Property Ratings at Briarwick Apts
Apartments are pretty basic and clean, but they’re in desperate need of updating. Rent is not a bad price for a 2 bedroom. The paint on the walls is very hard to clean and if you rub too hard it just peels right off. Plowing was done quickly but shoveling sometimes took longer than it should. Maintenance always comes in 1-2 business days which is nice. Replaced our AC the same day it broke on a 90 degree day. However, our disposal stopped working and we had standing water in our sink from Friday till Monday since they don’t work on the weekends. They fixed some parking lots, but mine had a lot of pot holes and the lines were almost impossible to see. Management is very nice and respectful, and always got back to you quickly. Never had any issues with them. All in all it was a good 1st apartment but I will not be renewing my lease.
Pros: you get your own address, utilities (except electric & internet) are included, usually pretty quiet, master bedroom is huge, shoveling is usually done quickly, pool is open past Labor Day if it’s nice out, underground parking for extra fee Cons: apartment not cleaned well before moving in, paint job was horrible (there’s hair painted into the walls in the bathroom and if you just rub the walls in some areas the paint just peels off), kitchen counters shed wood shavings underneath, dishwasher doesn’t actually remove food...you have to make sure you get every last piece of food off before putting the dishes in so it’s basically just a sanitation machine, dryer takes forever to dry and washer does a semi-okay job of actually getting clothes clean, outdated appliances and apartment as a whole, bathroom fan fails to remove moisture, several bug issues, torn up grass, rusty door frames (they’re metal) and rusty front doors, leaky roofs (we have water damage to our ceiling and walls that they’ve done nothing about), sidewalk areas and parking lot flooding. These apartments need a big overhaul and update.
This is the best apartment I've lived in and this is the 4th. I've lived here going on my 3rd year! It's more like LIVING in a deplux because I have my own address, own door and patio. This is my HOME! I hardly ever hear the people above me either which is so nice and unusual for apartment living! I feel very very safe here. I wouldn't usually leave my Windows open living in a lower but here I do. The whole area is so pretty meaning the landscape. This is a family oriented community with a pool that opens when the weather is hot, meaning sometimes b4 Memorial day and even after Labor day. An exercise room, club house you can also rent out for only $100 with everything you need plus a big screen t.v.& pool table plus the manager has GB Packers parties in it too! They also have a pig roast every summer in August which we just had and it was awesome! If you look in their FB page you will see other parties they've had too! The whole management is just awesome! I just can't say enough about my home I just love it!
Clean, well kept, painless application process and the neighbors are great. Jerry has a garden growing right outside my front door. I would recommend Briarwick to anyone.
