Overpriced, hidden fees that pop up after you move in, parking sucks especially on the weekends and evening, Loud disruptive tenants they do nothing about, rats, snow removal non existent if outside of business hours, they do not work with you for anything even if you are a good tenant

Hello Melissa, We’re sorry to hear that we’ve fallen short of meeting your expectations. Please contact us directly so that we can get more information on your concerns and rectify any issues immediately. Thank you.
We have lived here a little over two years and would stay longer if we weren’t moving out of state. We were able to get an affordable three bedroom that had some updates and upgrades. For the most part it has been a very pleasant experience. The property grounds themselves could be maintained better, trash tends to hang around longer than it should and the playground is almost always trashed. They have recently added a few nice features including a dog wash and package room. Management is pretty responsive.
Bad management, dirty grounds, ugly, poor construction, arbitrary fees at the whim of management.
If I could give negative stars I would. This place is infested. The living experience has been going down hill since day one. The apartment was not ready when we moved in. The carpet was laid in such a rush that we step on carpet nails constantly as we come down the stairs. They never mentioned the sever roach infestation. They have attempted to get "rid" of the bugs multiple times and they fail every time. The repairs needed to our unit to bring it to city compliance were only addressed the week before the city inspector came out and we still have issues that should not exist. Namely screws that poke out of our oven and constant struggle to keep bugs from taking over our unit. All negative reviews are accurate. If I have any need of the office they will have me call in multiple times to get through. The normal excuse is that they are short staffed. I have been here since June and the 20+ calls i need to make to be able to get through to the office is ridiculous. Any frustrations will be met swiftly with a dial tone. They would rather hang up on a problem than deal with it. Leaving a voicemail is pointless because they will not respond. I gave this place a shot because they had new management. Probably time for a new management team to take over since this one is failing so badly. So sad since this place would be nice with a team that actually cared.
This is a terrible place to live. Rent is inconsistent. Managment is changing every 3 months or so. Trash everywhere. Broken bottles in the parking lot. Hidden fees every month. Trust me, look somewhere else.
This place is a joke. Management is unprofessional and lazy, the basement has flooded 3 times in a month, they drown their lawns and sidewalks and make you pay a ridiculously high water bill. I wish I had been warned.

We understand your frustration regarding the flooding, and we'll be sure to work toward preventing this from happening in the future. We have offered to let you transfer units as a resolution to the issues you are experiencing. If this is unacceptable please reach out to the office so that we can address them in person.
Absolutely the worst experience and rudest most unprofessional management I have ever dealt with. They will over charge you once you move out! BEWARE!!!!!! They will say you moved out a different date and over charge you for the days you didn’t even live there!!! Ever since the property was sold it has been a nightmare!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! BE WARNED! If I could give a negative score I absolutely would. I will be reporting them to the Colorado apartment association......be careful and I hope this review reaches anybody before they make the mistake to rent from these people.

We're sad to see your move-out experience left you with a negative perception of your time here. Our staff strives to provide 5-star service to all who walk through our doors and regret that we fell short of this goal in your instance. All move-out procedures and potential associated fees were clearly outlined in the lease agreement. You'll find it is not uncommon in the multifamily housing industry for some cleaning and repair costs to be owed upon move-out should the condition of the unit warrant it. If you have any lingering questions about these costs or would like to see an itemized list of charges, please give the office a call. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We wish you luck in your future endeavors

To sum this place up,Insanity!!!!! Today 5-4 we woke up to multiple evictions. It was raining and they threw the people items in the rain. One of the Units was a senior citizen. They have a very friendly Dog and they called the pound to remove the animal. Poor owner got home and was worried about his pet. The owner of this property should really have a heart. These poor people were at work and throw their items in the rain and call animal control to remove their friendly Dog. Shame on you Sunset Ridge.
I really like my apartment. It is more like a townhome. 3 stories. Living room/ kitchen/ 1/2 bath on main floor, bedrooms/ full bath on 2nd floor, and a bonus basement!! The new management is making some great changes. They seem to know what they are doing and I’m looking forward to what to come.
I have lived here for 5 years neither my heat or ac has worked. They lie to the city and say they are working on it. Worst management ever. They are so rude and threaten you. Say away from this dump. Not worth your money.
Its really nice but to expensive especially since last year a security shot a resident if i could i would move plus rent is getting more expensive!!!
Very friendly people. Great up keep of units. They are great with animals. They also do alot of holiday activities for children and families for the holidays.
I have lived at Sunset Ridge for 9 years. They are very spacious apartments, they are newly remodeled. They take good care of the property such as parking lot, grass. If you have children the bus stop comes right in front of the apartments. The property manager and maintenance men are very nice and helpful. I like the location, it is very close to shopping and restaurants, especially the new mall being built on 88th and Sheridan. Any problems I have had here have been resolved with help from the manager. In this area I think these are the largest and best deal for your money.
I have lived here since November and the I have more cons then pros. The walls are very thin I can hear my neighbors screaming at all hours, I constantly smell Marijuana and cigarettes through out the whole unit and all the main office did was post notes on doors. last is the maintenance they come out right away when you have to pay for the repairs but when it's on them be ready to wait along time before the problem is resolved. only good thing I've found is the space.
Although these apartment/townhomes have much more overall square footage than your average apartment does, for the average rent, 1/3 of the space is the basement. Which has your water heater furnace and washer and dryer connections. It is all open and unfinished and not good for much of anything other than a rec room or storage. Although if you bring some lamps down, you can have an OK office space. The bedroom are very spacious with plenty of closet space. The living room has some good space, although its not the best floor plan, you can get creative and have some great space. The kitchen and dining area are connected in one room. This leaves good space for a dining area however makes the kitchen fairly small. There is not much counter space and even less storage space. This makes it kind of tight for a family. This is considering you do a lot if cooking and have quite a few small alliances. The insulation here is horrible. Although during the winter the neighboring apartments can keep my unit warm enough that I don't have to turn on my heat. However during the summer the ac just can't keep up. The windows are old and you here everything outside. Unfortunately the lack of insulation also also you to easily here things in the neighboring units. From room to room you here more or less. The bathrooms are where you will here the most from surrounding apartments. Parking is not always the best, but I have not seen many apartments that have good parking. I hope you all find this very useful and helpful in consideration of these apartments.
I have lived here since April. It is nice having somewhere to go to get away from everybody else, IF only I had that. I do like living in this little community. My son loves the pool, and the playgrounds, while I like the set up of the house. My only issues have been with maintenance. The faucet for the hot water on our tub has been broken since I moved in. I have told the main office multiple times. The office was prompt at sending out the work order. This is a definite YAY. But the maintenance man did not fix it right. This is my NAY. So Yay or Nay, I am choosing yay because this is still my place to live.
