The dramatically beautiful eastern edge of Washington County showcases a laid-back way of life. Charming, historic Stillwater, surrounded by complementary smaller communities including Oak Park Heights, Bayport, and Marine on St. Croix, becomes one of the state's most appealing tourist destinations on summer weekends, during fall leaf-peeping season and when winter holiday decorations turn the vintage business district into a wonderland, complete with horse-drawn carriages. Located 30 minutes directly east of the Twin Cities, Washington Far Eastern Suburbs is a popular bedroom community with easy access to major highways like I-94.
With its location along the St. Croix River, an apartment in Washington Far Eastern Suburbs offers scenic views and plenty of parks and green spaces to explore. Whether it's an afternoon picnic at Pioneer Park or hiking the 5.9-mile Brown's Creek State Trail along the river, the area's natural beauty is ideal for a variety of outdoor adventures.

Property Ratings at Briar Pond Apartments
Tried reaching out for a tour and have heard nothing back.
I’ve lived here for 10 years and have seen 6 managers come and go along with 6 different assistant managers. Absolutely no continuity as employee turnover and temps to fill in are not on the same page. Several times they dropped the ball and prefer to ignore what they don’t want to deal with. Managers are often gone, maybe stop in once or twice a week. Inspections are intrusive a few times a year and often don’t give much warning. Building is unclean, not vacuumed let alone shampooed carpet. Stains are everywhere you look, including chairs, and furniture was stolen with last tenants that were evicted and replaced with more worn furniture. Unprofessional and pushy management and maintenance staff.
I have been renting an apt at Briar Pond for almost four years. The positives: new appliances and carpet when I moved in, heated garage, on-site rent payment drop-off, view of wetlands and nature from my unit, some exercise equipment, timely maintenance, and customer service. The negatives: poor construction and heavy footed neighbors above equals having to sleep with earplugs in, ant problems, at least three different yearly inspections, kitchen counters and flooring and bathroom vanity and flooring are not aesthetically pleasing but function alright, exercise equipment is outdated but also still functions, and carpet is already worn and should be replaced. Basically, this apartment is alright. Good place to start off and save up. But I am most definitely looking forward to moving out into something better.
This place has been such an amazing place to live! My husband and I moved here about 5 months ago the application process is very long and extensive but do not let set you back. This just means that they are checking everyone that is coming into this place. Which is Great. This place is quiet the staff are friendly and if you have a maintenance problem it will be fixed with-in 24 hours. The apartments are big and spacious. The washer and dryer and appliances are all kept up to date! Big deck and storage room! After all the apartments that we looked at this place was the best for a great price!
It's very annoying how the management ladies at this place would set up multiple appointments to try to get our apartments rented out. For the last two months of this lease, appointments to show my appointments is more than twice a week. I still live there. I work graveyard shift. Therefore, I sleep during the day. To have to wake up, and get out of my apartment so they could show the unit Im in. It's ridiculous. Be warn, that they will do this to you too when your lease is almost over. I didn't notice the red flags when I was showed the unit. There was still clothes and a bed. Now my lease is over And Im very upset how they are inconsiderate and unprofessional. I still live there. I wish they would show my unit after I actually moved out!!!!! -Rm#332
