No, this is not worth the $700 that they want

When we moved in we began renting a one bedroom apartment, which had a spacious bedroom, tiny bathroom, plenty of closet space, a decent kitchen with no dinning area and a good size living room. Then, we moved across the hall to a two bedroom. It has a large dinning area, small bathroom with even less storage than our last apartment. It also has a small kitchen with a sizable amount of cupboard space to make up for the lack of counter space, both bedrooms are a good size but lack storage space, and a decently shaded view of the back yard. My only real qualms are with the management, which seems to be very busy and has yet to finish my repair requests, after a month of waiting. I have been placated with small fixes in an inconsistent manner and am about ready to do the repairs myself. On the plus side, water, sewer, garbage, and heating are included. Steam heat throughout the building so in the winter I'm never without heat, unless the boiler breaks down; which also makes showers a bit difficult since the water gets turned off throughout the building for maintenance. But, we get on site laundry so I don't have to pack up my clothes and haul them down the street. All in all its nice in its own way!

This is a wonderfully funky old building. It's hilly, much like San Francisco. Lots of very tall trees line many of the streets. It's a neighborhood from days gone by.
