The historic Brewer’s Hill neighborhood contains some of the oldest houses and buildings in the city of Milwaukee. Mansions built from the heyday of beer brewing stand next to quaint cottages in this architecturally varied neighborhood. Brewer’s Hill sits on a prominent bluff north of downtown along the Milwaukee River. Brewer’s Hill has begun shifting from an industrial community to a picturesque, family-friendly neighborhood with homes and condos with city views.
And because Brewer’s Hill is on the rise, the local breweries, bars, and businesses are too. From Lakefront Brewery to Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern, the establishments in this town evoke a unique charm. This neighborhood is ideal for craft beer enthusiasts, downtown commuters, and students attending one of the universities nearby. Craft brews, a close-knit community, tree-lined streets, well-kept lawns, walkable streets, and picture-worthy residential neighborhoods await you in Brewer’s Hill.

Property Ratings at Brewer's Point Apartments
Poor management, laundry machines regularly break, elevators break, apartment appliances don't work, maintence is unresponsive, parking garage door is broken, packages get stolen, locks on doors are easy to break into.
I Poor management, horrible turn around for repairs. I went 4 months with a damaged front door from someone attempting to kick in my door. Huge hole was left and they were not concerned about safety. Lack of safety overall in building. Garage door often doesn’t shut despite charging over 100 dollars to park, security cameras haven’t worked the entire duration of me living here, a strange homeless man who is violent likes to chill in an unlocked part of the building and management refuses to lock this entrance, they replaced a refrigerator that broke down in my unit with one infested with bugs and molding food still inside, told me to clean it up myself. Stay far away from this place!!! The units are overpriced for what you get and they refuse to follow basic safety provisions that they state in their lease. I cannot wait until my lease is up!
Location isn't bad. However with the increase in crime (car break in's, auto thefts) in the lot itself, it's unbearable to stay after your lease expires anymore. Management would usually respond to requests or comments within 3-4 days. Maintenance has gone down hill in the past 3 years. Elevators constantly broken, trash, and stained carpet in the hallways. For the price and location it's not bad. Just remember to document any crime and report it to Milwaukee Police District 3 Community Liason Officer. They keep track of it and turn properties into neusance properties if management doesn't want to do anything. Demographics range from older to younger college age kids who like to get loud and have parties on the weekends.
I am in the theater. I direct and have acted. I love my theater work, but never made a lot of money. I work often but it is from show to show. Now that I am older and on Social Security I do not make much monthly, as I never made a large salary in the life. But I love my work and the people I am around. At Brewers Point I feel like a STAR! The area is lovely near the river, and the tenants and staff are friendly. It is also so very quiet! I have a large studio with a large kitchen and huge walk-in closet. After my first year I went on a month to month lease. The management are very friendly, and supportive. I have a lovely view, and I have central air-conditioning. I have no family in town. I may never be rich or famous, but I sure wish I could afford to live here for many years. But soon it may be out of my price range. I will always remember Brewers Point, and how it made this low income person, who is proud to have lived his theater dreams a "STAR"!!! R. B. V. Milwaukee
