Located in the heart of Redwood City, Centennial is a bustling blend of suburban charm and urban amenities. Family-friendly features include great public schools like Redwood High School and Sequoia High School residing near the neighborhood. A movie theater, shopping malls, and local restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops are available to residents of Centennial as a part of Downtown Redwood City. There is also a community green space in town, Mezes Park, offering a playground, tennis and basketball courts, and more. Department stores, sporting goods shops, furniture outlets, and more reside just outside of Centennial as well. Apartments for rent in Centennial are fairly upscale with many luxury options available. However, there are also more affordable options to choose from as well. Although many residents work in Redwood City or nearby, some commute north into San Francisco, located approximately 26 miles away from Centennial.

Property Ratings at Brewster Place
Lived here for nearly 3 years. I moved out only because I bought my own place but otherwise would have continued to happily live at 600 Brewster place!! I enjoyed my time living in this building because of many reasons, such as: - The building is in walking distance to downtown and Caltrain. - Abundance of parking spaces on the Brewster ave despite being close to downtown. - Super easy access to 101 and El Camino - Great value for the rent - Management (Gwyneth) is very quick to respond to emails, address any issues and fix problems in the apartment. Communicating with her was smoothest I have experienced and she was super reasonable/ nice compared to two other buildings I have lived before. I Loved my apartment because of its abundant natural light, spacious balcony facing many trees on the Brewster St. and efficient floor plan. I will miss the balcony a lot since I enjoyed reading many books during the day there and watching movies at night time while seeing the moon at night or colorful trees. Highly recommend this building and I hope you enjoy living there as much as I did!
My partner and I have been residents at Brewster Place since 2017. In that time we've had 3 different pairs of Property Managers, all of whom live in the building. Each have been excellent, but the latest duo - Gwyneth and Sterling - are the most communicative, attentive, and collaborative Property Managers I've ever worked with. The Property Managers are quick to fix issues, reply to emails, and are generally very nice people. The building and units are relatively straightforward, but the price is great for being so close to Redwood City. Neighbors are respectful and generally the building is quiet (really thick walls). There can be a lot of construction and such around the building sometimes. We almost moved twice during our time here for various reasons, but each time our Property Managers have worked with us to find solutions that made us very happy to stay. Definitely recommend if you're interested in simple, relatively affordable living with Property Managers who genuinely care.
You cannot beat the prices of these units. The apartment is walking-distance to the Caltrain and to the heart of downtown. There's a really friendly atmosphere here, and the neighbors all look out for each other. Possibly the best part is the huge balcony - each unit has an enormous balcony perfect for experiencing that unbeatable Redwood City weather. The appliances could use updating, but to me it's not enough to detract from the apartment as a whole.
Price of these apartments is several hundred dollars per month less than the new, slick spots in Redwood City. Location is great -- short 10-minute walk to Caltrain and downtown restaurants, theaters, and bars, easy access to Highway 101. Don't expect high-end finishes or fancy views. Apartment neighbors are quite, but nearby houses and apartments are a different story. Do expect to "enjoy" the neighbors' music, motors, and arguments.
